Port Dia was no Windmire, bit this market still packs a bunch! It has a certain rustic charm to it! Where are the people hiding from guards and the hooded figures?
“Erm. Princess…”
“Huh? Is everything alright?”
“Yeah … it’s … just do.. do you really want me along with this?”
“Of course I do!”
Elise grabbed her guest’s arm, who made a step back. Elise let go in reaction.
“Sorry!”
“No, it’s … it’s fine. But but you really don’t have to go so far just for me…”
“But sure I have to! I want you to enjoy yourself not be cramped up all alone in that gardening shed in the castle! Or the shops even when it’s not your shift!”
“You.. you know about that?”
“Come on! Let’s go. There’s a lot to see!”
“O- okay!”
The shopping was eventless. Extremely eventless. Elise pointed at something, Sakura gave a meek and empty reply, something like ‘nice’, or ‘its good’ or ‘you don’t need me for this, i don’t know anything about fashion/jewellery/makeup/woodwork/metal working/the creation of magical tomes/ how to be all yours forever (okay that last one didn’t happen but a girl can dream!)’.
And it’s not that Elise found it annoying, it’s just that she knew Sakura had so much joy in her!
But she’s gonna cribble it out the hard way if she- hey is that a cat!?”
“Look, Sakura! A cat!”
It was a small calico, with some nice orange fur. It was meowing around, and luckily Sakura was just carrying some fish, so Elise grabbed one and gave it to the cat.
The cat was instantly coming closer, grabbed the fish with its mouth and away was it!
“Hey, stay here!” Elise laughed as she went after it.
“Princess! Where are you going?”
“After it!” she called back, “Come on Sakura! We’ll lose it!”
Sakura had to follow then!
Walking slowly, cause she had all the package with her, she went after Elise and lost her moments later!
“Princess! Princess! Where are you!”
Instead of an answer she heard a scream! Elise’s scream!
Sakura instantly dropped her bags, and started running its way.
Ahh why did she leave her boy at the castle!? That was so stupid of her.
No matter she’ll have to fight like that then!
But when she arrived at the scene she did find Elise, lying on the floor, the cat on her lap, with tail up in the air and the most curved back ever seen.
And on the other end was Princess Camilla, in full armour. Her Wyvern was just sitting behind her and let her look like an angel of death.
And below her, Sakura now realised, was some kind of body, with a massive silver axe’s head half into its back. Blood was slowly dripping from it.
“Ahh, princess Sakura! You are also here! Then there was no reason to have been so cautious. But it did turn out it was good to remain close.”
Then she took up her axe, “Since this gentlemen here, “she tabbed the body with her axe in demonstration, “thought to threaten my dear sister.”
Then she saddled up and flew away.
“Oh hi, Sakura! Thanks for coming so fast, but Camilla already cleaned up. Huh?! What’s with you? You don’t look good at all!”
Sakura was green in the face, her eyes wide open.
“Hey Sakura! Please sit down, you’re about t-”
And then she collapsed.
When Sakura came to, they were back at the astral planes.
At a stool next to her, Elise was sitting and waiting the cat in her lab.
“Are you okay, Sakura? you just collapsed at the market.”
“I think I am?”
Sakura rubbed her forehead.
“Your sister just had… had me kinda surprised i think.”
“Camilla tends to be a bit cruel, I’m sorry it was too much for you. I’ll have a stern word with her later!”
Sakura had to smile at that. The princess was being so nice to her! She doesn’t understand why but it was really nice!!!
