Chapter 1: denki kaminari really hates rescue simulations

Chapter Text

Katsuki’s gaze flittered across the training room where all of 3-A were currently going through more rescue procedures. Not that they needed it. The class they were currently taking felt more like hanging out as friends and classmates rather than a space for learning. The teenagers were basically doing hero activities to sooth their restless jitters they all had acquired after their first year at UA.

Two years have passed the fall of All For One and the retirement of All Might. The end of the war. All Might’s ultimate battle with his respective counterpart was a memory that always replayed in Katsuki’s head, considering he was one of very few people that knew the truth of how All Might was able to take down All For One with half his power. Driven green eyes popped into Katsuki’s head instantly.

Midoriya Izuku.

Slight sadness tugs on something within Katsuki as he says his name in his head. It’s been two years since he’s seen his childhood friend-turned-lover. Three years since Deku became All Might’s predecessor. Four since they started dating.

Deku confessed sometime after the sludge monster incident having taken advice from his mentor. It took Katsuki too long, in his opinion, to return the feeling. Deku had taken him to Dagobah Beach after clearing it, going against All Might’s wishes to keep the truth of his power a secret.

I owe All Might everything… But you, Kacchan… I owe you the truth.

Learning about One For All, Deku’s feelings, and the war that was brewing secretly before them was a lot for the hot-headed blonde. He really wanted to blast the nerd into the ocean for dumping all of that on him at once, but then again, no matter how Deku told him all of that information he would’ve blasted him anyway.

It took a couple of weeks of pathetic longing looks from Deku, a random sex dream that had him spiralling for at least three days, and a few peeks at his exclusive All Might trading card he’s had for a decade to be able to finally decide.

If the damn nerd wanted him to be at his side to help their childhood hero win this war against the quirk-festished freak, he’d be damned to hell he wouldn’t be the best boyfriend and hero partner.

So, after accepting Izuku’s feelings, Katsuki laid into All Might to use Deku and his freaky analyst brain to its full potential.

“If you chose the nerd personally it’s because you fuckin’ believed in him, right? How ‘bout using that damn brain of his to bring this McGreedy Quirk fuck down? Dunno how he does it, but you’d be a fuckin’ moron to pass up on that intelligence of his.”

“K-kacchan! You can’t be so forward to All Might!...” Sweat dropped down Deku’s forehead as he reprimanded his lover.

“Whatever. If he wants to pussyfoot around his best asset in this war and not take this seriously, then that’s on him.”

“…you think I’m his best asset?”

“Deku. You were literally handpicked. You couldn’t be more of a show dog among runts.” Katsuki rolled his eyes. “If we’re gonna date, you need to know that If I’m gonna be the best, I need to date the best, got that, freckles?”

“Ah! Of course! Sorry Kacchan!” But the loving smile and tainted pink cheeks on Deku’s face betrayed his apologetic tone.

After quick consideration, All Might and Deku begun consulting and brainstorming strategies to get the upper hand on All For One. While Katsuki entered his first year in the hero course at UA, All Might and Nezu personally trained and taught Deku, setting him up in the shadows of the hero commission as they staged intel missions, securing moles within the League of Villains, and worked with more underground heroes to deter public spotlight.

Katsuki peered over to where his homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta, was watching over the third group of the day perform their rescue operation. Aizawa was one of the main underground heroes that joined the war, using his Erasure quirk to nullify the hands of villains trying to kill the number one hero. Knowing Aizawa was collaborating closely with his boyfriend kept his mind calm and his heart beating.

“Oi teach… can you give this to the nerd? He left it at his house; Auntie gave me an earful over the phone.”
“Did the nerd mention being off comms for the weekend…? He- uh he hasn’t answered me today.”
“Do y’think you could have your loudass husband sign this for me? I’m making something for our anniversary.”

After relentlessly working on the takedown of All For One, All Might succeeded in ending the war, bringing justice to those terrorised by the League of Villains and setting up a proper organisation that focuses on rehabilitation and guidance for those who felt burdened by their own quirk. All thanks to his childhood best friend, the world’s greatest hero and boyfriend, was All Might able to end the war.

Shortly after the nation-wide celebration did All Might announce his retirement as a hero. Even more shortly after his retirement announcement did All Might also make a public statement saying that with the help of his predecessor was, he able to achieve what he has today. Now that peace was achieved, the people of Japan needed a new type of hero. An improved symbol to honour what was achieved.

A Symbol of Hope.

“He reintroduced me to what heroism really is. Before my eyes, a quirkless boy with a heart driven to reach out to every and any person in need. He is what reminded me, that with a smile on my face, I’d be able to achieve what my heart has desired since my beginning as a hero; Peace.” All Might’s real body was broadcasted all over Japan. The truth of his power. The truth of his quirk. “As I lay the Symbol of Peace to rest, I now introduce you my protegee, Midoriya Izuku, as he adopts the embers of One For All and continues a different legacy. A legacy not in the name of those before him, but after him. A legacy for you.”

It was the end of their first year when Deku told him he’d be on a five-year international training plan. An arrangement for him to train for a couple of weeks under different Number One Heroes in a multitude of countries now that he had accepted All Might’s power. It was a killer fuckin’ system that would for sure put Deku on top of not only the Japan charts, but within charts worldwide. Katsuki would have had to be a righteous selfish asshole to keep his boyfriend from that. After all, the Bakugou Katsuki only dates the best.

Katsuki let out a heavy sigh, mentally kicking himself for being distracted by missing his boyfriend. He’s acting like a damn preschooler with a crush. Deku would feel guilty leaving. Katsuki would feel guilty making Deku feel guilty. Vicious endless cycle. They’ve been there before.

“Thinking of loverboy, oh Great Explosion Murder God?”

"Eat shit.”

“That wasn’t a no.”

With a sigh, Katsuki looks to his side to the only other student who knows the truth as well.

Shinsou Hitoshi

Adopted son of Pro-Heroes Present Mic and Eraserhead. The same Pro-Hero who was coworkers with Katsuki’s boyfriend. Talk about a headache.

Of course, the public knows that ‘Midoriya Izuku’ is All Might’s protegee. But only a handful of people, most of them being within the walls of UA, know that Deku orchestrated most of the plan… and that he was Katsuki’s boyfriend.

Hitoshi lazily raised an eyebrow, but there was a slight hint of concern as he stared Katsuki down.

“M’fine eyebags,” Katsuki grumbled then sighed, pushing a palm into his eye. “Just tired, and I’m missing the nerd a bit more than usual today.”

“Rare for you to admit that so easily. I was betting on having to prod at you a couple more times.”

“Not feelin’ like supressing it today. Is a cuddle and a kiss so fuckin’ hard to ask for.” Katsuki grumbled, making the purple-haired student roll his eyes, amused. Katsuki nor Hitoshi have talked to the nerd in nearly three months.

“You’re not the only one sick of supressing their feelings. Eijirou’s tail has been wagging for however long Mina’s been talking to him.” Hitoshi snorted, nodding over to where the two mentioned were currently engaged in a very enthusiastic conversation. Eijirou nodding along, smiling brightly to whatever tangent Mina was on. The soft, love-struck expression on Ei’s face making Katsuki frown.

Fuck. He really missed Deku. Katsuki watched on as the pair conversed, the adoration on his best friend’s face making him glow a little bit brighter. Which was somehow possible. A soft tingle of jealousy coursed throughout Katsuki’s body. He wanted Deku here. He wanted to look at Deku like that. He wanted his nerd in front of him- babbling about whatever hero he met and how cool and versatile their quirk is- to have the ability to caress his boyfriend’s freckled cheeks, to thumb at the peach pink lips that frame his mouth. To hold his boyfriend close. Just the two of them.

“How long until he asks her out?”

“Are you kidding me,” Katsuki chuffs “Shitty Hair’s been waiting for Pinky to make the first move. Something about wantin’ to be chivalrous and go along with her terms.”

“Yeah, right. Cause dating has totally been on Mina’s mind.”

“I don’t think dating was on anyone’s mind until recently.” Katsuki added, with the threat of All For One during their first year and then catching up to proper hero studies in their second year, it’s been hard for any of the students to really focus on having a normal teenaged experience. This year, however, was the first time they had been able to feel like real teenagers. Tails and Invisigirl got caught making out in the dorm storage closet. Birdbrain and that Frog chick have been seen going out together on multiple occasions. “Did y’see that shadow fuck got caught sneaking after morning pills into the B dorms?”

“Oh yeah. Nei sent me a video of Vlad absolutely losing his shit.” Hitoshi’s eyes brightened with devious mischief. “Did you hear Mei stripped Tenya in front of her entire support class to showcase her new line of protective hero underwear? He was wearing a thong.

“Fuck off!”

The two cackled, continuing to gossip and catch up. Finally relaxing as for the first time in a long while they felt like normal everyday teenagers.

Hanta exhaled as he lowered the last training dummy to Tsu, finishing off the last component of their training rescue operation. He dropped down next to the rest of his team, Kyoka and Denki.

“Good work. Solid teamwork throughout the simulation and all survivors accounted for.” Aizawa nodded, satisfied, dismissing the group for the rest of the period. He walked off, preparing another group for the training simulator.

“Hell yeah! Aizawa seems to be in a good mood today.” Denki grins, falling into a peppy stride next to the tape hero.

“Nah, I saw him restraining Kats this morning, I think we were just that good, bro.” Hanta smirks, elbowing his friend.

“I agree our team synergy was pretty high, kero.” Tsu nodded “That sim felt pretty breezy doing it with you guys.”

“Aww Tsu-Chan!” Denki cooed, laughing as Tsu seemed to turn pink under her confession. “You’re so cool for being so upfront about it.”

“Explains how you confessed to Fumikage.” Kyoka nodded, impressed.

“What! You two are dating?” Denki exclaimed, stopping in his tracks.

Tsu nodded, lifting a finger to her lips in consideration.

“It’s fairly new. We had a similar patrol route, and we’ve had these feelings brewing since first year really.” Tsu thought about it, shrugging. “For some reason, time seemed to really slow down in that moment. I felt like I could finally be honest about how I feel about him.”

“Woah.” Denki’s eyes were shining with respect. “Teach me your ways.”

As the group continued to converse, Hanta’s eyes glanced over the top of Denki’s head, to a certain explosive student conversing with the one and only Shinsou Hitoshi. Subject of most of Denki’s love-induced rants and hormonal dreams.

Hanta blinks as he watches Hitoshi and Katsuki talk briefly, Katsuki’s expression looking so… forlorn…

Bakugou Katsuki has two expressions- pissed off and even more pissed off. In the three years Hanta’s known Katsuki he could count on one hand the number of times his friend has shown a slither of a different emotion. This time being the first one.

Katsuki doesn’t make puppy eyes. He absolutely doesn’t bite his bottom lip looking all heartbroken and dejected.

Hanta follows Katsuki’s gaze across the room only to land on… Eijirou?

Specifically, Eijirou talking to Mina.

Hanta blinks a couple more times. Going back and forth between his other two closest friends. Does Katsuki… like Eijirou?

He watches as Katsuki’s eyebrows furrow, his lips pursed, his jaw clenched, taking in the pink-skinned girl and the red-haired boy. Katsuki sighed, shaking his head as he looks away, his discouraged gaze landing on Hitoshi, who in turn, put a comforting hand on Katsuki’s shoulder.

Holy shit. Katsuki was… jealous?

Holy shit. Katsuki liked Eijirou.

Holy shit.

~x~

“Aww man. If only I had your courage, Tsu-chan. You make it look so effortless.” Denki pouted a little bit. Tsu nodded, offering the electrical hero a pat on the back.

After their brief conversation, Tsu and Kyoka left the two boys to join the group of hero class girls in a friendly game of hide the villain.

“Hey, Hanta, maybe if we’re both single by thirty we can just marry each other.” Half-joking, Denki at least expected a laugh or a hard pass to his pessimistic joke, maybe even a slither of concern, you know- like a friend. Hearing no response at all, Denki grumbled and looked at his soon to be ex-friend “Hanta?”

Obsidian eyes snapped to his, wide with shock, mouth opening and closing. “Uh…”

“Woah, dude- you alright?” Denki furrowed his eyebrows, wary.

“Bro. Look over at Kats and Toshi.”

Denki followed his gaze over to where the Katsuki and Hitoshi were standing close to each other. Too close for Denki’s liking. Denki frowned, taking them in. He watched as Hitoshi threw back his head in amusement, a silent laugh shaking his shoulders. Katsuki smirked, rolling his eyes before leaning in even closer to say another thing. Hitoshi covered his mouth nodding, pulling Katsuki’s shoulder to the side so he could whisper in the blonde’s ear. Katsuki’s eyes widened, snapping to Hitoshi’s. His lips turned upwards, tongue poking at his teeth.

Denki’s stomach dropped as he took in the two-acting friendly- well more than friendly. Standing close. Sharing whispers. Laughs directed at God knows what. Moments shared between just the two of them.

“Oh…” Denki whispered.

“Bro…” Hanta’s eyes found Denki’s. “Before that, bro dude, I’m telling you. Katsuki was looking at Ei.”

“Well, he sure looks pretty chummy with Toshi.” Denki huffed out, his cheeks feeling warmer than usual. He should’ve had the courage like Tsu. Talked to Toshi earlier. Because this feeling sucked.

“No, Denks, I’m telling you. Kats had this torn expression watching Ei and Mina talk. Bro looked heartbroken. I think Kats likes Ei.”

Denki furrowed his eyebrows, sceptically eyeing Hanta. “Doesn’t Ei like Mina?”

“Exactly! Kats loved Ei enough to let him go, bro. This is some like soap opera shit.” Hanta’s eyes were wide, and his head was bobbing frantically. “He has to be talking to Toshi to get over Ei."

Maybe we should set up Kats and Ei.

Shame tore through Denki instantly at the thought. He knew how much his red-haired friend liked Mina. He knew all about his admiration throughout middle school turned into infatuation during their first year. He knew Ei’s feelings and yet he still thought something that nasty. As much as he liked Toshi, if being with Katsuki made him happy, he could learn to live with that…possibly…maybe. He just thought… with the amount of progress Toshi has made since his transfer to the A class two years ago, that they’d been closer. Maybe it was only on his part.

Thoughts spiralling about his purple-haired crush had Denki’s mood plummeting.

“We should set them up.” … Huh? Denki’s eyes widened, mouth shooting open to protest. “Think about it Denks, it could work. Ei likes Mina, sure, but does Mina even like Ei?”

Denki thought about it.

Oh.

He looked over to where Ei and Mina were still talking. He could tell Ei was head over heels for the pink girl but analysing Mina… he wasn’t sure. Maybe he was holding a bias- genuinely wanting his friend to end up with the girl of his dreams that he blocked out all other possibilities of how his love life could end. If Mina didn't like Ei back, he'd be devastated!

Denki’s eyes sharpened, glancing back at Hanta who had an ‘Amirite’ expression adorned proudly.

“I’ll talk to Kyoka.”

~x~

Ei was having a pretty rad-tastic day.

His training simulation went well. He got a great workout sesh with Tetsu. And Mina was currently gushing about the new rehabilitation program at Ryuko’s Agency.

“Oh, Ei! You’d love it. All these tiny little toddlers coming out of their shell, actually learning how to be comfortable in their quirks. It’s too cute! Ocha and I were teaching some of the kids this new dance routine…” Ei grinned as he watched Mina perform a mini version of the mentioned dance routine with precise, skilful moves.

Man, she’s so cool.

“..And thennn! Ocha started floating some of the kids around- which, technically we’re not allowed to do, but Ei- their puppy dog eyes are better than Denks’ And-”

“Alright, everyone dismissed. Your last two periods have been cancelled as there’s an emergency teacher meeting with Nezu tonight.” Aizawa interrupted, gathering the attention of the class. A faint couple of snickers could be heard from the back of the room, but overall cheers erupted throughout the teens.

“Oh, shoot! I was hoping to ask Mount Lady a question for our social media assignment.” Mina cursed, looking around the room. “I need to go find Kyoka- sorry Ei! I’ll tell you more later!”

Eijirou nodded, waving her off. “No rush, I’ll come find you later.”

Mina beamed, shooting him a quick smile before rushing off to the locker rooms.

Ei stood where he was, pausing for just a moment to watch her leave.

“You look like an idiot staring after her.” A gruff but soft voice piped up from behind him.

“Bakubro!” Eijirou greeted his friend with a happy grin. “Whaddup, my man!”

Katsuki rolled his eyes, a corner of his lips turned upward. “How long are you gonna keep being a fuckin’ wimp for? Just ask her out already.”

Ei’s grin faltered slightly. “Well… it’s just,” He brought up a scarred hand to the back of his head. “Mina’s focused on her part in the rehabilitation program- the one with the kids they took in from her last mission. Ryuko says that it’s a big responsibility because a whole heap of these kids are nearing the end of preschool to mid junior school without even having been documented to the commission, but if Mina can help operate and manage the program, she could debut as a low-tier Pro.”

Katsuki’s eyebrows shot up to his hairline. “That’s fuckin’ nuts.” Skipping sidekick entirely to go to Pro-Hero is an insanely impressive feat. Katsuki himself was only a Sidekick right now. Which was still also just as impressive considering he hasn’t graduated yet.

“Right! And she was so excited to be able to make a difference for these kids, Kats… She’s just so driven and determined to be a hero- it’s inspiring, really, and I…” Ei let out a miserable chuckle.

“Don’t want to distract her.” Katsuki sighed, nodding in understanding. Boy doesn’t he.

“Yeah…” Ei pursed his lips. “It’s hard to read her sometimes y’know? It’s hard to tell if she’s genuinely interested in me like that, or if she’s just happy to be a hero talking to another hero, so I always grow scared of making a move.”

Ei sheepishly smiles, slightly embarrassed and Katsuki just stares at him for a little while before sighing.

“You’re a catch, Shitty Hair. If you want Raccoon Eyes to notice you, start doing some heroic type shit like her too. Lord knows that woman is capable of all sorts of shit. Pinky ain’t the type to need a prince charming. So, show her you can love her on her level. Be more than a boyfriend. Be a partner.” Katsuki shrugged as Eijirou gaped at his best friend. “Oi! What’s that fuckin’ look for?”

“Bro… you actually just gave me advice. Good advice. Good, nice, advice.” Eijirou gave Katsuki an incredulous look.

“Fuck you, troll head! I give good advice!” Katsuki spat, agitated already.

Eijirou laughed, taking his irritation lightly.

“Of course, no offence bro! Thanks for helping me out. You’re a real bro.”

“Say bro one more time I fuckin’ dare you.” Katsuki grumbled, rolling his eyes. “I’m only helping so you can finally shut the fuck up about her. Mina wore turquoise today- did you know that’s her favourite colour. Mina learnt this really cool new dance move, check it. Mina this, Mina that. Fuckin’ despicable.”

“Aww, Bakubro!” Ei cooed, wrapping an arm around his best friend’s neck, nuzzling the sides of their heads together as they walked towards the boys’ locker rooms. “Don’t worry my bro, we’ll find you someone eventually. No need to be jealous of Mina. You’ll always be my main bro.”

“I told you to stop saying that shit! Come here!”

Laughing, Eijirou sprinted forward, running away from the growing heat of explosions at his back.

Love her on her level, hey?

~x~

A couple days later, Katsuki was walking back towards the train station after having dinner at Auntie Inko’s. It was nice seeing her, being able to confide in her about just how much he was missing her son.

“You two are never truly apart, Katsuki. Besides, you never have liked getting anything the easy way.” Inko eyes creased as she smiled at her son’s boyfriend whose cheeks tinted at her words.

Katsuki considered her words. Loving Deku wasn’t a challenge. Deserving Deku’s love was. After he took his time to contemplate his own convoluted feelings, Katsuki has realised there was so much more to the years of torment and teasing he’d subjected Deku to. He had, of course, apologised to Deku before agreeing that his feelings were mutual. Katsuki will bless whatever God he needed to that his boyfriend was forgiving, able to see past his rough exterior.

“Excuse me! Sir- would you mind if we interviewed you?” Katsuki turned to find a woman, probably no older than him, with a small microphone in her hand. She gestured to her partner, a nerdy extra holding a camera up to him. “It’ll be super quick, I promise!”

Katsuki was about to roll his eyes and dismiss them for getting in his way when he remembered Mount Lady’s social media assignment. Katsuki quickly checked the time on his phone. Saturday 7:12pm.

Ah shit. His head had been so wrapped up around Deku he forgot to complete the last component of his Public Relations class. Deku would tease the shit out of him if he knew. All he needed was a video of him interacting with the public, could have been anything really, but it couldn’t be about heroism. Mount Lady wanted the class to display their personality to the public. Katsuki knew Ei recorded some workout gym tips, Denki and Kyoka had given some kids guitar lessons, hell he heard that Furry kid in his class did an ASMR reading at a library downtown somewhere. He had struggled to brainstorm ideas that had nothing to do with him as a hero.

“Ah… that’s okay! Thank you for your time.” The woman smiled dejectedly, seemingly taking Katsuki’s silence as a rejection. She waved for her partner to follow her.

“Wait.” Katsuki called out. “You gonna record this shit?”

“Yes! But we can blur your face if you’d like?” The woman bounced back, eyes keen.

“Nah. Mind if you send me the video too? I could use it for my PR class.” Katsuki lowered the surgical mask covering the bottom half of his face, revealing his identity.

“You’re the student h-hero Dynamight!” The woman’s eyed widened. “Oh my god. I’m about to interview the top student at UA!” Katsuki usually never gave interviews. Not since his first year when they completely made an ass of him and cut him out of the entire clip. Now, Katsuki only does interviews when he has something to say.

“Get just it over with,” Katsuki sighed. “But if we’re gonna do this interview I’m doing it as Bakugou Katsuki not Dynamight, got it?”

The woman nodded eagerly, fine with his decision. “The interview is actually data for our psychology course! Just gathering observations for our research on different perspectives of love!”

Katsuki blinked. He smirked, exhaling an amusing laugh through his nose.

Take this you shitty extras. I’m about to ace this shit.

~x~

“Welcome back, young heroes!” Mount Lady greeted the class. “I must say! I was super impressed with the level of openness you all committed to for this assignment.”

Katsuki gotten sent the video and the social media account from the woman who interviewed him and submitted it with the rest of his assignment minutes before it’s due date, adding in the link to the video online where it was posted publicly.

“In fact, there was a secret component Nezu added to the assignment; a competition!” Mount Lady announced, sending the class into a frenzy.

“It was meant to be a competition?”

“Aww man! I would’ve chosen a different topic!”

“Who won!”

“Did you guys place bets on us?”

“Why didn’t we know?!”

Katsuki rolled his eyes as he watched his classmates grow more frantic after Mount Lady just lets out a deep belly laugh at the reactions.

“Yes, we did place bets- unsurprisingly Eraserhead won again.” Mount Lady sighed. “The most mundane project you could’ve gotten and yet you all still continue to shock all of us. The competition was a simple view count popularity contest. Nezu said he would grant the wish of the student who did the best in the secret competition, as a prize for openly letting the general public see the real you.”

Everyone had quieted down, understanding rooting into their brains. A wish from Nezu? Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows. Could he… But they don’t even know the stupid nerd’s schedule, do they? Well, All Might certainly isn’t helpful. But if anyone could have that information, Katsuki doesn’t doubt the bear-rat that is his principle would have it. Although the interview went well- did it really stand a chance against more charming Heroes like Red Riot’s ab workout? Or Icyhot’s community service vlog around his Ma’s old institution?

While Katsuki went over the statistics of him winning the stupid competition in his head, he failed to hear Mount Lady announcing the winner and the way every head swivelled to him instantly, mouths agape in shock.

Maybe he could ask Nezu for a favour anyway. I mean, he hasn’t exploded any non-training equipment or furniture the whole semester.

A throat cleared.

“…Katsuki?”

The said student popped his head up, zoning back in. “What?”

“Dude, you won.” Denki grinned.

“So manly, Bakubro!” Eijirou nodded, pride gleaming from his smile.

“Why is that so shocking to you chucklefucks?” Katsuki smirked, crossing his arms. “I’m the best.”

“How did he win?!” Mineta cried out, gripping his purple balls. On his head. “My video was so much better! And helpful!”

“You actually came last.” Mount Lady said, gleefully. “And your kissing tips were not better. Or helpful. In fact, see me after class, you’ll have to resubmit your assignment.”

“But how did you win, bro? What was your video?” Hanta’s hand propped up his chin in the palm of his hand, leaning on one arm against the desk.

“It was just some stupid interview the other day.” Katsuki chuffed, only a little bit embarrassed by the contents of the interview, but the pride in winning a wish from Nezu instantly drowned it out.

“Mount Lady! How popular was his video?”

“Yeah! How many views did he get?”

Mount Lady thought about it, but she had to open her computer to fully remember. Last time it was at 800,000 views, easily beating the next student by a humble 150,000. Pulling up the video, her eyes bugged out of her head staring at the new view count.

“T-two point three million?!”

Silence stretched throughout the class once more.

“WHAT?!”
