Previously on Kamen Rider Gotchard!
Houtaro Ichinose and the 101 Chemies Gotcha and got to foil the plans of Geryon, who had gained the powers of the Underworld and become Kamen Rider El Dorado! Using a new Driver and the power of Team Hopper, Houtaro saved the Earth and alchemized a whole new planet for the Chemies to live on! The time of conflict for these young Alchemists seems to have come to an end.
“That concludes our report on recurring income and expenditures for the third quarter, Mr. Esophagus. As I said, the figures show a marked drop in sales since the previous year.”
“It can't be helped. It’s just another example of the system of supply and demand spreading to the Granute underworld.”
“You dare to insult our products?”
Wait a minute, Yicheng. He has a point. At least in this industry, Stomach Inc. has more advantages than we do. Their technology for processing human presses into Dark Treats is second to none, not to mention their human disguises, transportation, processing speed and quality control. Our company is certainly behind Stomach Inc. and is in need of drastic reforms or market differentiation. Mr. Esophagus, I have a proposal for you.”
“What is it?”
“I have discovered a new spice for Dark Treats that is even more delicious than humans.”
“More delicious than humans?”
“Indeed. My men have discovered some interesting information from their undercover work in a certain secret organization. Please take a look at this. A miraculous creature created by ancient Alchemy that reacts not to happiness, but to malice, and transforms its potential into dark power. It is called a Chemy.”
A whole new Earth.
The world Houtaro created still held many mysteries. It was made from the remnants of Dreadtroopers and many other materials, and sits in space adjacent to Earth. Despite the close proximity, the new planet did not seem to affect Earth’s rotation speed at all. After some study, the Alchemists Union concluded that this is because the new Earth is a massless entity, and a few researchers are still studying the atmospheric composition, geology, and likelihood of human habitation on the new planet.
Today, two Alchemists have arrived to help their peers with this research, Houtaro Ichinose and Rinne Kudo.
“Ichinose… will you really keep the same dream?”
Rinne asked this simple question to the young man playing with Chemies beside her.
“Kudo?”
“When humans recovered all their memories of Chemies they started fighting over their power. They were filled with malice and greed, turned into Malgams, and even broke into the Alchemy Academy. Even without the rules of Alchemy, I wonder if humans and Chemies can really coexist.”
“Don't worry!”
Houtarou smiled at Rinne as if to say there was nothing to worry about.
“I'm going to start rebuilding a future where humans and Chemies can live together. That's my Gotcha!”
“Ichinose…”
Rinne gave a small smile at Houtaro’s familiar words. But in the next moment…
BOOOOM!
An explosive roar sounded far away, and a line of blasts and earth-shaking tremors hit the Alchemists and Chemies. Getting to their feet, the pair felt an ominous presence, and saw a line of black smoke pouring from the burning forests up ahead.
“I have a bad feeling about this. Let's hurry, Kudo!”
“Right!”
Houtarou and Rinne ran towards the flames, but suddenly stopped short.
“What?”
“What the hell is that guy?”
For a moment, they could not believe their eyes. The scorching air burned their skin, and the huge figure rising out of the black smoke stirred their fear. Standing before them was an armed group in masks, and a huge monster towered over them.
Its body was covered by armor as smooth and shiny as obsidian. The single horn on its head shone silver, and its mane of purple and black spread out like a flowing stream from its neck and back, making a bewitching sound as it swayed in the wind. The most conspicuous feature of the monster was a large mouth on its abdomen filled with razor sharp teeth.
“A Narwhal… no, a Unicorn Malgam!”
“It can’t be. The Unicorn Chemy is right here!”
Rinne looked between the Chemy card in her hand and the monster before her, full of confusion. As she and Houtaro stared, the monster spoke.
“I am Dharm, the Vice President of Eclipse Inc.”
“Eclipse, Inc.?”
“By order of the President, we were sent to find you two.”
“How did you get here? What’s your goal?”
Houtarou shuddered, but stood firm.
“Houtarou Ichinose, give me your Chemies.”
“What?!”
“We need your most powerful Chemies to reform Eclipse's business model. If you don’t want to die here, you will hand them over without resisting.”
“I'll never give them to you!” Chemies are not tools, and I won’t let you hurt them!”
“Then we have no choice. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to use force.”
Dharm raised his right hand and spoke to the masked troops behind him.
“Do it.”
The troops lowered their weapons and advanced on Houtaro and Rinne.
“Let's go, Kudo!”
“Yeah!”
The two summoned their Drivers and grabbed two Chemy cards.
Hopper 1! Steamliner!
Alchemis Link! Unicorn! The Sun!”
Alchemy is a power that has been used for good and evil. These young Alchemists use it to become warriors who fight for the freedom of mankind and confront fear.
They are called Kamen Riders.
“Henshin!”
Gatchanko!
Steam Hopper!
Prominence horn! Sun Unicorn!
“HAAAA!”
After a year of battles, the two Riders were skilled and fierce in combat.
Gotchard fended off enemy slashes and counterattacks. His movements were as quick as a gale, and he was able to read the gaps in the attacks that came one after another. Meanwhile, Majeed pummeled the enemy forces with punches, palm strikes, and kicks. The sound of dull blows echoed through the battlefield, and one after another, the masked enemy forces fell before their onslaught.
“It looks like they're going to be a challenge.”
As the surrounding Agents fell, the next challenger to appear was Dharm, who boasted a massive frame of steel. He advanced steadily, carrying a large sword on his shoulder. Its blade was a myriad of scratches and dents that spoke of years of military prowess.
“You’re my next opponent!”
Dharm swung his sword down, Its pressure ripping through the air. Gotchard took a defensive stance, but the weight of the blow knocked him down.
“Damn! This strength…what the hell are you?”
“I told you. I am Dharm, Vice President of the Eclipse Corporation. I am the one who controls the black market confectionery industry in the Granute underworld.”
“Granute? Dark confectionery? What are you talking about?”
“I have no need to tell you. You will die in ignorance, Houtaro Ichinose!”
Dharm stepped forward to finish off Gotchard.
“Ugh!”
The fist of Kamen Rider Majeed caught him from the side. The impact briefly knocked Dharm off his feet, but he recovered his balance and moved to attack with a ferocious roar.
Gotcharge Gun!
Gotchard quickly raised the weapon and pulled the trigger with all his might.
“Hah!”
The bullet hit Dharm with an explosive lash of light. Sparks raced violently across his body, and the impact blew him back several meters.
“I'm not going to let you take the Chemies! Come on, guys!”
As if in response to Gotchard's cry, the space behind him was torn open with a burst of light, and multiple cards flew through it into his hands.
Gotchard took the cards and loaded them one after another into his Gotcharge Gun.
Renking Robo! Kuroana! Warptera!
A gun was enveloped in a dazzling glow of energy. Gotchard lowered it at Dharm and prepared to fire.
“I won't let you!”
Dharm roared and threw his great sword to the side. To Houtaro’s shock, the monster opened its stomach-mouth and ejected a long, glowing red tentacle-like object. The unexpected attack forced the two Riders on the defensive. The tentacles were alarmingly fast, aiming at Majeed and Gotchard at the same time.
Before Majeed could react, the tentacles came at her, ripping through the air. Gotchard instantly lowered his posture while continuing to charge the finisher.
“OOOOOOOOOH!”
Gagagagacharge Buster!
The dazzling blow from the gun collided head-on with the enemy's attack. The entire space was filled with a metallic screech, and a pure white flash. A maddening vortex of energy roared around the point of impact.
The next moment an explosive shockwave burst out. Everything in its path vanished in a moment, leaving nothing but a distorted, pitch black, empty space.
“What in the world is…”
Suddenly a rift in space-time opened before Dharm and the two Riders. For a moment they could see the original Earth behind it, and then the rift contracted, sucking all of them in with tremendous force.
“OOOHHH!”
“AHHHH!”
And all of them fell back to Earth.
