This song follows a woman who meets Tim, a man she begins to get obsessed with as she dates him and eventually meets his parents who dote on her by gifting flowers and chocolates. Soon after, she begins fantasizing about their future child (Lady) and how she will inevitably end up like the woman. Her dream is to end up with a life like the highly revered Brady Bunch, the picture perfect American dream with a devoted wife, hard-working husband and loving kids living in a nice suburb with a white picket fence, all the while Tim doesn't seem to be on the same page with (or even know of) her dream. She later meets Tim's friend (Jen), she deems Jen "shady" and accuses Jen saying she "tried to steal my man", with these thoughts she has a violent fantasy of being her "surgeon" and rearranging her face with a scalpel. She continues her fantasy of being "Mrs. Brady" by imagining her wedding with Tim with the grooms (Groomsmen) hating her, flowers decorations and a baby on the way. She expresses wanting to "look honey" and "taste sweet" so Tim's family loves and accepts her, keeping their trust to add the icing on top of the cake. She feels elation at the imagery of being his wife and compares it to "feeling just like I'm in heaven" wanting Tim to call her " Lucky seven", a reference to good fortune and positive outcomes. The song begins to end as well as her fantasy with her trying to find the same love she feels for Tim in his heart, she states (as she does multiple times in the song) that she's "looking in the dark" not being able to clearly detect it with there being the possibility that the love Tim had never existed in the first place.
