From near and afar the words, “my lady? Lady White Pearl? My lady, where have you gone!!” could be heard, wailing from an unknown source. A voice so haunting no sailor would dare sail the western Saccharine Sea. Ringing out in the distance, as if waiting for something. As if waiting for someone.
A kingdom as calm as the surrounding sea. A small maid cookie cleans in a castle all alone. She was seemingly unaware of what was happening around her. Her soft white tentacles swayed in the water as she tidied around the castle. The duster she held doing less than nothing, creating more mess than intended to clean. “The castle needs to be perfect for my lady’s arrival,” jellyfish cookie couldn’t help but mumble as she cleaned, “She must be getting here soon…” she trailed off.
Pausing, she turned around to face what she had been ignoring. What her mind was telling her to look away from. Gaping holes, everywhere the lingering marks of mass destruction staring back at her. The castle walls, ceiling, and floors were covered in eroded and crumbled scraps of what was. This is all that was left of all she knew. “W-when did this happen?” she looked around without recognition. As if the sky fell onto her. As if the world stopped turning. What was it that she couldn’t remember?

Some time later she felt a crash, and rumbling all throughout the castle. A looming shadow of someone she once knew. “My lady.. What… what have you become..” jellyfish cookie said as she looked up at the monster her lover had become.
“Jelly? Jellyfish cookie?” Black Pearl cookie’s expression faltered. Her cold demeanor cracking. “Why are you here? I thought everyone left…”
“Please. Why did you leave… W-why did you leave me?” jelly cried as she fell to the floor. Dragging herself to Black Pearl cookie she choked out, “Please, just say you won’t leave again.” Still, she was all too late. Black Pearl was already turning away.
A cold and heartless voice rang.
“I’m sorry, Jelly.”
