It was late at night, Erasmus didn't really know exactly when, as he did not have a clock anywhere - the ticking or lighting always annoyed him - But he knew it was surely the middle of the night, if he had to guess it would be around 3:12, at night obviously.
He tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position in which he could fall asleep, nothing worked, tho.
He drank like three cups of milk already, he wasn't the one to believe in all those "drinking milk helps with falling asleep" but it was worth giving a shot, did nothing though.
When the sun was coming up, Erasmus heard footsteps from the corridor.
“Who the fuck is that?" He thought, immediately getting up looking through the keyhole, trying to get a look of what was going on in the corridor.
Ah, right.
Erasmus completely forgot that he has a roommate, one that likes a "late-night" snack.
Erasmus opened the door, meeting eye-to-eye with Zephyr.
Zephyr stood, staring back at Erasmus, he knew that his friend was sleep deprived most of the time, and he could tell when his friend did not get a ounce of sleep.
“Uhm, did you even sleep?„ the shorter man decided to ask, already knowing the answer though.
Erasmus looked away, that was basically a silent confirmation.
Silence, once again. Both of the men didn't know what to exactly say.
Eventually, Zephyr sighed, he took Erasmus's hand and went back to Erasmus's room, he threw him onto the bed and commanded:
“Lay down.„
“W-huh? For what?„
“Cmon Era! Just do it!
Erasmus did as he was told, he laid down stiffly.
"Satisfied?" He asked with sarcasm in his voice.
Zephyr nodded with a huge smirk on his face, and eventually he laid down near Erasmus, putting his hand on the other man's chest and hugging him tightly.
“Now, shhh, sleep.„
Somehow, Erasmus did in fact fall asleep! Maybe they both got late to work, but it was pretty worth it, as it was sleep that Erasmus did not get in a long, long time.
