Chapter Text
Orion pushed forward, barely registering the untrimmed branches as he pushed them aside, right into his sister's face, as they marched towards the manor, invite in hand.
The Redhead grimaced at her Brother, annoyed by his self absorbed naivety “don't you think its weird they asked for the lead AND a random part of the orchestra?” she questioned, her eyes tracing across the quivering trees.
He turned, his grin unwavering as he faced his skeptical sister “what are you suggesting?” he laughed, taking her arm gently “you saw what they promised! This could finally be your big break”
She rolled her eyes but calmed herself down, trying to trust his judgement for once.
Most of the survivors sat around the dining table, most eating, some talking, while the seer sat, distracted by something out the window, a slight smirk on his face as Luca and Tracy argued about something incomprehensible before Tracy stormed off, causing Luca to turn towards Eli
“hey! What are you staring at?”
Eli laughed, petting his owl as she landed on his shoulder “... nothing.. I just think something interesting will happen soon”...
Just as people were heading their separate ways and opening their game letters the entrance door swung open, revealing a man with messy blond hair and a Shakespearian style costume with a pendant pinned to his right chest and a ginger haired women, wearing a formal suit dress and a similar pendant on her collar who trailed closely behind him.
“Hello anybody home-” his face lit up walking to the end of the table “oh hello! I was starting to fear nobody was here”
Eli smiled at them coming forward to shake the actors hand “ah hello there… welcome to the manor” the Seer's grip was firm but the man quickly backed off, letting the more excitable crowd surround the siblings.
The gardener bounced up to them pushing past the people she was talking to as to properly see the pair “oh my! You must be the new survivors” she looked the pair up and down “is that acostume? I was wondering when new people would come-” she cut herself off, looking a little embarrassed “oh where are my manners I'm sorry” she backed up giving them some space "im Emma woods, the gardener".
Unfortunately the prisoner simply took the spot “hey! I'm Luca and that weird guy earlier is Eli.. the Seer” he smiled but something about him rubbed the musician the wrong way “its
nice to meet you!” he held out his hand. The actor eagerly shook it
“It's very nice to meet you” he beamed, gesturing towards his sister “this is my sister Gaia and Im Orion” he held Luca’s hand for maybe a little too long before Gaia stepped forward, forcing him to
take a step back.
“Do you know about the letter that sent us here?”
The man and woman looked at each other with an awkward image on their faces before the prisoner put a hand around Gaia, to her discomfort, “we have uh… some things to explain”

“Stay put im coming!” she called out, spinning her flute and running absent mindedly as she went to rescue her brother
‘ really, cant he Kite for more than one second’ she thought with a grimace on her face, taking a deep breath in preparing to play-
“Thanks Andrew!”
Beaten again.
She grunted, taking a sharp turn to the nearest cipher machine… even though she wasn't any good… its ok… dont get upset if he was closer he was closer.. Whatever!
But she just couldn't get this rumbling out of her stomach, like boiling water, she felt like she was getting replaced… by who! These ragged nobodys… one of them's in a prison uniform! The other ones mute!... seriously what had gotten into him
