Hi lovies,

I just wanted to do a little background check on Raine girlie for y'all so that in those flashbacks and coming ones, you'll understand a little of they're history more:)

Raine and Leon were able to grow up together in the same community for a little while, meaning they went to same elementary school. They become really good friends sharing a love for mystery/action comics. Right before middle school starts, just like Leon, Raine is also orphaned but due to a hardworking father (I won't say good father😬) dying and abusive drug addicted mother going to prison for the murder of her father. Traumatizing right?😬Good news, she does eventually get adopted by the time she turns 13, and lives a pretty decent life from there on.

With the both Leon and Raine being orphaned and put into into system, Raine up until high school wrote Leon letters as long as his social worker promised to keep sending Raine addresses. Sadly, they lose touch with each other after Leon gets a new social worker.

By the time Raine reached high school, she learns in full what happened in her earlier years of life, when her foster parents allowed her to have a conversation with her her biological mother. That ultimately resulted of a switch in Raine. She thought she'd wanted to be school teacher..but she would choose to go to a community college for a year to take a psychology course, then off to the academy in which she'd started training in ROTC as a elective in high school.

Oh academy eh? Was it the same one Leon would later attend!! YES. U R CORRECT. You're so smart🤭

Anyways, they get to see each other again, kinda rekindle that friendship, then something happens between them resulting in a distanced connection:( Raine also decides she wants to become a behavioral Analyst, so she transfers yet again, without a word to Leon. Yikes. She was..in other words "the girlfriend that broke up with Leon that made him get depressed and go drink the day before starting his new job as a police officer in raccoon city which causes him to be late"..but like his not really girlfriend. They had a thing...both of them were stupid poo poo heads that didn't go for each other-

But it's okay! Because they meet again:) HERE:) and not only is Raine a BA, she had an exceptional amount of whatever it takes to be a agent! YAY🥳 she also got bank now. Whew😮‍💨 can I get a amen for our beautiful black ladies that's getting what they deserve. What women deserve in literal!! If u feel it's not here yet babes, don't worry, it's coming!!

Me nd yo daughterrrrr, got sumting goin onnn'!!

"So...how's it like girl? Ya' know, being a newlywed and all?"

"Raine?"

"Oh..ahh, sorry! What were you asking?" I responded asking. I didn't realize I was that distracted.

My coworkers gives a small laugh. "Been there alright. I was asking how's marriage life going, being married to the agency's golden boy?"

Ahh..right. Almost forgot about 6 months ago, I married a guy. A really uhh- dutiful hero kind of guy. The D.S.O's golden boy at that..heh never going to live that one down.

"Well uhh..it's a bit more different then I thought it would be." I respond, considering the fact Leon is never actually at home.

"Well, ya' know what they say: people who work in this field marry in this field. It all makes sense too."

"Haha." I say with a hoaxed smile. The hell does that mean? Social battery officially running out.

"I just meant he probably appreciates you, because you know how he feels. It's a tough job. " She said trying to clarify her statement.

"BAHAH! You're actually wrong. None of us get married because we're pretty much mentally ill, unstable, backstabbing manipulators." The guy next to the woman jokes.

"Oh would you shut up, you're not helping!" She yells back.

The question is..is he really joking though?

Mrs. Kennedy. You have a call." Says the telephone operator a desk away. Great save..anymore marriage questions and I was going to have to take a day off.

"Excuse me. I'll be back." I say exiting from my desk.

I walk out the double doors pulling my phone out.
Secret stuff in the main workroom so a cellular device, especially a personal one, is a no-go.

"Hi hon!" I say nervously. Why? you ask..

"Oh hey! Did you eat yet? Wanna grab a bite?"

"It's been 3 days since I've last heard your voice and instead of telling me you're home, you want food?" I chuckle.

This is precisely while I'm nervous. With our jobs- with his job it's just like that between us. I don't get the cuddles every night after a long day, and I definitely don't get to wake up beside him every morning.

"...sounds about right..so?" He waits for an answer.

"Text the addy, I'll be there in 20. Later!" I say excitedly. I didn't want him to make fun of me so I hung up before he could say bye:p

Hi guys, I write this story on wattpad in sections and am very new to A03. I hope you enjoy it and bare with me as I learn how to use A03!! over the last 2 years I've distanced from fan fictions because I wanted to mainly focus on my actual book I'm working on Tales of Astraeus (go read it btw😉) but Leon Kennedy decided to become idk majestic as heck like the world has fallen in love w this man and now yeah...I may have a minor obsession with him🤪.

So RE references and tings will be used. I am slowly trying to educate myself on this career. It's quite interesting :)
