When Calamity Is Real

Summary:

What if Chuuya didn't in fact absorb destructive power named 'Arahabaki'. What if he's aware that in every shadow, the God Of Calamity Is there. A picture of him. Of his insidious thoughts and rage that remains hidden beneath his elegant exterior.

A monster he always kept hidden...

Chapter 1: Epilogue

Chapter Text

Maybe it was all fate. One that was twisted in a knot of braids. Waking to consciousness at a young age, used as a tool for the 'greater good' of it all. An evil force of destruction forced to be chained in the body of something so fragile, so frail. Made of flesh and bones. A measly creation of a God that can not be seen until after death. And yet, the calamity inside felt that anger. That inferiority to being an experiment, used as a lab rat for nothing more but the achievement of power. A quench to the thirst of control. And fate is such a delicate thing to twist.

It was the same day Yokohama was greeted by the Arahabaki incident, destroying homes. And the God was witness to his fellow vessel being taken advantage of. Feared without even realising. What sheep were to follow a wolf and invite him to their herd without any danger involved. It was a masterful plan of manipulation and recklessness. But even so, Chuuya was casually abandoned once more, nothing more than a powerful ability user lost. But in the eyes of the Demon Prodigy? He was perfect. Another chess piece to the Port Mafia.

Years accumulated, in them memories were harboured and created, something which kept him at peace. The very thing that makes itself known in Chuuya's mind. A part no one accepted but Dazai, and one that felt immense anger at his disappearance. Helpless, assuming the brunette had died with nothing more than an explosion of his car. No words exchanged. Chuuya was abandoned yet again. And in the process, grief was anger to Arahabaki. A behemoth for letting a foolish human sedate his purpose. He was a source of destruction. Calamity itself.

And he'd be damned if he didn't feel the longing for the brunette. As much as Chuuya.

It was not his place to interfere, but he knew when someone separation was needed. Chuuya's mind, body, and soul were always open for him. For he is more than willing to torment what he lost. Even under the guise of a human...

After all, humans are most gullible at their weakest. And he's well aware of how to use them to his advantage.

Notes:

Sooo.. this was just self indulgence. I'm planning on making it a few chapters long.
