Spencer Reid's POV:

I woke up to hearing my youngest yelling for me to wake up.

"Hey, Everlee, did you sleep well?"

"Yeah daddy, do I have to go to school today?"

huh why would she ask that? Was something happening at school? I will ask Trixie.

"Why honey, is there something happening there that's why you don't want to go?"

"No, daddy I just wanted to stay home and you could and we could have fun."

Oh, I'm glad she is okay.

"How about this, I come and get you from school around lets say 1:30 and we go have a father-daughter day?"

"That sounds fine, I guess."

"Okay how about you go for a half day and I get you before lunch and we go out for lunch too?"

"Yeah you could do that, thanks daddy. I'm going to wear my pretty pink flower dress."

"Okay that sounds good. Why don't you go get ready, and by the time you get done me and mom will have made breakfast?"

"Okay daddy."

I watch as she runs off. So I get out of bed and walk downstairs and see my wife cooking breakfast, and Andy (Andrew) doing what looks to be last minute homework.

"Hey Trixie and Andy."

"Good morning dad, can Jack come by after school?"

"Um, let me ask Aaron, but why are you doing homework, I thought you said last night you finished it?"

"Oh because Spencer baby, he said he woke up and was getting everything for school ready and saw it."

"Okay thanks babe. Hey Andy, do you need help?"

"No dad, almost done."

"Okay buddy just let me know. Also Trixie Everlee wanted to stay home but we got to a compromise. Which is that I will get her before lunch and we have a father-daughter day."

"She never wants to leave school early or not go at all. Is she okay?"

"I don't know, and I get where you're coming from. I will try to get it out of her."

"Okay just let me know. Can you go and wake Abby up."

"Yeah I can, did Kate stay over last night?"

"No she didn't, her father came and got her late last night."

"Oh okay, guess his shift wasn't as long as he thought it was going to be."

"Yeah."

So I walk upstairs to my oldest room, and knock.

"Come in dad."

So I did, and I saw her putting her school stuff in her bag.

"Hey Abby, did you sleep well?"

"Yeah I did dad. Do you need me to walk Andy with me?"

"Yeah you can. Your mother will take Everlee since I still have to get ready and you have to get to school in like 35 minutes so hurry up and come down and get some breakfast."

"Okay dad, be down in a minute."

I smile and walk downstairs.

"Hey Trix, Abby asked if she was going to walk Andy and I told her yes."

"Okay honey."

15 minutes later

"Alright kids lets go to school, Andy you will walk to school with Abby. I will take you Evie, I will take you to school."

"Okay mom. By mom, by dad, love you."

"Love you too." Me and my wife said at the same time.

"Alright Evie, go get your bag and say bye to your dad and then we will leave."

"Okay mommy."

Trixie left the room, she must be going to get her bag. That is when Evie comes running back in the kitchen and jumps in my lap. I'm glad I'm done eating.

"By daddy, can't wait for our day together."

"Me either, honey. Have a good day at school, love you."

"I will try" she whispers the try, huh I wonder "love you too daddy."

"Hey honey why did you say that you would try?"

"Because daddy I had a bad dream."

"I thought you said you had a good sleep."

"I didn't want you to worry or be mad."

"Oh honey I will never be mad at you, and you will be safe okay."

"Okay daddy."

"Love you."

"Love you daddy."

"Alright you ready Evie?"

"Yeah I am, daddy said I would be okay."

I see she looks confused and I know she is about to ask me what so I tell her first.

"She said she had a bad dream, and told me she had a good one. She also said that she didn't want to worry or make me mad, but I told I would never get mad at her."

"Oh honey, you will be okay and if not you can tell the teacher and she will call me or your dad."

"Okay mommy."

"Alright let's go, you don't want to be late. Spencer by I love you."

"Love you too baby."

I say as I give her a kiss.

After they left I cleaned the kitchen and went upstairs and got ready.

45 minutes later

Finally now I have to get to work. so I go out and get in my state issue black out van and head to work. I normally don't take my car home but my car is in the shop and Aaron told me to take the van, So I did.

Now I am walking in and I see Emily and Derek walking over with smiles on their faces. Oh I know that look it is the look that tells me that they set me up again, this is the 10 time this month. How do they know that many single people, I can kinda understand Derek but Emily.

"Hey guys, how are you today?"

"OH i'm good, me and Emily have this mutual friend named Anna and she is single and love to go on a dat-"

"I'm going to stop you there now okay. I don't want a date, I like to search for me because I like them. I don't want to be set up."

"Okay Spencer but if you need help me and Emily can help you."

"Okay thanks Derek, you too Emily."

"You welcome Spencer."

I head and put my stuff down at my desk and head up to Aaron's office.

Knock, knock I knocked on his door.

"Come in," I heard him say so I walked in.

"Hey Aaron, I have 2 questions."

"Alright Spencer hit me."

"Okay first Andrew wants Jack to come over after school."

"I think we do that, what is the other question?"

"So um Everlee wants me to get her early from school today, so could I leave at 11am or before?"

"You can leave at 10:30, but what is going on, she never wants to leave early?"

"Well, Everlee had a nightmare and didn't tell me until she was about to leave. I guess it was something bad, I want to talk to her about it when I get her. Trixie even asked the same question, "I think she is worried too, I know I am too."

"Well I am too. Please keep me updated."

"I will."

Before I even get to the door, my phone goes off and I see it is Evie's school. I looked at Aaron and showed him who it was, and he put it on speaker, and I did.

"Hello this is Spencer Reid, everything okay?"

"No, everything is not, Everlee came to me and said someone tried to lure her away with candy."

Me and Aaron look at each and he nods his head.

"Me and my team will be there soon."

"Okay Dr.Reid," and she hangs up.

"Let's go Spencer."

"Yeah," and we walk out and I hear Aaron tell the team we have a case for everyone to come including Penelope.

We get down to the car park and I get into the passenger seat of Aaron's car, with Aaron driving and Emily getting into the back with Rossi and Penelope. Derek said he and JJ will take his car since ours is full.

Why is there so much traffic?

"Come on move cars, I'm trying to get to my daughter."

Next thing I knew is that Emily said what, and a big crashing sound and everything went black.

Derek Morgan's POV:

"Hey JJ please tell me Michael don't go to this school."

"He doesn't, we didn't have money for a private school, plus this a gifted private school. Also I don't think Michael's grades are not good enough to be accepted into this school."

"I'm glad this is not his, and I don't even know why they would have a gifted school for primary years."

"I can see why you say that, but there are some primary school kids that are bored and need a school like this."

"I see where you are coming, I'm just afraid they are pushing these kids too much."

"I understand."

That is when our ear piece came on and Spencer's voice came through and said "Come on move cars, I'm trying to get to my daughter."

Me and JJ looked at each other and said "What?" 

Then we hear a crash and look up and slam on our brakes when we see Spencer and Emily side of the suv get t-boned and the car flip like three times.

"I don't think all of them are going to walk away from that." I hear JJ say and I agree I just don't want it to be true.

"I just hope that they are all okay."

"I agree we need to call this in and arrest the driver that hit them, I think it was intentionally."

"Yeah, do you think it was the guy that tried to kidnap Spencer's kid?"

"Could be, do one of us need to go and tell the school and tell the school what happened so they can call the mother?"

"Yeah I think that is a good idea, but you should be the one to go to the school, I think you would be too emotional."

"Okay get out and I will go."

So I hop out and she comes to the drivers side and gets in and I watch her drive away. Then I called the accident in and said it involved federal agents.

So now I am running to the car that hit them. I look in and I don't see how he got away without me or JJ seeing him. That is when I see a bloody trail and cops pulling up I yell and tell them to go and follow it while I go and check on my team.

I run to the side that Spencer and Emily are on . I see a deep gash on Emily's neck and I check her pulse and I don't feel it. I feel tears going down my cheeks. I can't stop now. I have to check on the others. So I go to Spencer next and I feel a lot of blood on him so I check his pulse and I feel one faint but it's there. I can't get to the others but I hear Rossi ask what happened.

"Rossi you were in a car wreck, I can't check on Aaron or Penelope, Spencer has a faint pulse and Emily is dead."

"No no no no, I can check on Penelope but not Aaron."

"Okay I see the ambulance so I will go and flag them down."

When I hop back done, I hear Rossi call out saying that Penelope has a pulse.

"Hey hurry up, I can't check on the driver. My team leader's name is Aaron. Another teammate Spencer is in the passenger side; he has a faint pulse and blood all over him. Rossi, another teammate who is awake and talking said the teammate beside Penelope has a pulse and I checked on the other one Emily. She is dead."

"Okay thanks sir were you in the car?"

"No, I was the one behind my partner who went ahead to the school."

"Okay just wait over there by the cops until we can get them out and to the hospital."

"Okay just help them."

"We will do all we can."

JJ's POV:

I'm driving to school with the lights on now I have to get there as soon as I can. Spencer could be dead. and this little girl could lose her father.

Finally I get here and I see a cop car outside, so I park right out front and rush to the front door and push the button to get let in.

"How can I help you?" A voice came over the speaker.

"Oh I'm agent Jareau. I work with BAU, something happened and I need to talk to the principal."

"Show me your badge."

Good for them to have a good system to not let just anyone in. So I show them my badge and I hear the door unlock and them saying come in.

I walk in and am met with a security officer waiting. He takes me to the office where I see a cop and then he leads me to the principal's office.

"Hello agent Jareau, i'm Annie Smith. What happened, and do you need to talk to me?"

"Agent Spencer Reid, along with Agent Aaron Hotchner, Agent David Rossi, Agent Emily Prentiss, and Penelope Garcia, was together in agent Aaron Hotchner's car. They were t-boned on Spencer Reid's side. I need you to get in touch with Spencer's daughter's mother."

I see her gasp and a tear fall down her face.

"I will call her right away."

I see her get her phone and click on a number and put her phone against her ear.

Trixie Reid's POV:

I am sitting here at the nurses office waiting for lab results for a patient to give to the doctor, when a nurse said turn on the tv to the news channel and so we did. When we did I saw a black SUV that looked like it could belong to Spencer or his team, on its side, I felt my heart beat going up.

Then the news person said "That had six people in the car on their way to a private school, that is the only information we have. No wait, we just got word that one is dead."

That is when my phone vibrated and took it out and saw it was my Everlee's school, so I answered it and I heard the principal's voice come through.

"Hey Trixie, it's Annie, something had happened with your daughter, and your husband was coming to the school to get her with his team. He never made it and we were wondering why, when one of his teammates named agent Jareau came and said he was in a c-" I cut her off when I see Spencer come on a stretcher with bandages on him. "I know he just came in."

That is all I can say because everything went dark.

Chapter Text

Cyrus Jones's POV: (my original character)

I'm 12 years old and my parents are taking me to Disney World. I can't wait. The only way I can go is if I stay the night with my grandma. I don't want it to be that I hate or dislike her. It's because she hates my mom. She thinks her son and my father married the wrong person. 

She thinks my mom is using my father, but she isn't. It can't be because of money, my dad doesn't have much. So I don't even know how my parents are taking me to Disney World. Maybe grandma helped.

They tell me to stay the night with grandma and try to get mom in her good graces. I don't know why. I wish that I did know. I want to help but I also want to know the whole truth.

"Son come on, your grandma is waiting on you."

"Coming dad."

So now I am walking downstairs with my small dufflebag filled with my stuff that I need overnight. When I get downstairs I see grandma she is smiling, then look over to mom and I see that her smile doesn't meet her eyes.

"Hey grandma, bye dad bye mom I love you both so so so much."

"We love you too Cyrus," both of my parents told me on my way out of the door.

20 minutes later we arrived at my grandma's house. We didn't talk in the car.

"Hey honey, what do you want for dinner?"

I looked up to see my grandma smile at me and it did meet her eyes.

"Can I have pizza and mac & cheese."

"Yeah you can, I bought you a new game to play and a board game for us to play."

"Okay thanks grandma but I have a question?"

"What is it honey?"

"Why do you hate my mom, and before you say anything I know, my parents told me."

I hear her let a sigh out.

"I think she used him, she used to be a criminal and before you ask I don't know what she did."

What, my mom was a criminal? She may have used my dad?

"What?"

20 minutes later.

So my dad met my mom when he was still a low level lawyer working with criminals and fell in love with her.

Julian Clarke's POV: (Cyrus's father, my original character)

So I need to say that my wife used to be a criminal, a drug runner for one of the biggest gangs in New York. The 99 they are named that because they are always 99% positive something like that.

I met her when my father got married to my stepmom, she needed help so I helped her and fell in love. I do not think she used me. She came back to New Jersey with me and my family. My father fell in love with her and my step mother liked her. My bio mother did not like her at all.

I think it's mainly that my father's love for her is the reason she hates her and her thinking she used me and her being a criminal helped it.

My beautiful wife's name is Hazel. Two years after meeting her I married her and she gave birth to my son a year later and his name is Cyrus-Leo. My father and stepmother died last year, they were in a car accident. It affected Cyrus a good bit. He didn't talk for three months after their deaths, I didn't know what to do. Hazel didn't either.

Now it comes to now. Hazel told me that there was a murder that happened and she witnessed it and didn't tell anyone that is why she came to me. She told me that she wanted to testify and she did. They arrested the guy and we even got reward money and took Cyrus to Disney World. 

What he doesn't know is that there was another person connected who just didn't have a name or evidence other than Hazel seeing him, a criminal in their eyes saw someone else so they didn't take her word to heart.

So we are leaving the country and I hope that mom will be okay with it.

Knock knock.

"I will get it honey."

"Okay Hazel."

That is when I hear her open the door and a loud bang. So now I am running downstairs and I see this guy and he lifts to point a gun to my head and another bang and everything goes black.

Cyrus Jones's POV:

That was 12 years ago. My parents were killed because my mother couldn't keep quiet and I would have never met Dr Reid or gotten adopted by Logan and Emilia Jones. Dr Reid told me that I would be okay, almost like he would be there to make sure that I was okay. But he was never there for me.

I was abused in that house and at times I thought they would kill me. That's why when I turned 18 I left home and never looked back. That is why I'm living in Quantico, Virginia. I left New Jersey and never looked backed. I chose Quantico because that is where Dr Reid told me that he lived and worked. 

I always hope to run into him and have words with him about what he did to me. I met my wife four years ago. Her name is Mabel and she is pregnant. I can't wait but I'm scared. Last week I saw my adopted father. He said he looked for me everywhere and finally found me and he said when found out that I was having a kid and said I would be like him.

Now I'm having nightmares. I haven't told my wife about it and what doesn't help is that same day I saw Dr Reid and clearly he has kids and one looks like she could have been a baby when he met me. That is why he lied and never helped me.

That is why I'm getting revenge. I stalked Dr Reid and found out that his youngest goes to the private school that is right across the road where Mabel works. So I tried to kidnap her, but it didn't work so I sent my cousin John to hit the car that Dr Reid was in. I knew they would call  him and I knew that his team and he would go to the school.

John called and told me that he was hurt and bleeding. He probably left a blood trail to kill my cousin. Oh I forgot to tell you that in the years since I left home I found out that a cop killed my parents and the 99 helped out.

They weren't too pleased with me coming to them but after I explained my reasoning they helped me out if I helped them out. They wanted me to kill a rat so I did and they gave me what they knew which wasn't much since the cop wasn't really around and gave them a fake name. They also said that the guy that was arrested knew him the most.

I couldn't just go and see him in jail. That wouldn't be too good. So now I know what to do after I kill my cousin. I will go and kidnap another cop's kid and kill the kid and instead of money I will get information.

"Hey man i'm bleeding a lot I got hurt in the cra-" "BANG." 

John's body then dropped and I ran and went back to my wife's job. 

"Hey babe what is happening over at the school?"

"Oh hey babe, I don't know."

"Okay, I'm going to go back to your office. I have to call my grandma."

"Okay, tell her I said hey."

I nodded at her.

On the phone

Hey grandma John screwed up I had to kill him

That's okay I will act sad when your aunt Amy gets told

Okay I have a idea on how to get more info

Okay what is it?

I'm going to kidnap a cops kid and kill the kid if the cop won't give me any information

That is a good idea start with a FBI agent

Will do and Mabel says hey

Tell her I said hey and I can't wait to meet my great grandchild 

Will do

So I walk back to my wife

"Hey babe she says hey back and that she can't wait to meet the baby."

"I bet she can't."

Derek Morgan's POV:

I just got to the hospital and they say they can't tell me how they are going since I'm not family. The only thing they told me is that Spencer's wife is in the ER. She passed out and they said since she is part of the case we are working on that they can take me to her.

So now I'm standing on the other side of the curtain thinking of how I'm going to talk to her. I think I know how to do it. I move the curtain and walk in and close the curtain behind me and she looks up and says.

"Hello Derek."

JJ's POV:

After Anna, the principal told me that Spencer's wife, yeah wife, had passed out and that it would be best for me to take Everlee to her mother. Since Spencer couldn't. That is why I am now on my way to the guidance counselor office to talk to Everlee.

I walk in and see a little girl that you can tell is Spencer's kid. Wow can't believe Spencer has three kids yeah the principal told me he had two other kids, and a wife. 

"Hey Everlee, my name is Jennifer. I work with your father."

I see her start to breathe fast and so I reach out to touch her to calm her but that is when she breathes faster and passes out. I look at Anna and she tells me to take her to the hospital. So now I am on my way to the hospital. I got the other officer to drive Derek's SUV while I sat in the back holding Everlee.

Cyrus Jones's POV:

I got the perfect kid to kidnap a Nick Brown age 10. His father is the captain of the FBI team. Father Eric should have ways to get the information that I need.

I found the kid at a playground. He came with this girl in her mid 20s to kill and grab.

"Hello ma'am I can't find my daughter's stuffed animal. Can you help me? SHe might have left it in the bathroom, can you check?"

"Oh of course I can. Just give me a second."

I nod.

"Hey Nick, I'm going to help this man find his daughter's stuffed animal where I can see you."

"Okay Mia." So Mia is her name that will come in handy.

Soon as she walked in the bathroom I walked in and slit her throat. It was easy now to grab the kid.

"Hey Nick, Mia was attacked. She asked me to get you to safety. I wish I could have helped her."

I see him get scared and nod his head okay so I hold my hand out and he takes it. That was easy.
