Lee and Nate have a great relationship, they will always support or cheer each other up, but there are also disadvantages, one big minus. Lee is jealous, because he knows that his boyfriend had a lot of girls before, he is afraid that he will be dumped, plus the fact that Lee is quite anxious and often worries about strange things.
It's like Lee started to think less about it because he was sure that his boyfriend was loyal to him. But.. No buts, that's the way it is. Just this morning, a colleague at work told him that her boyfriend had cheated on her, which made Lee start to think about it.
Usually, Lee and Nate go to bed together and spend the evening together, so it was very difficult to hide his anxiety and bad suspicions, but he managed to convince himself that he was just worried about work.
After they went to bed, Lee couldn't sleep for a long time, but eventually he fell asleep.
Unfortunately, due to his worries, he had a dream where it turned out that Nate was cheating on Lee with Wendy, and the dream ended with everyone hating him and cutting off contact with him. The dream was too realistic.
After the dream ended, Lee jumped out of bed, trying to figure out what was real and what was a dream, wiping tears from his eyes as he did so. As he sat on the bed, trying to calm his breathing and heart rate, he didn't hear or realize that he had accidentally woken Nate up. The two of them had been sleeping in each other's arms, so Nate was startled by Lee's sudden movement, and before he fully understood what had happened, he could only hear soft sobs and labored breathing. It was difficult for him to see anything in the dark, so he turned over on his back and tried to wake up. After a while, he finally saw a figure sitting on the bed.
"Uh, Lee?" Honey, is everything okay? - Nate got up a little from the bed, sleepily rubbing his eyes, and he heard an unintelligible "yes" in response -
Nate exhaled and sat up in bed, after a short silence, he put his hand on Lee's shoulder.
- But seriously? - Nate tried to pull Lee towards him, but he just resisted, and again said that he was fine - Did you dream something? Realizing that his boyfriend wasn't reacting, Nate moved closer and put his arm around his shoulders.
They sat like that for about a minute, until Lee couldn't get out of himself.: "Are you cheating on me?" that's why Nate was surprised, obviously you don't expect to hear this question at three in the morning.
Nate thought for a bit, and then decided to ask, "Did you dream that I was cheating on you?" - To which he received an affirmative nod. After a short silence, Nate said the most obvious thing - You do realize that this is just a dream, right?.. After a few moments, he added, "I would never cheat on you."
"I know.".. - After a few seconds, Lee finally answered, and then, in a trembling voice, he added, "It's simple.. The dream was so realistic... His voice was shaking violently, he was either worried or still hadn't woken up from sleep. -
"It's all right. I understand that the dream is realistic, but I would never cheat on you, do you understand that? Nate kissed the guy gently on the cheek -
After the kiss, Lee smiled and nodded. After a while, he finally calmed down and was able to go to sleep, cuddled up with his boyfriend.
