Summary
Everyone knew Lucius and Narcissa's daughter went missing when she was less than two months old. Most assumed she was dead. Her mother, though, always hoped that her little Star, her Lyra, would come home to her.
Harriet Lily Potter was about to begin her fifth year at Hogwarts. She was still angry and hurt over what transpired the year before, watching Cedric die. That man's chilling voice still rang through her head like a mantra; kill the spare. No one wrote back to her, no one kept her informed. Harri was alone.
After dementors tried to kiss herself and her cousin, Dudley, Harri gets notified of her expulsion from Hogwarts for the use of underage magic in front of muggles. After explaining what happened, they decided to revoke the expulsion, but Harri was considered a new student again. She had to be sorted again.
Everyone, including Harri, are surprised when she gets sorted into Slytherin. Well, it was always what the hat wanted. She doesn't even make it a week before she has to do a mandatory screening with Madam Pomfrey. Secrets come to light, secrets that a certain headmaster hoped would stay buried.
