   Summary

   Following the shocking fall out from her breakup with Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger goes back to Hogwarts for her eighth year, where she'll finish out her studies as Head Girl. Only, when she arrives at the place where she once found solace and refuge, she's met with the incomprehensible reality that Theodore Nott is Head Boy. This collision of confusion rocks Hermione's world as she has to reconcile her past idea of Theodore Nott with who she discovers he is now. As Hermione has to watch as Ron publically parades with a lineup of witches, Theo thoughtfully proposes a solution that could ease both of their unique and individual struggles.
