Work Text:

Lucy walks into the bar, hoping not to run into anyone. She’s wearing a tight, short red dress that turns heads. She orders a tequila shot and scans the room but of course, their eyes lock. The one and only Tim Bradford. Without hesitation, he gets up and slides onto the stool right next to her, the air between them instantly charged with something electric.“I didn’t think you’d want to be seen with a rookie,” Lucy says, her voice teasing as she sips her tequila.Tim smirks, leaning in closer. “I just say that to make y’all scared.”Lucy’s smile deepens, eyes sparkling with challenge. “Is that so? Guess I’m not scared.”He chuckles low, the tension between them thickening. “Good. Because I’m not here to play it safe tonight.”

Lucy leaned in, her voice soft but teasing. “So, I feel like we haven’t really gotten to know each other. Tell me something about you, Bradford.”Tim raised an eyebrow, a slow smile playing on his lips. “We’re at a bar, and you want to know more about me? Bold move, boot.”She matched his grin, unbothered. “Maybe I like a little risk.”He laughed, the warmth in his eyes turning serious. “Alright then here’s a secret, just for you.”

Tim leaned back, a smirk tugging at his lips. “I hate hanging out with my rookies, but I’m making an exception just for you.”Lucy rolled her eyes, playful. “Ugh, that’s not a secret.”He laughed, shaking his head. “Okay, okay, maybe not a secret… but it’s the truth.”She smiled, the spark between them growing stronger with every word.

They spent hours talking, their faces so close they could feel the heat rising from each other’s breath. The noise of the bar blurred into the background as their connection deepened.Lucy laughed softly, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. “You’re not as tough as you act, Tim.”He grinned, eyes never leaving hers. “Maybe I just like keeping you guessing.”She teased, “Is that why you’re still sitting here instead of out with the guys?”Tim’s smile grew warmer. “Because tonight, I’m exactly where I want to be.”Lucy’s heart skipped a beat, the tension between them shifting from playful to something much more intense. “Careful, Bradford. You might just make me forget the rules.” “Good,” he whispered. “I’m ready to break a few.”

Tim and Lucy’s lips brushed softly, the moment electric and fragile. Suddenly, something clattered down the bar, making them both jump and freeze panic flashing in their eyes as they worried about getting caught.

Tim laughed softly, shaking his head. “Relax, boot. No one’s paying attention.”Before Lucy could even catch her breath, he pulled her back in, his lips crashing onto hers with a fierce, hungry intensity. The world around them blurred as she melted against him, her hands weaving through his hair while his arms wrapped tightly around her waist, pulling her closer. When they finally broke apart, only for a moment, Lucy’s eyes sparkled with mischief and desire. “You’re trouble, Bradford.”He smirked, tracing a finger along her jawline. “And you’re exactly the kind of trouble I like.”She bit her lip, leaning into his touch. “Is that why you’ve been sneaking glances at me all night?”Tim’s gaze darkened, voice low and teasing. “Maybe. Or maybe I’m just waiting for the right moment.”Lucy laughed softly, breathless. “Well, you found it.”The tension between them thickened, electric and undeniable. Around them, the bar’s noise faded to nothing as they lost themselves in each other, two hearts breaking every rule but not caring one bit.Tim whispered, “This night was never meant to be simple.”Lucy smiled, her voice barely above a whisper. “Good. Because neither am I.”

Tim switched to water, watching Lucy take shot after shot with a careful smile. They stayed like that for hours him steady and calm, her playful and free lost in conversation and the pull between them, neither wanting the night to end.

“I should probably call it a night,” Lucy said, her voice a little breathless as she glanced at the clock and then back at Tim.Tim raised an eyebrow, a slow smile curling on his lips. “Already? You’re just getting started.”She laughed, leaning back in her chair, fingers tracing the rim of her glass. “Maybe, but I’m not sure my stamina can keep up with you.”He leaned in, eyes dark and playful. “Is that a challenge?”Lucy’s smile turned mischievous. “Depends can you handle it?”Tim’s grin widened, and he tapped the table lightly. “I’m pretty sure I’m the one setting the pace tonight.”Their conversation drifted between teasing and something deeper, charged with an undercurrent of desire neither wanted to ignore.Lucy’s gaze softened for a moment. “You really surprised me tonight, Tim. I thought you’d be all work and no fun.”He chuckled, brushing a stray hair from her face. “And I thought you’d be all Lucy nerves and no fire. Guess we both had something to prove.”She bit her lip, eyes locking with his. “Maybe we should stop proving things and just see where this goes.”Tim’s voice dropped, full of promise. “I like the sound of that. No rules, no pressure—just us.”Lucy’s heart raced, and despite the late hour, a slow smile spread across her face. “Alright, Bradford. Let’s see how far we can take this night.”Tim reached out, fingers curling around hers, pulling her closer. “Trust me, this is just the beginning.”

The night was winding down, and Lucy’s head was spinning not just from the drinks, but from the way Tim had her feeling all night. She tried to steady herself as she reached for her keys, but Tim’s hand was suddenly on hers, firm and warm.

“Whoa, Luce,” he said, his voice low and serious. “You’re in no state to drive.”Lucy blinked, trying to protest, but the warmth from the tequila and the softness in Tim’s eyes made her hesitate.“I can take you home,” he added smoothly, his gaze locking with hers. “Safe and sound. No questions asked.”Her heart skipped, and a shy smile tugged at her lips. “You really don’t have to.”Tim’s grin was mischievous. “I don’t do ‘don’t have to.’ I do ‘I want to.’ Besides…” He leaned closer, voice dropping to a whisper. “I get to be with you a little longer.”Lucy laughed softly, the nerves melting away with the thrill of his attention. “Fine, you win.”

He helped her up, his hand steady on her lower back as they walked out into the cool night air. The streetlights cast a glow around them, and every step felt electric.Opening the car door for her, Tim gave her a look that said he was enjoying every second of this—her flushed cheeks, the slight wobble in her step, the way her eyes kept flickering to his.As they drove through the quiet streets, the tension between them thickened. Tim reached over, his fingers brushing hers, sending sparks up her arm.The city lights blurred past, but in that moment, nothing else mattered except the road ahead—and the unexpected journey they’d just begun.

---

They pulled up to Lucy’s house, the quiet night wrapping around them like a secret. Tim stepped out first, opening her door and helping her out with a steady hand.He walked her up the porch steps, the tension between them still simmering in the cool air. When they reached her door, Tim paused, looking down at her with a soft smile. “Good night, Lucy.”

Lucy hesitated, then bit her lip and glanced back inside through the window. “Tamara’s not home… if you want, you could come in.”Tim’s eyes darkened with surprise and something more—interest, maybe even hope. He smiled slowly, stepping closer. “You sure about that?”She nodded, heart pounding. “Yeah. I’m sure.”The door creaked open, and the night just got a lot more dangerous—and a lot more real.

Tim stepped inside, the door closing softly behind him. Before he could say a word, Lucy’s lips were already on his warm, urgent, and full of everything they’d been holding back.He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, voice low and serious. “Are you sure you want to do this?”Lucy swallowed, her heartbeat loud in the silence. She met his gaze without hesitation. “Yes.”The space between them disappeared in an instant, and the night turned electric with all the possibilities waiting just beyond the door.

Tim's hand found the small of Lucy's back, his touch sending shivers down her spine. He leaned in, his breath warm against her neck, and whispered, "I've been wanting to do this since the moment I saw you in that red dress." Lucy's heart pounded in her chest, her breath hitching as she felt his lips brush against her skin. "Me too," she whispered back, her voice barely audible. The tension between them was palpable, their bodies pressed close as they stood in the doorway, the city lights casting a soft glow around them. Tim's fingers trailed up her back, his thumb gently brushing against her collarbone, making her gasp softly. "You're playing with fire, Lucy," he murmured, his voice low and husky. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with desire and challenge. "And you're the one who started it, Bradford." Tim's smile was slow and seductive as he leaned in, capturing her lips in a fierce, passionate kiss. The night was just beginning, and they were ready to explore every possibility together.

Tim's hands found their way to the buttons of Lucy's dress, his fingers deftly unbuttoning each one with a slow, deliberate pace. The cool air of the penthouse kissed her skin as he pushed the fabric off her shoulders, revealing the soft curve of her neck and the swell of her breasts. He leaned in, his lips tracing a path of gentle kisses down the column of her throat, his hands cupping her breasts through the lace of her bra.

Lucy's breath hitched as he flicked his tongue against the sensitive skin, her fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer. "Tim," she gasped, her voice barely a whisper. "I want you." He looked up at her, his eyes dark with desire, and with a swift movement, he unhooked her bra, letting it fall to the floor. The room was filled with the soft sounds of their breathing, the rustle of clothes as they hurried to undress each other, their bodies pressing together in a dance of urgency and need. Tim's hands explored every inch of her, his touch igniting a fire within her that threatened to consume them both. He lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the plush sofa in the living room, where he laid her down gently, his body covering hers. Their lips met in a fierce, passionate kiss, their tongues tangling as they gave in to their desires, their bodies entwined in a dance of love and longing.

Lucy's body arched as Tim's hands slid down her sides, his fingers tracing the curve of her hips. He looked into her eyes, seeking permission, and she nodded, her breath coming in short gasps. With a swift movement, he unzipped her skirt, his hands sliding under the fabric to cup her bare skin. She shivered at his touch, her fingers digging into his shoulders as he pulled the skirt off, leaving her in a lacy thong and a pair of stockings. Tim's eyes darkened with desire as he took in her body, his hands moving to the clasp of her thong, slowly sliding it down her legs. He kissed her inner thighs, his breath hot against her skin, making her moan softly.

"Tim," she gasped, her voice filled with anticipation. "I need you." He looked up at her, his eyes filled with a primal hunger. "I'm right here, Lucy," he murmured, his voice low and husky. He slid his hands up her thighs, his fingers tracing the delicate folds between her legs. She gasped as he touched her, her hips bucking against his hand. "You're so wet," he murmured, his fingers sliding inside her, making her cry out in pleasure. "I want to taste you," he said, his voice filled with desire. He leaned in, his tongue finding her most sensitive spot, making her writhe beneath him. "Tim," she moaned, her fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer.

"I'm close," she gasped, her body tensing as he continued to pleasure her. "Come for me, Lucy," he murmured, his fingers and tongue working in perfect harmony. And with a cry of release, she did, her body shuddering as waves of pleasure washed over her. Tim looked up at her, a satisfied smile on his face. "I love the way you taste," he murmured, his fingers still inside her, making her shiver with anticipation. "Now it's my turn," she said, her voice filled with determination. She pushed him back onto the sofa, her hands moving to his belt, unbuckling it with a swift movement. She unzipped his pants, her fingers sliding inside, wrapping around his hard length. He groaned, his hips bucking against her hand. "Lucy," he gasped, his voice filled. They decide to move to the bedroom not able to let each other go just so involve with each others touch.

Lucy's fingers tangled in Tim's hair as she pulled him closer, their lips meeting in a fierce, passionate kiss. The taste of him, the feel of his body against hers, sent a wave of desire crashing through her. She felt his hands roaming over her body, igniting a fire that threatened to consume them both. "I need you, Tim," she whispered against his lips, her voice filled with a primal hunger. He looked into her eyes, his breath hitching as he saw the raw desire gleaming in their depths.

"I'm right here, Lucy," he murmured, his voice low and husky. He lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bed, where he laid her down gently. His body covered hers, and their lips met in another fierce kiss. She could feel his hard length pressing against her, and she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him closer. "Now, Tim," she gasped, her voice filled with urgency. "I want to feel you inside me." He looked into her eyes, his breath hitching as he saw the raw desire gleaming in their depths. "Always, Lucy," he whispered, his voice filled with a primal hunger. He positioned himself at her entrance, and with a slow, deliberate movement, he slid inside her. They both moaned, their bodies entwined in a dance of love and longing. The night was just beginning, and they were ready to explore every possibility together.

The room had gone quiet, the kind of stillness that settles in after the rush of something intense and unforgettable. Their bodies were tangled beneath the sheets, skin warm and breath steadying.

Lucy lay on Tim’s chest, one arm draped across him, her fingers lazily tracing circles along his skin. Each slow motion felt intimate, grounding—like she was memorizing him with every touch.

Tim stared up at the ceiling, one arm wrapped around her, the other resting over his stomach. His heart still beat a little too fast, not from nerves, but from everything that had just happened.

Neither of them spoke for a while. There was no need to. The silence wasn’t awkward—it was safe.

Eventually, Lucy’s movements slowed, her eyes fluttering shut as she exhaled softly against his chest. Her fingers paused, resting flat over his heart.

Tim looked down at her, brushing a strand of hair from her face. His mind was racing again—training, boundaries, the badge. He knew the line they crossed tonight could change everything. He didn’t want to wake up with it all falling apart.

He carefully shifted, gently sliding out from beneath her. But the moment the bed moved, Lucy stirred, her voice quiet but firm.

“Don’t,” she whispered, eyes still heavy with sleep. “Please don’t leave.”Tim froze. Her hand reached for his, and her fingers curled around his wrist—soft, but certain.“I just need you here,” she added, not opening her eyes. “We’ll figure it out later. Just… stay.”

His chest tightened at the sound of her voice—tired, honest, trusting. He swallowed hard, then let himself sink back beside her.As she nestled into him again, her breath evened out, and her hand returned to its place, slowly tracing gentle patterns over his chest. Tim closed his eyes, letting the weight of the moment settle over them both.

He would deal with the fallout later. For now, he was exactly where he wanted to be.
