Milly POV

It was a chilly morning, the brisk wind hitting her face as she set foot onto the unfamiliar grounds of the campus. Milly wondered why they had to even be up this early, to move in, that's why.
So, despite being done with life, she starts her first day of college. She's never really interacted with people much, shut-in loser, you may say, being homeschooled her whole life has really made an impact, apparently.
Despite that, she already had a few friends. Dakota, Child, even Shard. She made sure to keep their phone numbers, just in case.
One person she has officially HATED was CofiBean. One of Dakota and Child’s friends, apparently.
She met her for a brief moment when she met the others. But just her existence made her skin crawl.
Suddenly, a voice snapped her out of her thoughts,
“Hey!”
It was Child; she wasn't mad, she showed up, but not overjoyed either, especially since she wasn't alone.
“Oh! Didn't expect to see you here! I'm just about to head in to unpack.. heh…”
“I can help with that! Me and Dakota have already finished unpacking, so I'm pretty much free!”
“Do you know who you’re sharing a dorm with yet?” Shard asked.
“Oh! Yeah, actually that'd be great! And uhh no, actually, I really hope it's not someone bad… Wait here… is Dakota anyway-”
Before she could finish her sentence, the brash Dakota showed up… as if saying her name would summon her.
“Did someone say DAKOTA?”
She says, somehow appearing right behind Child.
I wonder if you can say her name 3 times and she'll appear like Beetlejuice…
“Actually, this time, yeah, I just offered to help Milly here unpack, wanna join me?”
Child adds, happy to see her for once
“Nope! I want to go get food, if you'll excuse me.”
Dakota says, walking past all of them
“Oh! Well… uhh, Shard, you wanna help..?”
“Yeah! If that’s okay with Milly, of course.”
“Oh- uh yeah! I need all the help I can get!”
Child grabs a bag and walks ahead of them into the campus building. Soon following her are Shard and Milly.

“Fucking FINALLY!”
Milly says, flopping onto the floor, they haven't even STARTED unpacking. The elevators had just broken, and they had to drag all of her 100 stuffies up the stairs.
“You’re overreacting, we haven't even started unpacking yet!”
Child says rolling her eyes, not feeling a bit of pity for her
“Oh well, we’ve already got the stuffies up here, so there's no point in making a big fuss now.”
Shard says, despite leaning on the wall, obviously a bit tired too
“Child, shush. Can y'all just unpack it all for me…”
Milly groans, still on the floor.
“Nope!”
Child grabs a large stuffie, and throws it full force at Milly
“Bitch-!”

After fighting… a lot.. they finally get her luggage unpacked
Shard, now tired, face plants into Milly's new bed.
“Are we done yet…”
“Finally, yeah.”
Child says who decided to sit at the board of the bed with Milly, who decided to lie down on the floor instead
“Y'all ever notice that the other bed ain't even here yet..? Just me..”.
Child says, standing up
“Wait, wha-”
“Oh well! That's your problem, c'mon, Shard, I'm hungry!”
Child says forcefully grabbing their hand and dragging them
“Woah, hold on a minute? Where are we even going?”
“You'll find out!”
Their voices fade as they go farther into the hall
Milly is now there, sitting at the board of her bed when her new roommate opens the door that was previously shut..
No way in hell is she rooming with her!

There stood Cofi, just as surprised as Milly was.
“No fucking way.”
