Work Text:

Shall we escape this blackness dark as night
Silent as ghosts we walk these ancient halls
Maker, lead us back to your light

Desperate for aid we pray we are right
To wander through thaigs lost to all
Shall we escape this blackness dark as night

Pillars and halls tell tales of Dwarven might
crumbling mem’ries lost to sudden downfall
Maker, lead us back to your light

Each step further below makes our breath tight
fearful this path leads to naught after all
Shall we escape this blackness dark as night

Scared battles in the dark—please aid our fight
don’t let this be where we all fall
Maker, lead us back to your light

Blood covers my face, dreading the Blight
the feel of sunlight long past recall
Shall we escape this blackness dark as night
Maker, lead me back to your light
