Xilonen was in a tree taking a nap. She finally had a day off and was able to relax. She was enjoying the afternoon sun was she heard someone call her name below, and she groaned.
“Oh Xilonen!” Mavuika called from below.
“Mavuika, go away, it's my day off. You’re motorcycle can take a day off from you riding it,” Xilonen said.
“I know it’s your day off, that's why I came here. I don’t need repairs, I just want to take you out. It’s been a hot minute since we had a date.” Mavuika said.
That perked Xilonen’s ears. Mavuika and Xilonen had been dating in secret for quite some time, and since the Traveler showed up in Natlan, it had been a while since the two of them had a date night.
“Hmm… Okay, but if you bring up anything work-related, I will leave,” Xilonen said.
Xilonen slowly descends from the tree. Once she is on the ground, she walks over to Mavuika and kisses her.
“I promise I won’t mention anything like it. I just want to take you out on a date. It’s been so long, and now Natlan is no longer in danger, so we can do it again,” Mavuika said.
“Ok… So what were you thinking?” Xilonen asked.
“Alright, I already have everything planned. First, we go to the People of the Springs for a spa treatment.” Mavuika started. Then we go over to the stadium to do a little shopping, then finally ending the night over in the Collect of Plenty for dinner.” Mavuika added.
Xilonen was nodding along with everything Mavuika was saying. It genuinely sounded like a nice date.
“Alright, let's do it,” Xilonen said.
Mavuika smiled, then grabbed Xilonen by her hand and ran towards the People of the Springs area. They made it to where they are gonna get their spa treatment. The masseuse gave them a change of clothes, which they both changed into.
While they were both getting their massage, Mavuika sparked up a conversation.
“So, Xilonen, are you ready for the resort to open up?” Mavuika asked.
“Yeah, I am, I think it will be a nice vacation from everything that has happened over the past few months,” Xilonen said.
“I am too. I am waiting for someone to come to Natlan.” Mavuika said.
“Oh, who?” Xilonen asked.
“I won’t go into too much detail, but we are gonna have to guest from Mondstadt visiting us. One of them is the anemo archon.” Mavuika said.
“Oh, the anemo archon? I thought he wasn’t present.” Xilonen said. “At least that's what I heard from clients before who commissioned me from Mondstadt,” Xilonen explained.
“Yeah, I won’t say his name, because he prefers to be pretty private about it, but he knows the Traveler and I’ve been wanting to meet for some time now,” Mavuika said.
“It’s cool he’s coming to Natlan. Is there a reason for his visit?” Xilonen asked.
“Like I said, I won’t go into too much detail, but he’s traveling with another. He said this person he’s traveling with might be from Natlan.” Mavuika said.
“Oh wow. That’s gonna be interesting to see.” Xilone said.
“I agree,” Mavuika replied.
They continued to talk and got done with their massages. After that, they stepped into a hot spring.
“Oh, the water is so warm. Don’t you agree?” Mavuika asked.
Xilonen didn’t answer because she was so focused on the water.
“Hmm… so warm,” Xilonen said.
Mavuika couldn’t help but giggle at Xilonen. Mavuika moved closer to Xilonen and gave her a forehead kiss.
“Enjoying the water?” Mavuika asked.
“Every much so,” Xilonen stated.
Mavuika soaked her hair in the water.
“Don’t turn on your hair. The water is warm enough,” Xilonen said.
Mavuika giggled and sat back up.
“I won’t do it until we get out. I just wanted to get my hair wet because of how nice it feels,” Mavuika explained.
Xilonen and Mavuika chatted for a while, then when the warmer got a little too warm. They got out and changed their clothes. Mavuika held Xilonen’s hand and took her to the Staidum. They explored the shops the two bought each other gifts.
Xilonen was getting hungry, so they left for the Collective of Plenty. Mavuika showed the way to the restaurant. Xilonen and Mavuika sat down and ordered around of drinks. Mavuika ordered a sunset marg while Xilonen ordered a Phlogiston cocktail.
“So Mavuika, what do you think about getting?” Xilonen asked.
“I don’t know just yet. What do you think about getting?” Mavuika questioned.
“Hmm, I think I’ll get this!” Xilonen said.
Xilonen pointed down at the written menu. Xilonen was pointing at a seafood platter.
“Oh, do you want to get the biggest platter? We can share it.” Mavuika suggested.
Xilonen nodded.
“Sure, we can do that.” Xilonen agreed.
They ordered the seafood platter and had a few more rounds of drinks while waiting for their food to arrive.
“Is there anything you want to do after this, Mavuika?” Xilonen asked.
Mavuika took one more sip from her drink and then put it down.
“Yeah, I have one more idea,” Mavuika said.
“Care to share?” Xilonen questioned.
“Let me think about it… No,” Mavuika said.
“Yet another surprise? You are spoiling me, Mavuika.” Xilonen stated.
“Hehe, but of course, you are my favorite girl,” Mavuika said.
Xilonen blushed. Xilonen put her hand in front of her face to hide it. After that, their food finally arrived. They ate their dinner. Once they were done, Mauvika paid the bill and headed up to a cliff to watch the sunset.
“Thank you, Mavuika… this was a nice date. I- huh?” Xilonen stopped her sentence and turned around.
Mavuika was on her knee.
“Xilonen, I know we haven’t been dating for that long… But I don’t see myself with anyone but you.” Mavuika started. “You’ve made my life so much brighter. Xilonen… Will you marry me?” Mavuika added.
Mavuika then pulled out a ring.
“Oh, you sneaky b- I made that ring, you had this commissioned… Yes, I do,” Xilonen said.
Mavuika put a ring on Xilonen's finger. Mavuika also stood up and walked over to kiss Xilonen.
“I love you so much, Xilonen,” Mavuika said.
“I love you too, Mavuika,” Xilonen replied.
Mauvika hugged Xilonen as the moon rose.
“Oh… Xilonen,” Mavuika said. “My bike needs repair…” she added.
“MAVUIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
