Work Text:
Tommen has a friend who lives inside his bedroom walls.
These days she's smaller than him, but when they first met, she used to be taller. For a while, Tommen thought she was shrinking, but when he told her, Rhaenys giggled and said she wasn't shrinking, it was just that he was the one growing up while she stayed the same. Her skin is dark, but her eyes are bright. Before, he thought her eyes were blue like his father's, but now he could clearly see that they were a shade of violet.
When he told his mother about his friend, she ignored him, and Joffrey called him a liar and pinched him. After that, he didn't talk to anyone else about her, but it wasn't so bad. In some ways, it was nice to have someone who was his friend because of him, and not because he was someone's son, grandson, or brother.
Rhaenys loves kittens just like he does. She says she thinks her white kitten was killed just like Joffrey killed one of his. She's looked for her lost kitten everywhere but wasn’t able to find it anywhere. Tommen says that until she finds, he'll let her keep playing with his.
