Work Text:
At the end of the aisle is a person Emma never saw herself marrying. They’re in a suit, a gorgeous black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt that’s open at the top, and their hair is slicked back in a way that makes them look so handsome. A word she never thought she’d use for the person she’d choose to live the rest of her life with. Their smile is not the sweet one she thought she’d see but it’s her favourite because their eyes gleam tearfully as they watch her make her way towards them.
She’s never been happier.
