Chapter Text
Shuumei Sasaki was known as the college heartthrob. Why you may ask? Because of his bad-boy looks, cold personality, and handsome face. Even though he is the college heartthrob no one really knows him that well.
Well, Tomoiko Sada decides she wants to change that. She thinks she’s arguably the hottest girl in the college so she should by all means have the best guy. She’s thankful that she has business class with him.
Tomoiko struts over to Sasaki who is listening to music, not caring about the jealous looks she’s getting or the confused looks Sasaki’s friends are sending her. “Sasaki!”
He pulls out one headphone, “Hm? Need something?”
She sits next to him and leans into his personal space. Sasaki leans back uncomfortably, Tomoiko doesn’t notice, too focused on her mission.
“Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go to my favorite coffee shop with me.” She asks, causing a bunch of guys to glare at him in jealousy.
Sasaki looks at her in confusion, “I have never talked to you nor are we partners for an assignment. Why would I want to go with you?”
Tomoiko’s mouth gapes open like a fish, he just rejected her…Her?! She slams her hand on the table then shouts, “Fine whatever!” She storms away in embarrassment, how come he rejected her? She is the best around.
When she finally leaves the room one of his friends Sora turns to him in shock, “Dude why the hell did you reject Tomoiko Sada?! She is hot as fuck! And she was the one to ask you out!”
Sasaki looks up from his phone again and notices his friends’ faces. ‘Why are they shocked?’ He thinks trying to wrap his brain around everything.
Sora groans, “Why are you looking at me like I’m the stupid one? You just rejected the hottest girl at this school!”
“Why would I want her?”
Sora just stares at him in shock for a while before answering, “Because you are single and she is hot. I also heard she’s really sweet.”
Sasaki finally understands.
He looks at Sora before saying, “I’m not single. I have the most amazing partner who I love more than life itself.”
The room stills because, of course, they were listening. Sasaki goes back to listening to music not caring how others react or say.
Sora finally snaps out of it, “What?!”
