Chapter one: Come Crawling Faster
Steve Harrington was going through Eddie's trailer when he found a cassette tape that had ‘for harrington’ scribbled on the top Steve couldn't hold it back anymore and proceeded to sob.
One day later
Steve harrington laid there walkman in hand headphones on sobbing. The song playing was master of puppets by metallica when he heard a weak knock at the door. Steve wipes his eyes and puts the walkman on his waistband and answers it. He was shocked at what he saw. It was Eddie, Bleeding a good bit.
Eddie mumbles weakly ‘’sorry i'm late sweetheart….. y-your place is so hard to find’’ Eddie then collapses into Steve's arms and Steve lays Eddie down and grabs the first aid kit proceeding to stitch up eddie. Eddie grumbles softly “i think i needa bandaid,’’ Eddie mutters trying to make steve laugh.
‘’Im sorry im sorry im sorry’’ Steve repeats as he stitches Eddie up Steve then bandages Eddie and bandages the other wounds that didn't need stitching.
Eddie looks up at Steve and proclaims,‘’relax. Im okay’’
Steve nods softly ‘’ok sorry’’ Steve sits down.
Eddie starts to attempt to sit up and steve quickly helps him ‘’easy,’’
Eddie grunts. ‘’Okay geez, Mommmmm,’’ Eddie sarcastically replies.
Steve chuckles a lil and Eddie smiles slightly. “So umm how are you uhh alive?’’ steve questions and eddie looks at steve ‘’oh i umm passed out from blood loss-’’
‘’oh- well then how did you last this long?’’
Eddie shugs ‘’I guess something to do with the upside down being set in the past? I don't know man’’ Steve nods. Steve stops his walkman and takes out the tape. Eddie blushes ‘’you found it’’
steve nods ‘’yeah-’’
Eddie looks at steve awkward “soooo…you like it?’’ steve nods and smiles “yeah i do,’’
Eddie grins “that's awesome’’ Steve nods. ‘’Ah shit I should call the others’’ says Steve going over to his phone on the wall starting to call dustin.
‘’Wait-’’ says eddie who is sitting there in just a bra, their wounds all bandaged ‘’yeah?’’ says Steve looking away from the phone.
‘’Can I have a shirt?’’Steve nods and tosses Eddie a shirt. ‘’Thanks’’ says eddie awkward
‘’Of course man’’ says Steve then goes back to the phone.
‘’Wait-’’ says eddie. Steve sighs and looks over at eddie ‘’yeah?’’ ‘’how do u feel about this?’’
Steve says ‘’feel about what-’’
‘’me wearing a bra……’’ Eddie murmurs.
‘’Oh yeah that.’’ Steve chuckles ‘’nothing wrong with it’’ Steve states simply. Eddie smiles and steve goes back to the phone and calls dustin: ‘’hey dustin get down here.’’
‘’Why?’’ Dustin is sitting in his room on his bed sad having zero motivation.
‘’Trust me’’ Steve sternly states.
‘’Ok fine, i'll be there’’ Dustin sighs and hangs up the phone grabbing his jacket and bike and going off to Steve's house.
Steve hangs up the phone. ‘’Ok dustins coming’’ steve smiles and sits down
‘’ok’’ eddie smiles ‘’can't wait to see him, oh also u gave me a crop top’’ says eddie.
Steve looks at the shirt ‘’oh’’ steve blushes ‘’you want something else?’’
eddie shakes their head ‘’nah i like it’’
Steve nods ‘’ok’’ he looks embarrassed. Eddie and steves faces are really close and there's a knock and Steve goes and answers it. Its dustin and dustin looks at steve ‘’what did u want?’’
‘’Someone wants you’’ says Steve and moves out of the way so Eddie is visible. Dustin's face lights up and he runs over to Eddie and gently hugs Eddie and cries happy tears. Eddie smiles, ‘’hey henderson.’’
Steve smiles ‘’we should tell the others’’ Eddie smiles and all Steve can think is ‘why does Eddie have fangs?’

The next morning Steve wakes up to see Eddie laying next to him instead of being in the guest room. Steve pokes eddies face, eddie wakes up ‘’what?’’ eddie grumbles
‘’Why are you next to me?’’ says steve.
Eddie looks around, ‘’oh i uhh couldn't sleep sorry…”
‘’It's ok,’’ Steve says and smiles softly.
Eddie blushes, ‘’so.’’
‘’Hm?’’ says steve.
Eddie shrugs a tiny bit. “What do we do now….? I'm still wanted by the police.’’
‘’Yeah you're right…umm,’’ steve thinks, ‘’hide for now.’’
Eddie nods and seems tense ‘’hey harrington?’’ Eddie says hesitantly.
‘’Yeah?’’ Steve replies.
‘’You smell really good….’’ says eddie.
‘’umm …thank you?’’ says Steve and looks a lil confused.
Eddie looks down. They could hear Steve's heart is thumping in his chest as if It was right against them. Eddie gets dizzy feeling as if the room is spinning and holds their head.
‘’Eddie??’’ steve panics.
‘’Just dizzy…don’ worry bout me…’’ Eddie mumbles.
‘’Well i am gonna worry about you so deal with it, did you bump your head?’’ Steve questions and Eddie shakes their head a lil bit.
‘’Well why are you dizzy then?’’ Steve asks. ‘’I dont know maybe its that your fuckin heart sounds like its right in my damn ear??!!’’ eddie yells.
Steve goes quiet ‘’it what…?’’
‘’Nevermind-’’ Eddie mutters.
“No eddie tell me,’’ steve says sounding serious, ‘’What do you mean by my heart is beating that loud…?’’
“I mean what i say stevie,’’ eddie mutters.
‘’Umm okay,’’ says steve.
‘’Its not so loud anymore…I'm fine,’’ says eddie.
‘’Okay whatever you say,’’ says steve.
Eddie nods their palm on their chin nibbling at their nails.
“I'll make some breakfast,’’ says steve getting up, ‘’you need anything else eds?’’
Eddie shakes their head a little, still biting their nails nervously.
“Okay, we're gonna have to change those bandages kinda soon though,’’ says steve.
Eddie cringes, ‘’okay.’’
“You’ll be okay, ill be in the kitchen if you need me,’’ Steve goes into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Eddie rocks back and forth slightly, being lost in their thoughts. Am I a vampire? This can't be happening no no no. Steve comes back in for what feels like to Eddie for a second, Eddie flinches.
“Hey eds,’’ says steve ‘’i made some food.’’
‘’How…it's only been like a second-’’ Eddie says, confused.
‘’no ..its been 20 minutes,’’ steve says, ‘’you okay eddie?’’
Eddie nods ‘’yeah sorry- musta spaced out.’’
‘’Oh its ok,’ says steve and goes over to eddie “you need some help getting up?’’ Eddie shrugs a little and gets up slowly and winces, Steve supports Eddie a bit. ‘’Ok im good’’ says Eddie and smiles a little. Steve gently holds Eddie's hand ‘’okay buddy.’’ says Steve as he walks into the kitchen with eddie. Eddie blushes softly.
“The others are coming over sometime today,’’ says Steve, placing the bacon, eggs, and toast onto a plate.
“Oh cool,’’ says Eddie, picking up the plate once it's ready.
Steve smiles a bit and helps Eddie sit, ‘’I'm fine big boy,’’ Eddie says and Steve chuckles a bit, ‘’okay whatever you say.”
Eddie eats their food a little bit poking at it with their fork some, ‘’hey harrington?’’ says Eddie and looks up.
Steve looks up from their own plate, ‘’yes?’’
‘’Would you be uhhh uncomfortable if i liked dudes….’’ Eddie looks stressed.
‘’No of course not,’’ says steve and chuckles kinda awkward ‘’i'm not one a those guys that's like ‘’oh do u have a crush on me huh?’’
Eddie looks back down at their food ‘’yup-’’ they bite their lip.
‘’What's wrong?’’ says Steve and looks at eddie.
‘’Well uhh here's the thing…’’ Eddie trails off, ‘’know what nevermind,’’ they shake their head and take a bite of their food.
“No you can tell me man,’’ says Steve and smiles softly.
Eddie looks up at him, ‘’I like you…a lot.’’
Steve sits there taking it in, “you're joking,’’ “Well this is awkward,’’ says Steve and chuckles a bit awkwardly.
“Yeah it is,’’ Eddie chuckles awkwardly.
Steve looks down at his food and eats some more, ‘’so Eds? What did you wanna say but stopped?”
“Well erm….i uhh,” eddie stammers, “i still have a huge crush on you..i was thinking….maybe if ya umm wanna be my boyfriend-’’
Steve blinks slow ‘’umm…’’
Eddie feels a pang of guilt like they shouldn't have said anything.
‘’I would love to,’’ Steve says and smiles softly.
Eddie looks up and smiles ‘’yay,’’ Eddie giggles softly and smiles
“Can i kiss you?’’ eddie asks, steve nods and eddie pulls steve in and they kiss eddie can feel Steve’s heart rate spike and steve's blood flowing, “you smell so gooddddd,” eddie smirks.steve chuckles a bit
“Can I ask you something eddie?” says Steve and Eddie nod, “are you a vampire?”
Eddie goes quiet, “um…i think so…”
“I should call Henderson,” Eddie gets up kinda shaky and Steve quickly helps him.
Eddie goes to the phone and calls Dustin, “pick up, come on,’’ there's a brief pause and then eddie says “you need to come down
here,’’ there's another pause and eddie says ‘’its important man, i think imma vampire.”
