“I have an amazing adventure awaiting you all today!” Caine said enthusiastically as everybody else groggily entered the main area of the circus, or living quarters.
“It’s 5am. I’m not doing this.” Zooble said, monotone. Pomni nods, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Caine recently updated it so they actually got to wear pyjamas before bed, but Caine basically just snapped his fingers every night to change them now.
Everyone was still in pyjamas, Gangle wore an anime hoodie with knee high cat socks and slippers, Zooble just wore a black tee. Simple but fitting. Jax wore a pink onesie which he was very much against, Zooble teased him like hell for it. Kinger wore his usual attire. Ragatha had a baby blue and white striped nightdress with pink slippers and a pink eye mask, matching with Pomni. Pomni wore pink with blue slippers however.
Even Jax agreed with Zooble, “Hate to agree with ya, Zoobie but i’m not doing this. I wanna go back to bed. See ya.” He turned to walk away just as a neon pink portal opened up.
“Monika, what the hell! You can’t just code a portal into existence!” A high-pitched voice screamed.
“A-Ah!” A lower voice exclaimed as she was pushed through the portal. Yuri landed face first, pushed in by Natsuki, she immediately hit her face off the hard floor. Her purple hair however got caught on Natsuki’s bracelet and she fell on top of Yuri.
Caine yelled, “An NPC?! But- I’ve never made anything like this before..” Caine repeatedly clicked his fingers. “ITS NOT DOING ANYTHING!” He screeched.
Yuri tried to sit up, Natsuki stood fast and brushed her uniform. Sayori helped up Yuri as Monika walked through. “Who the [boink!] are you?!”
“Ah, pardon me for not introducing myself. I’m Monika! Leader of the literature club! I’m club president!” Monika shook Caine’s hand. Sayori looked over to the person nearest to her, Jax. Sayori immediately ran over and hugged him tightly, playing with his ears. “Wow, you’re such a cute bunny!”
“Sayori! What have i told you? You shouldn’t hug others without their permission first. Some people don’t like it.” She looked over to Yuri.
“Ah! S-Sorry, Moni.. Sorry, bunny.” Jax was speechless. He was so filled with rage but Pomni eventually calmed him down.
“Anyway.This is Sayori. She’s very cheerful and loves being friendly. Then we have Yuri. She’s a little shy but a really good friend and loves a good book! And Natsuki! She adores her manga, which is a form of literature that we are working to embrace at the literature club!” Monika explained. Gangle perked up at the mention of manga. She walked over to Natsuki and they started to chat about ‘Parfait Girls’. Sayori and Ragatha got along well too. Sayori listened really well and always had a kind thing to say. Yuri, Kinger and Zooble enjoyed just sitting in silence. Natsuki kept looking over to Jax occasionally though.Monika gave free therapy sessions to Pomni, but also noticed the strange aura Caine gave off.
