Giichi tomioka

He was quiet, distant, and often misunderstood — even in university, no one quite got him. He have interest in historical studies. He just love to know more abou shine that already built along time ago and still maintain until now. so he spent his weekends volunteering at a mountain shrine every region in Japan

His hobbies quiet unusual for someone in his age. It just sometime he feels like something a part of him missing and he search for it.

And all of that started when he got unusual dreams that he doesn't even understand. For example he saw a old shine , a wisteria tree all over the place, and a beautiful girl with a butterfly hair clip.

Or, he would dream of things that made no sense.
A sword in his hand. Blood on snow. A girl with purple eyes calling him "tomioka-san" with a faint smile. And when he wake up the pillow beneath his face is damp with tears he doesn’t remember shedding.

All he can do is searching for a girl that he doesn't even have tiniest detail about her name, age, etc. Just her face that blurred. He's not sure himself what's that woman looks like.

he failed at first attempt. He started to wonder maybe he can find a clue if he go to shine. So he visit all shine in Japan to understand the meaning of his dream

Until one day… he met her.

It was spring.
He had taken the train to a countryside town known for the oldest shine with thousands of stone laterns and the beautiful wisteria trees that bloom in the spring — for his thesis. The most interesting fact is there's a traditional wooden house in edo era.

But something pulled him there, a tug in his chest he couldn’t explain. It feels like deja vu with the place but the weird things is he never go here.

He decide to take photos of a shine, grave for fallen samurai not to far from the shine and make small note for that place. Since he already here he should visit machiya.

He walking alone around the area with camera slung around his neck.He lifted his camera to capture the beauty of wisteria but he hesitated because beneath the largest blooming wisteria tree stood a beautiful woman then "clicked". His body just move it self to take picture of that mysterious girl.

She look like in her late twenties, maybe early thirties. She wore a white blouse, black slacks, and a purple butterfly pin on her hair.

She was looking up at the blossoms with a sad, knowing expression.

He didn’t know why — but he couldn’t look away.

“…You’re staring,” she said without turning around.

Giyuu stood still

She turned her head slightly, and her violet eyes met his.

She studied him for a moment. Then—very softly—she smiled.

“That’s strange, You looks familiar. Have we meet before ?
