“So, wait… did you got the role?!” Dylan exclaimed, looking at Charlie with an expression of happiness.
”YEAH! Chase Hollow is mine, dude!” Charlie responded, looking at his phone where the email was.
”Deacon and Chase Hollow, you mean!” Dylan said, nudging Charlie’s arm playfully.
”I can’t believe we both got the roles we auditioned for!”
”That’s simply how good we are,” Dylan chuckles a little. “How about Nico? You both auditioned at the same time, right? Did he got the role?”
”I didn’t ask him… I’ll call him, give me a second.”
Charlie got out of the app where the email was and entered the Phone app, looking for Nico’s number. Nico was his boyfriend, they’ve been dating for four years and were basically each other’s support. Charlie’s dream was always to become an actor, and he became one! But he wasn’t as famous as other celebrities out there… he didn’t mind that, he was happy as he was, but he also wanted to experience that fame. Not because Charlie was narcissistic or selfish, of course not; but he wanted to go to interviews and conventions and experience all that!
Nico, on the other hand, preferred to support his boyfriend behind cameras. He was always there for Charlie when he got the roles for series or movies, but he never in his life thought about auditioning. That was… until Charlie convinced him to audition for Nox, a character from a new series called ‘Cinderella Boy’. Nico wasn’t sure if he wanted that at first, but he decided to try it out!
”Hey, babe! Did you got the role?” Charlie responded when Nico answered the call.
”Hmm… I don’t know… try to guess!” Nico said from the other side of the line, with a mischevous tone.
”Ugh. I hate guessing! Can’t you tell me?”
”Alright! Yeah, I got it. I’m going to be your nemesis, haha!”
”You’re kidding! Seriously?!”
”Yep! See you in the studio in two weeks!” With that, Nico hang the call.
”Oh my God, yes! We did it, dorkin! We got a new job once again!” Charlie exclaimed, jumping around the room out of excitement.
”Woohoo!” Dylan said, understanding Charlie’s emotion.
