Chapter Text
Tic. Toc. Tic. Toc. Her arms spun round and round without end, her life going in a circle. But one time of day was her greatest delight. The time of day when she would end the students’ plight. For 14:30 was the time of their release. Her arms would open the doors for them. Her spinning, like the spinning of bus wheels. And then she was alone, alone with the staff; the teachers, and the janitors. 14:31, 14:32, 14:33 . . . . . 16:55, 16:56, 16:57. On and on till the days end. On and on forever.
