Work Text:
On the 13th of July, two members from their group, Hoshi and Woozi held a fancon in Seoul, South Korea. A lot of people attended the show, including the other Seventeen members that don't perform on the stage.
Unfortunately, not all members could make it to the show, but they encouraged the two by another way, like texting and videocalling. Seventeen's friendship is really top tier. They don't just see eachother as friends, they see eachother as family.
Seungcheol, or more known as S.Coups while on stage, didn't even realize Jeonghan came to the concert. He thought he might be busy with his work, since Jeonghan is currently active as a civilian, and not an idol. But turns out, he has his ways on how to show love and support to his members. As expected from the Yoon Jeonghan, am I right?
At first, Seungcheol just shot some glances at Jeonghan, hesitating to come closer to him. Why? He doesn't even know himself, actually.
Without Seungcheol knowing, Jeonghan noticed the little glances Seungcheol gave him while he thought he wasn't looking. Jeonghan chuckled to himself. My boyfriend is such a cutie, I swear...
When Woozi was singing SIMPLE, Jeonghan approached Seungcheol, who was singing his heart out. Seungcheol finally noticed Jeonghan was standing right beside him after a few minutes.
"Well, hello there, didn't expect to see you here," Seungcheol said while smiling widely. It has been like...forever since he has seen Jeonghan in person, not just by videocall or photos sent by the, or should I say his man himself.
"I noticed those glances you gave me from afar, you aren't that sneaky, you know," Jeonghan teased while having that signature smirk on his face.
Seungcheol gently positioned his hand near Jeonghan's, and they softly interlocked fingers. Jeonghan's smirk slowly turned into a genuine smile.
Seungcheol smiled as he noticed something,
"You're wearing one of my caps, aren't you?"
He noticed that the hat Jeonghan was wearing seemed very familiar.
"Correct! I'll be borrowing this for a few days, or months, depends." Jeonghan happily answered.
In their relationship, Seungcheol's things are Seungcheol's and also Jeonghan's. While Jeonghan's things stay as Jeonghan's.
Other than Jeonghan constantly stealing Seungcheol's things, they actually have LOTS of matching things. Starting from clothes, caps, and bracelets.
Seungcheol realized the bracelet on Jeonghan's wrist. He felt a sense of pride in his chest, remembering Jeonghan's adorable reaction. From jumping because of happiness to crying, also because of happiness. Typical Jeonghan.
"You're very pretty, right now. Well actually you're pretty all the time," Seungcheol suddenly said. But he wasn't lying. He felt like Jeonghan gets even prettier each second.
After that sweet interaction, they decided to focus on watching the concert in front of them, knowing they'll have plenty of time alone later.
As the concert came to an end, the members who weren't on stage earlier went to the backstage to meet Hoshi and Woozi. They took pictures, laughed and teased eachother.
After all of that, they went back to their respective houses. But Jeonghan went back with his home, which is Seungcheol.
When they reached Seungcheol's house, the owner of the house himself immediately wrapped his arms around Jeonghan's waist and hugged him.
"I've missed you sooooo much..." Seungcheol whined, even though his voice was muffled since he buried his head onto Jeonghan's shoulder. What a big damn baby. Well, Jeonghan's baby.
"I've missed you too, my love," Jeonghan answered in a sweet and soft voice.
They stayed in that position, hugging while standing, for 10 whole minutes.
"Do you have a plan to sit or not, Cheollie?" Jeonghan asked as he chuckled.
"Oh..yeah, let's sit down," Seungcheol said, his tone dripping with sleepiness. He almost fell asleep while standing because Jeonghan's arms were so comfy to him.
When Jeonghan sat down, Seungcheol didn't sit down beside him, he laid his head down on Jeonghan's lap. Such a clingy person...he's just like Kkuma.
Jeonghan's fingers gently stroked his hair, and that made Seungcheol even more sleepy.
Jeonghan let out a giggle, "You're sleepy, aren't ya?"
Seungcheol didn't answer verbally, he just nodded, he couldn't find the energy to talk because he was too damn sleepy.
"Alright, sleep then. But not on my lap maybe? If you sleep on my lap, next morning I'll feel like my legs have ran away from me." Jeonghan chuckled.
Seungcheol smiled and sat up before standing up and dragging Jeonghan to his bedroom.
They held eachother as they slowly went to dream land.
Nothing feels more comfortable than falling asleep in the arms of the person you trust and love the most.
06:06 on the clock.
As the birds chirped and the sun woke up, Jeonghan matched the sun and woke up too.
He blinked a few times, adjusting to the brightness of the day as he saw Seungcheol still fast asleep. Poor baby must be tired.
He didn't have the heart to wake Seungcheol up. Not now, at least.
After about 2 hours, Seungcheol stirred and woke up from his deep slumber.
"Well, good morning sleepyhead," Jeonghan greeted him with a smile and a kiss on the forehead.
"Good...morning, princess," Seungcheol answered, in his deep and raspy voice. Even though his voice was hot as hell, his face was so adorable. Puffy and pouty. Jeonghan had to hold himself back from poking Seungcheol's cheek.
"What do you want for breakfast, love?" Jeonghan asked. And Seungcheol took a few seconds to respond, half of his soul still in dream land.
"I'm not hung-" He was about answer that he wasn't hungry, but was immediately cut off by Jeonghan.
"Not hungry isn't an answer allowed here, don't lie. I know you're hungry," Jeonghan sternly stated.
Ever since 2015, Jeonghan has always made sure the members had a good eating pattern so they don't get sick.
"Alright, alright..don't get snappy at me," Seungcheol pouted.
Jeonghan sighed, that damn face he made all the time whenever he didn't want Jeonghan to be mad at him.
"I'm not being snappy, my lovee. I just don't want you to lie and say you aren't hungry, even though you didn't even have dinner last night." Jeonghan softly explained as he gently caressed the other's cheek.
"So, back to the topic. What do you want to eat?" Jeonghan asked again.
"Hmm...can we have eggs and toast?" Seungcheol said as his eyes lit up. He's so adorable.
Jeonghan smiled and nodded. "Eggs and toast it is, then,"
Jeonghan stood up and went to the kitchen, as Seungcheol followed behind.
While Jeonghan was cooking, Seungcheol offered to help, but Jeonghan refused, saying he could do this by himself.
Seungcheol decided to just strike up a conversation.
"Love?"
"Yes?" Jeonghan immediately responded as the egg went into the oiled up pan.
"In your opinion, did eggs or chickens come first?" Seungcheol asked.
"What a random question you have there...well, in my opinion...eggs came first, because..I don't know, honestly. Eggs were on the earth way longer than chickens were,"
"But how did the eggs turn into chicken eggs then?"
"Most likely formed through the process of genetic mutation from the zygotes of two proto-chickens,"
"But-"
Well. The cooking session also turned into a playful debate session.
As breakfast was ready, they sat down in silence—comfortable silence, while eating.
It was silent until Kkuma woke up and barked, wanting to sit with her dad, Seungcheol.
Seungcheol chuckled and picked Kkuma up so she could sit beside him. But Kkuma gave Jeonghan a side eye. Kkuma doesn't really like jeonghan, but these past few weeks, she has kind of been more welcome to him. You know...typical dogs being jealous of their owners' partner.
But there was this one time when Seungcheol had a schedule with the other members, and Jeonghan stayed at his place.
Jeonghan was just watching a sad K-Drama, and yes, he cried.
Kkuma heard Jeonghan cry and went onto the couch and looked at him with curious eyes.
Kkuma went closer to Jeonghan and snuggled into him, the first time she has ever wanted to be this near to him.
Jeonghan smiled and gently pet her. But after that, Kkuma went back to her normal self. Tsundere dog or some shit man.
————————————
Jeonghan and Seungcheol decided to go on a little date, at a restaurant they frequently go to, and far away from the paparazzi they usually receive.
It was a steakhouse, a VERY fancy one to be exact. Who was paying? Who else, of course, Seungcheol was.
Always remember what Jeonghan said, "Coups-ya, be a man and buy this for me,"
While they were eating, Seungcheol's eyes were fixated on the other. Taking in Jeonghan's bare but still unbelievably beautiful face.
"Are you going to keep on staring at me and not eat your food, Cherry?" The man that's frequently associated with angels said, teasingly.
"Can't a guy just admire his boyfriend peacefully?" The Cherry in question replied with a pout on his face, making Jeonghan chuckle.
"I guess the guy can," Jeonghan smiled.
"Can I have a sip of your water?"
"Go on, you don't even need to ask for permission, love."
Jeonghan ordered a vanilla latte, and Seungcheol ordered a water. Yes, Jeonghan likes vanilla latte, he likes it very much. It's even in his top 3 most favorite drinks. He just wanted to taste some water after drinking a whole glass of that.
But after that they did eventually get a bit tipsy ibecause they drank.
"Seungcheol-ahh, let's run around like little kids!" Jeonghan shook Seungcheol by his arm. Okay, maybe the only tipsy one is Seungcheol, Jeonghan is just straight up drunk.
"You really wanna do that, Hannie?" Seungcheol gently asked as he played with the other's hair.
Jeonghan nodded to Seungcheol's question.
"Yes!!! Please?"
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes."
"Are you super duper sure?"
"Yessss."
"Are you sure you won't whine and say that your feet hurt after 3 minutes of walking and jumping?"
"...I'm not sure about that part. But I guess,"
Seungcheol smiled, "Alright then, let's go."
Eventually, they went home and Jeonghan immediately fell asleep. Why, you may ask? Because he felt so tired. Very accurate to what Seungcheol had expected.
As the sun rose, Seungcheol woke up first. He saw Jeonghan's sleeping position was quite...questionable. he was about to fall off the bed.
Seungcheol gently repositioned Jeonghan so he would be in a much more safer position, and gently covered him with a blanket before starting his day.
He went and took a shower, and made breakfast—pancakes and waffles to be exact. While he waited for the waffles to be ready to pick up and eat, he felt two arms wrapping around his waist. And he immediately knew who it was.
"Good morning, Angel," Seungcheol greeted.
"Good morning, handsomee~" Jeonghan happily said. Seems like someone is in a good mood today. Or he's still drunk. The only two possible answers.
They enjoyed the domestic moment—the comfortable silence, the light from the sun gently bathing the kitchen. It looked like a scene from a movie.
Seungcheol gently took the waffles off of the waffle iron and pleaced them on the plate, joining the pancakes that were already placed earlier.
He grabbed a glass and filled it with water, so Jeonghan wouldn't get dehydrated.
He turned around and picked Jeonghan up to sit him down on the couch.
Seungcheol slowly fed Jeonghan bite-sized pieces of the food, and occasionally held up the glass of water for Jeonghan so it would be easier for him to drink.
They continued on their day together, before Jeonghan had to go gome to prepare for work tomorrow.
Tons of people have a house, but not all houses are ‘home’. Somewhere, or, someone they can go to and feel the comfort they need and deserve.
And they are very glad they have met eachother in this life, to be eachother's home. Eachother's comfort space.
And they hope they can forever be eachother's home, until death do them apart.
