The Game Changed When You Showed Up || Kira Timurov ♤

Summary:

THIS IS ALSO ON WATTPAD
leyley_sksksksksk

You weren't supposed to be part of the Game.
You were a background player - smart, quiet, invisible. Just a spectator in a world built on secrets, dares, and dangerous bets. But one wrong move changes everything. Now your name is on The List. Now you're in play.

And in a world where trust can get you killed, the only person who offers you a lifeline is Kira Timurov - ruthless, unreadable, and deadly sharp. She claims she's helping for her own reasons. She tells you not to get close. But the longer you stay, the more the lines between fake and real start to blur.

This is a story of survival, strategy, and the slow-burn connection between two girls who were never supposed to care - but end up breaking the rules anyway.

Because once you enter The Game, nothing is ever just a game.

Chapter 1: PROLOGUE

Chapter Text

3rd Person POV

The List had rules.
Strict ones.
You don’t make the List unless you’re chosen. You don’t survive the List unless you’re clever, cruel, or lucky. And once your name appears, there’s no taking it back.

At 11:11 PM on a school night, a new name appeared.
Not a daredevil. Not a schemer. Not one of the usual suspects.
Just… you.

Quiet. Observant. The kind of girl who sat at the back of class and noticed things no one else did. A girl who watched The Game unfold from the sidelines, never daring to get involved.

Until now.

When Kira Timurov saw your name flash on the screen, she didn’t flinch. But her eyes sharpened. Her fingers tightened around her phone.

She knew what that name meant.
You were the anomaly. The glitch in the pattern. The one person no one was betting on — because you weren’t even supposed to be playing.

And that made you a threat. Or a target. Or maybe both.

Kira didn’t like loose ends. She liked control. Clean moves. Calculated risks. She was a player through and through — respected, feared, undefeated.

But you…
You were the variable she hadn’t planned for.
The question mark she couldn’t solve.
The girl she’d seen — really seen — long before your name ever appeared on the screen.

Kira's POV:

I should’ve walked away.
I should’ve let the game eat you alive like it did everyone else.

But when I saw your name, something in me shifted.
Not pity. Not concern.
More like… a pull. A memory. A challenge.

Because deep down, I knew:
If you played your cards right —
you might just beat me at my own game.
