Chapter Text
Recently, Wu has been experiencing an uneasy feeling on his chest, at first he ignored it, but it got severely affected when he heard that Chi’s ex, Wang Shuo had come back. He did not know what was causing it, but it never had been like this before, and the more it happens, the more it gets worse. When he woke up the next morning, he was beside Chi who was still asleep, and he stood up, going to shower and getting ready. He decided to go to the hospital, ask a doctor for advice on what he is experiencing.
Before leaving, he leaned, and gave a kiss on his boyfriend’s forehead. Without his knowledge, Chi grabbed his waist and pulled him into the bed, giving him a kiss on the lips while cuddling into him. The kisses were so passionate and intimate that Wu’s body collapsed and softened, forgetting that he was going to the hospital.
Chi’s hand lingers throughout Wu’s body, starting from his ears, neck, and then his chest, pinching his nipples. Wu moaned between each touch, and it made Chi bricked up.
“Chi.. Cheng..” Wu mumbled, once he let go with the kiss and was still feeling horny at that moment. Chi Cheng smiled, once he saw his current situation and casually playing with his nipples.
“Yes, baobei?” Chi answered, nuzzling against his boyfriend’s neck.
“I’m… going to meet with Shuai..” Wu continued, trying not to moan again.
Chi smirked and then smacked his butt, “I’ll drive you there.”
Wu flinched from the butt-smacking, “It’s fine, I can drive myself. You can sleep more.”
“Are you sure?” Chi answered while holding him between his arms, and his hands squeezing his butt.
Chi let him go, and Wu stood up, “Yeah, I’ll see you later,” He kissed Chi before leaving the house.

Wu arrived at the hospital, and he went directly to the receptionist, asking for his doctor. The receptionist told him that his doctor was busy with another patient, so he had to wait in the waiting room. The doctor called him up, and he stood up, walking to the room. As the doctor closed the door, he sat in front of his desk and promptly prepared his binder.
“ So what can I do for you, Mr. Wu,” The doctor asked him.
“My chest has been hurting for a while, and the pain increases the more often it happens. It’s been bothering me,” Wu confessed, rubbing the back of his hand.
“Alright, we can do an ultrasound, and before that, I’ll check your heartbeats for any complications. Once we do that, I will determine if it’s something you should worry about or not,” The doctor listed his symptoms, and explained what they are going to do.
Wu just nodded, and they started the medical exam.
When the exam finished, Wu patiently waited in the room while the doctor was out. He was not nervous, but just curious of the results, his legs swung up and down while waiting.
When the doctor entered the room, his spine straightened, and pretty alerted. The doctor sat on his chair, and promptly prepared the documents on the desk.
The doctor’s facial expression was not what he was expecting, “So, before I tell you the results, I need you to remain calm and be positive.”
“Okay,” Wu took a deep breath, and remained calm as the doctor suggested.
The doctor coughed before starting to talk, “About your results, I have discovered you have developed a medical condition called “Heartbroken Syndrome.”
“Sorry, what… syndrome? Doctor, please elaborate,” Wu was confused and he had no idea what the doctor was saying, scratching his head.
“In summary, when you feel an extreme emotional stress, This causes the blood flow to be reduced and without much blood withdrawal, your heart starts to ache and less oxygen on the blood,” The doctor explains the issue in less detail so that Wu can understand.
Wu was worried, “Is there any medication or any solution for the problem?”
“There is, but it is complicated and may cause severe damages to your body. However, you may avoid the pain by avoiding any emotional stressors such as any heartache, death of a relative, and any other emotional trauma.”
Wu was very overwhelmed by the information given by the doctor, and unable to process the information.
“Thank you, doctor.”
Wu doesn’t know how he can explain this to Chi, nor does he even want to tell him, considering he will likely panic which can cause him to also panic. His thoughts surrounds him…
His chest aches.
