Wriothesley walked Neuvillette onto a dock. Neuvillette was too busy overlooking the shore, softly playing with his unoccupied hand, his other hand holding Wriothesley’s.
Seeing the waves meet the shore made Neuvillette very happy. He couldn’t help but softly stim by flexing his fingers in delight or attempting to crack his knuckles over and over again.
Soon Wriothesley tapped Neuvillette’s shoulder softly signing to him ‘I know you have been busy, so I planned a little date for us.’ He pointed to the building at the end of the dock, a new Aquarium that many Marine Biologists had a hand in.
Wriothesley watched as he saw Neuvillette’s eyes sparkled, he made soft happy noises. He pulled his other hand away from Wriothesley’s to clasp his hand together and play with his fingers happily as he processed his emotions.
Neuvillette carefully signed back ‘An Aquarium! Thank you so much, my love!’ He hugged the black and grey haired man lovingly as they walked in together, hand in hand.
They spent the whole day looking at the exhibits. Neucillete stared in awe at the large moon jelly fish before taking a picture of them with his Kamera. He also spent quite a while looking at the Cephalopods exhibit snapping photos of a specific ‘funny looking squid’ in the words he signed to Wriothesley.
His favorite exhibit however was the otters. He happily made loud noises of joy as he watched the otters play and splash in the water. Multiple times Wriothesley had to remind him of his noise level and to keep in mind the other people in the Aquarium could hear.
Neuvillette’s favorite otter had to be a small brown one named “Henry” who swam in circles for treats.
But the trip had to end at some point and the two headed to the front near the gift shop. Wriothesley insisted they looked around for a bit so Neuvillette agreed. As the two split up to look around better Neuvillette grew confused when his boyfriend returned with a rather large bag.
‘Gift, for you.’ Wriothesley signed before pulling out a cute mission sized otter plushie. Neuvillette loudly giggled in happiness as he held the plushie close to his chest. He looked up and kissed his boyfriend lovingly. ‘I love you’ and Wriothesley simply responded with another kiss.
