Summary:

Everything stops. The braziers on the columns flicker, the book drops with a slap on the table, and the rest of the student body looks around in confusion.

Professor Weasley gets up, attempting to quell the chatter. “Everyone please, stay calm! We do not know what magic caused this! Classes will resume as normal today! Depending on how stable the magic will be, we will only be teaching theoretical magic!”

Morgan McKee - Ravenclaw 5th year. Our story's heroine and the holder of a mysterious form of ancient magic…

Giuliana “Jenna” Russo - Hufflepuff 5th year. Morgan's childhood best friend. Sarcastic, loyal to a fault, and a bit overly competitive at times. Dating Poppy Sweeting.

Niccolò “Nicky” Russo - Hufflepuff 5th year. Jenna’s twin brother. An occasional airhead, loveable goofball, quietly struggling with a secret childhood trauma. Has the world's most disgusting and nonsecretive crush on Garreth Weasley.

La'nh Nguyen - Slytherin 5th year. One of Sebastian and Ominis’ roommates and closest friends. Quiet, contemplative, extremely dry-humored. Dating Dorothea Godwin.

Enoch Potter - Slytherin 5th year. Sebastian and Ominis’ fourth roommate. Level headed enough to balance out La’nh and Sebastian, but also just reckless enough to get himself into detention with La’nh and Sebastian (often a source of Ominis’ headaches, but Sebastian takes the cake on that front). Dating Mabel Weasley.

Dorothea “Dotty” Godwin - Slytherin 5th year. Imelda and Violet’s third roommate. Softspoken and easily flustered, Dotty is sweet and gentle, dubbed the “Hufflepuff of Slytherin,” alongside Faye. . Dating La'nh Nguyen.

Faye Pritchard - Slytherin 5th year. Imelda and Violet’s fourth roommate. Kind and gentle, often described as being the “Hufflepuffs of Slytherin,” alongside Dotty. Magical theory enthusiast. Dating Leander Prewett.

Mabel Weasley - Gryffindor 5th year. Garreth's younger Irish twin sister. Hotheaded, Herbology enthusiast, outwardly overconfident at times. Dating Enoch Potter.
