Introduction
After her fourth year at Hogwarts, Hayley Potter has finally had enough. She's tired of the Dursleys' abuse, the manipulation of certain figures in the magical world, and the way the wizarding public turns on her the moment she steps out of line.
When she discovers a legal loophole that allows her to break free from the Dursleys, she seizes the opportunity and moves to Forks, Washington, in hopes of a fresh start. But as she soon finds out, Forks has secrets of its own—and she might be stepping straight from one supernatural storm into another.
Will Hayley find the peace she's been craving, or is she destined to be pulled deeper into the world of magic, monsters, and mystery?
Story Overview
This story begins during the summer after Hayley's fourth year at Hogwarts and follows her journey as she moves to Forks and becomes entangled in the supernatural events surrounding the small town.
Setting: The story is set in 2015 rather than the original timelines. (Harry Potter is shifted 20 years forward—1995 becomes 2015—and Twilight is updated by about 11–12 years from its 2003–2004 setting.)
Technology and Cultural References: Expect modern technology, slang, and culture reflective of 2015.
School Year: Hayley will be 15 and entering her freshman year at Forks High School.
Canon Divergence: This is an AU (alternate universe) fanfiction. Characters may behave differently than in canon, and some events may be altered, reordered, or omitted altogether to suit the new timeline and story arc.
Example: Bella will discover Jacob's secret during the events of Twilight, not New Moon.
