Kagari and Minamo were walking out of the school building when Nagase ran up to them with a huge grin on her face. "Guys, guys! Guess what?"
"What?" Kagari asked
"Well you know how Minamo taught me how to bake cookies but I kept burning them?"
Minamo tilted her head. "Yeah…?"
"Well, I baked some yesterday, and they came out perfect!!"
Kagari smiled. "That's wonderful! How did they taste?"
Nagase sighed "Well I didn't have time to taste them since I had to record a new video…"
Minamo seemed a bit worried about that…. "Oh… well I hope they at least taste good."
The girls at Nagase's house. Nagase took out the batch of cookies from the oven.
"See? They looked awesome right?"
Kagari took a cookie from the pan. "Yes, you've been practicing."
Minamo nodded, also taking a cookie. "You did such a good job!"
Nagase smiled proudly. "Thanks! Now, go ahead and take a bite."
Minamo and Kagari took a bite of the cookies. Their faces went from neutral to grimace. Minamo took a paper towel and spat out the cookie while Kagari started coughing. Nagase frowned. "What's wrong?"
"Nagase, you added way too much baking soda!" Minamo said.
"Yeah, I need water…" Kagari replied dryly.
Nagase stared at them for a few seconds before laughing nervously. "Oops, sorry guys! I didn't even notice… I'll get y'all some water!”
When Nagase gave Minamo and Kagari a glass of water, they drank some and sighed in relief. Minamo then spoke up. "You should've at least tried the cookies before running off to do something…”
“Yeah not trying something you baked or cooked isn't a wise choice," Kagari added.
Nagase rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "Yeah, you guys are right… I'm not going to do this again, promise."
The girls smiled. "We know, everyone makes mistakes," Minamo said in an assuring tone.
Kagari nodded. "What Minamo said."
"Right! I was going to bring these to Naville, but no point now…" Nagase sighed disappointingly.
"Next time you can bring it to him when you perfect your baking skills." Minamo insisted
"Hm… good idea!"
Kagari checked the time. "Shouldn't we be heading over to Alicepia?"
"Yeah, Nacchi's probably waiting for us there!" Minami said.
Nagase got up. "Alright, let's go!"
The girls logged into Alicepia, leaving Nagase's house.
