A few weeks ago , Mabel and Stan had decided to show off all the piercings they had to Ford. In awe of all the piercings that the two had , he decided to make an appointment at claires to go get his ears pierced despite Stan offering to do it for him. It was finally the day for him to get his ears pierced. Mabel had decided to go with him so she could get herself some cute earrings. “I don’t know why Stan was nagging me about getting done at the mall, they are professionals here while he doesn’t even have training to do this.” Mabel sat there in silence for a bit. Claire’s wasn't trustable at all , like not even one bit. She thought it was funny to lie and say it was super professional. “Yeah Grunkle Ford it’s the best place ever to get your ears pierced!” She giggled . “Finally someone sensible here.” He exclaimed “I’m so glad I brought you.” “LOOK WE'RE HERE!!!” Mabel yelled , pointing at the mall
After making a quick stop to get mall pretzels , they stood in front of the Claires. There were a million ways Ford could describe the place , one of which being disappointing. It looked like a unicorn sharted all over it (or a toddler). “Is this the place?” Stanford mumbled under his breath. Standing in front of the Claire’s was a man with messy brown hair who was wrapped in bandages., it looked like he was talking on the phone with someone “I can’t believe he kicked me out of the claires, I mean I might of tired to suffocate myself with a gold peace sign necklace , but I’ve done WAY worse in there!” He yelled to whoever was on the phone with him. “Oh sorry sorry” he said, noticing the two very concerned people next to him. “Everything I said was a joke , I promise.” They both knew that was a big fat lie , but they went in anyway.
A man with messy purple hair and mad drip greeted them when they walked in, while another man with choppy white hair cried at the checkout. “What’s up, my brothers. Welcome to the Claires world. Tanos will pierce your ears with unicorns. I’m the best here.” The man with the messed up hair quickly ran up to where Tanos was “NO! YOU AREN’T PIERCING THEIR EARS, YOU JUST DID A LINE OF COKE ON A SQUISHMELLOW ! THE LAST TIME YOU PIERCED SOMEONE'S EAR HIGH WE GOT A LAWSUIT !!” The other employee scolded him , wiping the tears from his eyes. “God why did I agree to doing this , I doubt that we’ll get any info on the man trying to find from working here.” He muttered . There was silence for a moment before he was ready to welcome the customers “Hello , my name's Atsushi , welcome to Claires . All items are buy one get 3 63% off . Also please don’t tell my boss that I let Tanos keep working here , I will get fired alongside him.” Stanford was at a loss for words at how poorly this place was run. For something that was supposed to be “fancy and professional”, the employees were clearly untrained and untrustworthy. Not to mention the man outside was still yelling at whoever had the misfortune of being on the phone with him. “Hello , my name is Ford , I have an appointment to get my ears pierced. I assume that you will be the one to do that.” He calmly stated “Oh um, Yes I might be piercing your ears Ford , but I need to have a little chat with Tanos here before we do that so go look around , and good lord he is flirting with that weird humanoid dog again.” He looked behind him at his fellow employee who was trying to get with a white talking dog . “I’m not from America , is this normal?” He said with a concerned look on his face “Yeah, that’s Mr.Peabody , he’s like a famous engineer scientist dude.” Mabel said “Oh okay I can turn into a tiger there’s weirder things in the world.” He said trying to reassure himself that his job was completely normal and fine. “Anyways buy one get 4 items 47% off sale happening browse the shop while I have a talk with Tanos , thank you.” he said as he walked away to stop Tanos from harassing the customers
“Mabel , is this the professional place you were telling me about?” Stanford questioned in a concerned voice “I mean, the employees are fighting , one of them is high , the same one is harassing customers, and there’s a crazy man on the phone outside.” “I’m pretty sure he’s planning a date or something . It sounds like he’s flirting.” Mabel chimed in while giggling . “ Grunkle Ford , I might have lied to you about the legitimacy of this place to get a pair of unicorn earrings.” Mabel admitted ,still giggling to herself. “Mabel , I’m very disappointed in you.”He sighed “I should’ve just got my ears pierced by Stan , but it’s too late now” . Every second that Stanford stood there , the more he regretted his decision. He fidgeted with his fingers while the white haired employee ran out the store to grab the man on the phone in front of the store. A few words were exchanged before the two men walked back into the Claire’s .
“Sorry for the wait time Mister .” Atsushi apologized. “Dazai will be piercing your ears since he’s certified and I want to go on my lunch break.” Atsushi began to walk away when Mabel grabbed the back of his shirt “Does this guy even work here? Like didn’t he get kicked out?!” Mabel yelled at the worker . “I’m the one who kicked him out , I can bring him back in. Also I can’t pierce ears , I’m not certified yet. Anyways, enjoy our 45% off all squishmellows deal.” Atsushi said running out of the store. “Excuse me Mr.Tanos.” A white dog approached the purple haired employee “Which deal that your co worker said actually works , he says something different every time ?” He asked . The brown haired man who had just been let into the store walked in front of the dog. “They’re all correct , this store is really close to going out of business so we need to sell stuff as fast as we can.” He answered, “Anyways , Tanos pierce grandpa’s ears , I really don’t wanna.” He whined , walking away from the white dog . “Le’s goo…Alright, old man, and girl. I’ll pierce your ears. Chair’s over there.” Tanos exclaimed. All Ford could feel was dread . He knew this would end up terribly for him , but he had already paid .He looked around trying to distract himself from the events that were going to happen. This brought him absolutely no comfort. Finally it was time for him to get his ears pierced. Tanos brought out a tray with a bunch of earrings laying out on it. “Whatchu want???” The earrings laid out were black studs , star earrings , hello kitty earrings , rhinestone studs , and heart earrings . “HE WANTS THE HEARTS!” Mabel yelled “Okay. Mister old man, sit down.” Stanford didn’t even bother fighting with Mabel, he just wanted to get out of the Claire’s.
While Tanos pierced Stanford’s ears surprisingly well , the white dog had begun to argue with the rather lazy employee. “Excuse me mister , what is your name?” He asked in a condescending tone . “It’s Dazai.” He responded cheerfully “Mr.Dazai, the earrings sold here are absolute garbage aimed towards young girls , who might I add don’t even come here anymore because they know how low quality your merchandise is.” He said snarkily. “Ow such harsh words, I’m about to cry !” Dazai sarcastically said, flailing his arms around “Look puppy , I don’t even wanna work here . I couldn’t even care about the fact that no one would come here if I tried.” He yawned, beginning to walk away “PUPPY” The man called out “I’ll have you know I’ve accomplished more than you ever will IN YOUR LIFE!” He snapped . “Mr.peabody you're embarrassing me.” Muttered the red haired kid next to him “I’m sorry Sherman.” Mr.Peabody responded before walking away from Dazai. Meanwhile Ford’s ears were finally pierced. The hot pink hearts looked rather nice on him. Ford began to walk out the door , but then Atsushi walked back into the building “Dazai , did you take my lunch ? I had to get a pretzel, it was like $5 dollars.” Before Dazai could respond to him Both Ford and Mr.Peabody began to yell their complaints at him.
Finally , Ford got home . He was tired and had bright pink hearts on his earlobes . “So how’d it go poindexter ?” Stan giggled . “I should’ve let you pierce my ears.”
