Summary:

Niran leaves without Nocturna noticing as he tries to find the one person he was looking for; the Ice Princess

Notes:

DAY THREE OF SYMWEAVER WEEK 2025!! This one is also kinda rushed, I've been in a writers block. But please enjoy it :)

Work Text:

"Today was so perfect, those heart heroes don't know whats gonna come next." The small Korean woman went on a ramble with the Thai man by her side.

"Oh, I'm sure. Though I don't think I'll be able to save you again next time." he jokingly said.

She rolled her eyes, "Please, Niran. You work for me now, you gotta save me."

Niran slightly chuckled, "Of course, whatever you say, Hana."

He walked away, heading into the garden. He had a plan of his own that he couldn't tell Nocturna just yet. It was mostly one that would benefit him, though—it could benefit them in defeating the Heroes of Heart.

Niran went towards the rose bush, behind it was where he kept his plan. Pictures of the woman he was searching for, tabs on all the things she's been up to these last few weeks. Seemed stalkerish, but if he was caught. Niran would just say it's for research purposes.

Oh, how beautiful was the ice princess. How could anyone ignore this majestic being? If Nocturna knew his intentions with finding the ice princess, he'd probably get kicked off the team. Who made up the rule that a lowly henchman couldn't love? Not all villains are heartless. Niran certainly wasn't one of them.

He took the book and headed out of the garden. Niran was going to search for the ice princess and see her in person this time, different from all the times he watched her from afar. As long as he doesn't mention too much, he won't appear creepy.

Following the data he had on her, he managed to piece the puzzle pieces together to figure out where she'd be. The places she goes and the daily tasks she does. It followed a pattern Niran was able to decipher.

Though he hoped his predictions were correct and he'd find her here on this hill. That she would show up here.

Niran leaned against a tree at the bottom of the hill and sighed, he needed to meet her quickly before Nocturna notices he's disappeared. He looked towards the afternoon sky, noticing the shape of the clouds. His thoughts trailed away from his actual goal eventually as he appriciated the nature of this world.

So much so as he didn't notice the person that stood beside him, his mind came back to reality after he heard someone clear their throat. He looked back down to see the short woman next to him, seeing her familiar face.

Niran recognized that face.

"You're… the ice princess…" he whispered, though it was loud enough for her to hear.

"Yes…" she confirmed, but her voice seemed uninterested. "And you are?"

"Your biggest fan." Niran blurted, wasn't what he wanted to say but better than revealing all the info he had on her.

She raised a brow, skeptical of this man already. "A fan? I am not some celebrity people idolize." she turned to walk away but Niran grabbed her arm.

"Wait, I know it's weird but I've seen you work with the Heroes of Heart. It's great to see people do good for this world, that's something I want to achieve myself someday." Half a lie and half the truth. Niran was going to use his charm in wording to his advantage. It never failed him, not once.

She moved her arm away from his grasp, "Oh, I'm sure."

"It's true—"

"Even if it is, I'm not interested in giving autographs." she began walking away.

Niran frowned but he wasn't going to give up yet, he still had a few tricks up his sleeve to charm a woman. Next trick: Biolight flowers.

He used the energy from his glove to make a lotus flower, quickly heading towards the Ice Princess to walk by her side.

"If I may interest you with a flower?" Niran smiled awkwardly as he showed it to her, it luckily managed to interest her. He handed her to biolight lotus.

The princess examined the lotus flower, she could tell it wasn't like a normal flower. "Where did you get this?"

"I made it." He confidently said.

She stopped walking and looked at him, "You made it?" her skepticism still hasn't died down. "Show me how you've made it."

Niran nodded and charged up the biolight energy in his glove, the pink glow emitting from it as another lotus flower began to form. The Ice Princess was intrigued by this discovery, it was… fascinating.

"And that's how I made it." Niran gave her the second lotus.

She looked at the lotuses before looking at him. "This… what is this?"

"Biolight, I invented it myself."

"It looks similar to another form of light, like the kind I use."

"Oh really?" Niran snapped his fingers and the lotus flowers disintegrated into light-like dust. "Hard light I presume?"

Her eyes widened, "How did you…—"

"That's the structure I built my biolight off of, why don't you show me your hard light, princess?"

Niran was only calling her that since he didn't know her name yet, it's when she realized she hadn't told him. Being called princess by a stranger felt off.

"Don't call me that, just call me by my name; Satya."

"Mine's Niran." he smiles. "So, Satya. Will you show me your light now?"

"Unfortunately I can't do much at the moment, but I could do this."

The palm of her prosthetic began to luminate as she used her other hand to form a large snowflake. "With perfect precision, a symmetrical snowflake."

Fascinated by this, "Can I touch it?"

"No." she broke the snowflake.

"Aw." he watched her walk away again, he still wasn't going to give up. Either do something extravagant, or let her go.

But time was ticking, Nocturna probably realized he was gone already. It was time to go through with the extravagant route. Niran didn't care about it anymore, he needed her on his side to bring her to the Hollow Hearts (and probably have her for himself).

Try not to be weird about this Niran, looks don't always succeed but how could anyone not fall for this charm?

He did his best to recreate a ring using his biolight, he usually made different types of flowers with it but never an inanimate object. Though improvising by making a flower stem and forming it into a ring worked well enough.

He then headed towards Satya and quickly went in front of her. She stopped in order to not bump into him but she was confused. "What is it n—"

"Please marry me." Niran interrupted her and held the biolight ring in his hand.

Satya blinked a few times in disbelief and confusion. Everything about him was getting weirder and weirder, and now a marriage proposal? She honestly didn't know what to say as Niran awaited a response.

"I… you can't just make a proposal like that to someone you just met, Niran." she finally spoke.

Niran threw away the biolight ring, "I know, but it caught your attention." he smiles. "I want you to come with me, there's something I need you for. I can't contact the other Heroes of Hearts to help, so I found you." Lies, lies, and more lies. But his charm was working.

She sighed, "Fine, I'll help you. As long as you don't do… this again." she reluctantly agreed to help him out.

Niran's smile grew, "Perfect, trust me. You're going to be a great help."

A great help, indeed.

The Ice Princess was now part of the Hollow Hearts against her will.
