It was early in the morning. Four was getting ready to go to the kitchen so he can help X with the baking.
Four was making himself some coffee with extra caffeine. He was barely awake and didn't notice when One walked into the kitchen. “Four, what time are you going to go to the kitchen?” One asked.
Four looked at One confused, didn't she know this already? “I'm going at 6:30 AM. like I always do?” Four answered. One looked at him sternly with furrowed brows “it's 7:30, Four.” One said through her teeth.
“Wait, really!?” Four quickly pulled out his watch, it read 7:35 AM. “I gotta go,” Four quickly snapped his fingers and teleported to the kitchen.
When four looked around he saw X flipping the Opening sign with Cake doing last minute cleanings. Four quickly went into the kitchen and started getting ingredients ready.
“Four!” X exclaimed when he walked into the kitchen, “why were you so late today?” X asked Four. Four turned around, “sorry X, i was busy… uhh…” Four looked around the kitchen looking for an excuse. That's when he noticed a pan, “One was making breakfast and accidentally dropped her.. Eggs off the pan and I went to help her clean..”
Four was sweating nervously when he finished responding to X’s question. X shrugged “okay, just try not to be late again. I don't want to accidentally make Cake mad.” X replied as he started to walk away back to the counter.
Four sighed and went back to prepping ingredients and turning on ovens.
As he was preheating the ovens he heard a noise near the pots and pans, it sounded like something fell over. He looked closely and saw a blue thing disappear.
Four was visibly confused and went to take a look but when he got there, he saw nothing.
