Impulse stares at the apparition of Bdubs. He's not really there, he's on a horse somewhere out there within the border.
"You remember that clock? I never forgave you."
The red king was dead, and his hand soon to follow, both slain by Scars blade. The main war was over. But as Impulse walked through the bloodied, abandoned base that was dogwarts, a terrible realisation hit him. Bdubs was left alone with Scar and Grian. Now that Ren and Martyn were gone, there was no reason to be allied anymore.
Impulse rushed over to the crastle as fast as he could. He can't let the last member of his day one alliance die. He saw the three by the crastle, talking.
"Hey, guys. We cool?"
Impulse panted as he spoke, having ran over here all the way from dogwarts.
"Impulse, they gave me a clock."
"That's nice-"
Impulse halted once he felt the sharp stinging of cold metal against his side.
"Wh-hey?!"
Impulse tried to fight back, he desperately did. But he had been cut off guard by the suprise attack that he soon fell to Bdubs blade. His last ally on this server who had just buried his sword deep in his side.
Impulse woke up almost instantly but something was different. He was almost ghostlike and he was surrounded by everyone who had fallen, allies, friends, enemies. Everyone. And he watched the final fights of this game. He watched as BigB was slain by Bdubs, and, impulse hates to admit it, he felt a strange sense of bitter satisfaction as Scar turned his blade on Bdubs. Betrayal from the one he betrayed for. Poetic really.
And impulse carried that grudge silently throught every season. He knows its silly. No one else carried grudges this long, apart from cleo. But it seemed silly to impulse to voice that grudge.
And so, he stares at the lifeless apparition of Bdubs and voices everything he's too guarded to say to his face.
