“The hell are you wearing?”
“Clothes!”
Bennett’s three companions continued to give him confused expressions.
“What? Does it look bad?” Bennett asked, worried his teammates hated his new outfit.
“No no! No one is saying it looks bad!” Yoimiya attempted to reassure.
“I am— OW!” Wanderer yelped as the young knight in training next to him suddenly hit his shoulder. How was she so strong??
“Sorry.” Noelle replied before turning back to Bennett. “I think you look great!”
“Oh thank you!”
“It’s just that uh… you know we usually all have the same outfit on all the time so...” Yoimiya attempts to explain. “It’s just kinda weird that you’re suddenly different.”
“Is that bad?” The young adventurer asked.
“NO! Uh… Chuuya say something.” Yoimiya whispered to the puppet.
Wanderer glared at Yoimiya and Noelle’s scolding and pleading looks before finally giving in. “Fine… you look slightly less ridiculous than you usually do.”
“You really mean that?” Bennett asked, his eyes full of hope.
“… yea.”
“Oh that’s amazing! I’m so glad all my friends love my new look!” Bennett chirped happily.
The four decided to celebrate their friend’s new outfit over dinner.
