Screaming. Crying. The transformations were painful. Experiment 89014 was scared of the scientists, although she and experiment 748920 were there all they're lives. Experiment 89014 was 3 and experiment 748920 was 4. "Hey.", came the soft voice of her companion. "we need names...." "N-names?" that stutter was hers. "Yes, names..." "OK...." Her friend smiled at that. "we should name each other", said her friend. "You should be called Gemma." Gemma.... She could live with that. :Then you will be.." The newly named Gemma thought for a moment and brightened up. "Izumi!" Izumi gave a rare smile. Gemma had no idea how soon she would miss those smiles.....
"LEAVE HER ALONE!!" That was Izumi, standing in front of Gemma to shield her. The most cruel scientist, Akuma, was trying to combine DNA from Gemma and her little sister, Sky, who was only a baby but was unable to age for years after turning 3. Akuma then put the needle away, but grabbed a knife. Gemma's face went pale, but Izumi managed to hide her own fear, when both of the girls were terrified. It all happened so fast. Akuma stabbing the knife into Izumi's heart, Izumi falling, Akuma leaving, blood, so much blood.
Gemma was desperately trying to stop the bleeding when Izumi gently moved her hand away. "It's too late, Gemma..." Izumi's voice had scared acceptance in it as she broke off her right horn tip and used her quirk. The horn tip turned into a necklace with a moon pendant, designed to had Gemma's cat features. She then broke off her left horn and gave it to Gemma, along with another piece of her right horn. "please don't spend your life here....I only wish we had met as normal kids...." The light died out of Izumi's eyes after she spoke those last words and Gemma cried harder than ever.
The lights were all out. It was late, and the power was out. 'This is my chance...' With that thought, Gemma grabbed the horn, horn piece, and necklace. She then used her claws to climb up to the vent and climbed into it, closing the vent door behind her. It was dark and cramped, but she finally got out of that nightmare of a place. "I'm free...." with that, Gemma ran out into civilization, wearing her necklace and carrying the horns.
