Chapter 1: Brand new session, looks in the early years.

Chapter Text

In the early year, most parents are signing in their teen children who are citizens in Malaysia at first to enter in every secondary schools, including boarding schools and religious schools. Ami would like to choose to attend in the school where most of her friends wish to study or in a boarding school for an improved behaviour, less school cases, zero cyber bullying in front of her and high tolerance. But the boarding school application of hers has rejected. She would choose the first option.

Whilst her cousin, Maira, has her boarding school application accepted. She would attend in any school as long it's near to her closet relatives' house. Her boarding school's location is at her closest cousin's area district. But it's not very far to Ami's house as expected. That's okay though, she'll go to Ami's house every time when Maira's weekend outings.

A few days later, Ami’s mother goes to the store for her niece’s important things such as her own pillow for the dorm, a bucket from home and many much more. So the daughter is also helping for what does her cousin needs. On the other hand, it was an early morning. Maira and her parents are packing to get ready for her first session of her programme at her boarding school. They need to get ready before the flight at four in the morning. As soon as Maira goes downstairs, looking like a transferred student, preparing for the flight, her parents are calling for her to eat breakfast without stains. Pretty nice challenge isn’t it?

”Maira, lets eat. You must take a breakfast for your energy or you’ll be sleepy forever.” Her mother tells her. Maira heard that her mom was calling her. She walks faster to had more time, the problem is the skirt is a bit long for her normal size.

”I’m coming. Please be patient, mak. I’ll be on time though” She replies. They forgave her mistakes. Nothing happened though. Ignoring all of the negativity, they eat the breakfast happily. A few minutes later, the bags are at the outside, their food has been finished. Maira greets her beloved relatives, including her babysitter who took care for her younger siblings. Before she goes, Maira would like to say her last words before going out.

”Thank you for taking care of me, making me laugh, making me to love this district. But I will go from now on. I will come back anytime when my holidays are over a week. See you.” She cried with affectionate tears, the whole household are also having the tears of love and miss. “Kak mimi, nantilah kau kasi belanjakan kami matcha latte ya” she speaks to her babysitter. A bit rival, but the memories are trustworthy at the same time. Maira hugs them. It’s a core memory for her leaving to go to the boarding school.

The taxi has arrived. The parents and their daughter are ready to sit. Going to the airport too. But at the same time, it’s a throwback when her siblings and her cousins are going out shopping through the mall and the airport. She misses it so dearly. She can still imagine that Ami and her cousins are waving at random people when they’re going back from the mall. It’s very determined for her. As the family of three are arrived to the airport, she would love the scent of the air conditioner inside.

As soon as they go inside to the airplane, she can imagine that her whole family is with her. She would love the aesthetic visuals, seeing them staying at her trusted house. She feels bad though.

On the other side, the cousin, Ami has her high school's first grade orientation session.
