Summary
There was a long pause where Carlos just stood there and Max just sat there. The story between Max and Charles was almost always left unrung. The two of them were basically the equivalent of the Bubonic Plague in the firm with how everyone avoided mentioning them. But 6 months ago Max left and now the bell was being rung. "I know."
"He's not sleeping."

"He needs you."
Max bit his tongue, turning in his chair to look at Carlos. "In all the time I’ve known Charles he hasn’t needed anyone," he said before turning back to his drink.
