   In canon, Dorian Pavus escapes a religious institution and is finally found “in a drunken stupor in a house of ill repute in the elven slums”. It is where he originally met Alexius and became his protégé. This fic takes place years before the events of Inquisition. It is an AU featuring a much younger Dorian and an Amheotil Lavellan whose life turned out much differently than it did in his main Inquisition storyline.
