Going to a skate park was all Satsuki’s idea. He said he wanted to show you and maybe teach you some tricks too. At first you declined, saying that it’s not something you like doing. When in actuality you were just scared of falling down and splatting your face smack down on the concrete. You never skated before but seeing the look on his face, those pleading eyes, you couldn’t help but give in. Begrudgingly agreeing to his whims as Satsuki brought you over to the nearby skate park.
Somehow he had all the equipment for skating, enough for two people. Skateboard, helmet, elbow and knee pads all in your size. Satsuki was beaming at you when he managed to get you to balance on the skateboard on your own.
“See? It’s not that hard!” Satsuki had his arms in the air, smiling at you.
“Yeah right. I haven’t even moved yet.” You scowled at him slightly. “I’d like to see you try and do tricks, Satsuki.”
Satsuki grinned at you. “Easy!” He skated onto a half pipe standing at the top, glancing at you as he got ready to do some tricks or flips. Just as he rolled off the platform and was getting ready to do a flip, Satsuki stumbled and quite practically flung himself onto the floor.
“Ow, Owie.” Satsuki cradled his knee as you rushed over to him, crouching beside him. There was a bruise forming and turning purple on his knee.
“Let me see, Satsuki.” You pried his hands away from his knee as you inspected his injury.
“So not cool.” He pouted as you fussed over him. He wanted to be cool, show off some impressive tricks to you and maybe make you stare in awe at him. But he messed that up by unceremoniously falling off and now he had a big boo boo with you fussing over him like a kid.
What he didn’t expect was when a soft quick peck landed on his lips, effectively shutting his thoughts up. “Nah, I still think you’re cool.” You giggled at him, trying to placate him. Satsuki just turned a shade red.
