Work Text:

Lily Evans wasn't much of a drinker.

Belive it or not, she didn't find it as fun as her friends did, but when you have a whole party to survive, alcohol is always a good way to scape. So now, after lots of shots, she's very drunk, laughing at every joke that Mary does and looking over her shoulder to see if anyone is slightly attractive to her.

Lily has never been like her friends, who had been in multiple relationships or talking stages; no, she was a bit more reserved and skeptical about it, even when it was a casual one. Not tonight, however.

It was her last summer being a teenager and she hadn't experienced what a drunk kissing was, and eventhough she could live without it, if the opportunity arises she won't turn it down.

It's not a surprise when Marlene sees Dorcas outside the club and decides to go and greet her, they've been dating for at least a month now and surprisingly, the girl is very nice and friendly, considering the people she hangs out with.

Don't get her wrong, alright? James is dating Regulus since god knows when, but they've been hiding it from Sirius, so they don't interact much in public. Lily only knows about their relationship because one day, while everyone was smoking marijuana at James's house, she accidentally walked into his room and found them making out. She promised not to say a word if they promised to do her favors from time to time, so here they are.

Now everything is different, because Marlene and Dorcas are quite open about their relationship, and really want their friends to get along.

Lily exchanges a glace with James when they arrive, knowing James will go sit next to Regulus in the floor, who seems to have drunk a bit more of what he should. Remus and Sirius had disappeared (again), and she doesn't give them a second thought. Dorcas is greeting everyone with a soft smile while she lets Marlene hug her from the back. Peter is vomiting in a corner, he will probably be back in a couple of more minutes.

Lily looks at Mary, who is already looking at her and smiles.

"Do you want a cig, Lils?" Mary asks as she stars looking for the small box in her pants.

"Its always a pleasure" But when she looks at Mary's expression, she knows the idea of having a nice cigarette is gone.

"I should have lost it while dancing, shit"

Lily doesn't care, their last box of cigarettes was shit, it tasted bad and didn't made any effect, she won't be missing them.

And so, Lily finds herself asking Barty for a cigarette, who looks at her with a cocky smile before start to rolling a cigarette, because of course he smoked roll-your-own instead of industrial cigarettes.

She has smoked a lot lately, but this is probably the best one yet, it tastes just like heaven and is making her feel quite dizzy, it's literally perfect. After a couple of drags, she finds herself dancing with Mary and Barty, although the club's music is barely audible where they are.

Evan is trying to cling to Barty, but he keeps pushing him aside. They were dating at some point, Lily barely remembers it, because it was just a famous rumor for some time, now they were toxic exes. And Lily got Evan, Barty was kinda attractive, his personality and his physical was...definitely something else.

Before she knows how, Lily is walking towards a park talking with Barty and Mary about the new boyfriend of her friend; Barty seems quite interested, making questions and giving advise to her. Her drunk mind is just capable of thinking of how sweet it seems and how Bartys hands are really pretty.

Sitting in the grass, Mary by her side, she absorbs the situation:

Dorcas and Marlene are making out just infront of them, but no one is really paying attention to them.

Barty and Regulus are in a strange fight, throwing themselves at each other and knocking each other to the ground while everyone laughs at the sight, as if it were the most normal thing to do.

James is sitting with them, but he's too busy staring at Regulus's bare midriff to really concentrate on a conversation.

Pandora is telling them something about how her parents can't tell she smokes, while her brother Evan looks at Barty with a yearning look.

The night is young and so they are, but when Sirius and Remus come back, they both go directly to the fountain, starting to wimp their mouths with water and spitting it out, Lily rolls her eyes at how undisguised her friends are.

At some point, Mary is taked away by Barty, and Evan starts complaining about how he's probably going to make up with her. Lily feels bad for Evan, she really does, he's not her friend at all, but she's really sympathetic and understands what is like to see the person you love not loving you back anymore.

In that short period of time, Evan tells Lily about his relationship with Barty, how he fell in love with him, how he was the love of his life, how good the sex was and how much he missed him, Evan also tells her how Barty had cursed him sober for being too annoying and then apologized when he felt bad.

Lily has always thought Barty is a pain in the ass to everyone who gets close to him; he smokes pot, drinks whenever he can, and has the emotional responsibility of a brick.

But he's handsome, so when he touches Lily's shoulder and asks to speak privately, she already knows what's coming.

"The night is really pretty, a bit cold for my taste" Barty says while her puts his hands on his pockets.

"Hm" Is all what Lily replies, because she's too drunk to dare to speak without letting her tongue sliping.

"Not much of a talkative person?" Barty ask with a grin, smiling from ear to ear.

"Not when I don't have anything to say"

"I talked to Mary about you, I want to kiss you badly, do you want to kiss me too? Without any compromise, of course" And Lily is surprised, not because of the question, she knew something was up from the moment Barty give her the cigarette, but because he seems a bit shy and insecure.

"Just...just don't let Evan see, alright?"

Barty noods and starts walking with her to an empty alley, when their gazes lock, Lily can't help herself but ask.

"Why did you talk to Mary instead of just asking me directly?"

"I just...Mary is like your buddy, right? And, well, you're not so bad yourself, I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to embarrass myself" Barty replies.

Lily is shocked. Her drunk mind can't process what's happening and less what's Barty saying, so in her mind, the only conclusion she arrives to is that Barty is calling her ugly, which probably reflects on her expression because Barty talks again.

"What is true is true, you're not ugly"

And before he can say something worse that makes Lily regret it, she just kiss him.

At first, it's quiet. Barty seems to be trying to be sweet, cradling her face and kissing her like she's the only woman in the world. Lily wants to roll her eyes.

The kisses start to get messy, Lily's tongue brushing against Barty's lip. Barty seems a little hesitant, but quickly lets her in, his hand moving down to her waist.

She hangs on to his neck and lets him practically pin her against a wall, making her gasp before he continues kissing her like a thirsty man.

When Lily bites his lip for the first time, Barty's hand goes straight to her ass and begins squeezing it in time with the kisses. Once again, Barty seems pleasantly surprised, because he lets out a surprised gasp.

They continue like this for a while, until Lily feels Barty's free hand move to her neck and squeeze, leaving her without oxygen for a few moments. He pulls her towards him and kisses her even deeper. She lets out a moan of satisfaction that excites Barty, or so it seems.

They become a mass of limbs, their tongues dancing a dance only they know, their bodies colliding. Lily's gasps for air and pleasure are the soundtrack, and Barty's erection against her leg only confirms how much fun he's having.

"I'd do everything to you right now" Barty says, and Lily has to fight not to pull away or roll her eyes in embarrassment. Why do men think it's sexy to say things like that? It isn't.

Still, she needs this, a distraction, a casual encounter, a practiced tongue against her novice one, hands that run over her with confidence.

"Lily!" Mary's voice echoes in the alley, and they both groan in disappointment as they pull away, their lips red and swollen.

"Lily!" Regulus calls after her, as if they've always been the best of friends.

The two stare at each other for a moment before kissing vigorously again for a few moments, before pulling away and walking over to their friends.

Regulus wants alcohol, is the first thing he says to Lily, before turning to Barty and sticking his tongue out at him, because he knows he's ruined one of his best encounters.

Barty seems to have seen a unicorn, because his gaze is fixed on Lily with curiosity and surprise.

He follows her to stand beside her and puts an arm around her shoulders. It doesn't make her uncomfortable, but it amuses her. It's incredible how men will chase after those who aren't interested and leave those who can't do anything casual in the lurch.

Lily doesn't give it much thought, however; she simply returns to the club bar with her friends. She drinks with Regulus as if they've known each other forever. She dances with her friends, then dances with Barty, teasing him and then leaving him there.

She enjoys her night until dawn, going home and paying for each of her drinks by vomiting in the toilet at Mary's house.

BONUS:

Barty approaches Mary in the middle of the club, his gaze fixed on Lily, who is dancing animatedly with Marlene and Dorcas.

Regulus and James have hidden somewhere so they can kiss and touch each other in peace.

"Lily's an amazing kisser," Barty says, still with amazement in his voice, grinning like a fool.

"She's an amazing fuck too. She was born with a gift," Mary replies, because she's drunk and doesn't mince her words.

And so, one Friday night, Barty Crouch falls over heels for Lily Evans

Notes:

I'm just joking, all comments and constructive criticism is always appreciated.

This is based on a party night of mine, if anyone finds it really, really chaotic is because I really don't remember anything and wanted to make this as blurry as my memory is.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed!! Barty and Lily are one my my favorite rarepairs, so yeah.
