The prophecy has been changed by the pen of fate by the lightners, altering the future and forever changing the trajectory of everyone’s lives, especially Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. It’s only been a week since the prophecy was rewritten as Ralsei invites Susie and Kris for a sleepover.
Ralsei stands at the entrance of Castle Town as he’s been waiting for them to descend down and enter.
“Kris, Susie! I’m so happy you two came by, I got worried that you two wouldn’t
have time to agree to it.” He says, already excited that his Lightner friends traveled all the way down to his place just for a sleepover.
Susie snorts in confidence as she’s always reminded of how much of a pushover Ralsei has been,
“You really think we’d miss your little tea party? Come on! You’re our friend, we wouldn’t miss it even if the roaring happened!”
Susie then walks to Ralsei and pats his back and she shakes him around, teasing him with his still lack of confidence.
Ralsei chuckles nervously as Susie reminds him about the roaring, being reminded at the fact that the world ending almost happened if it wasn’t for her.
Ralsei coughs intentionally as he addresses Kris,
“Anyways, both of you should come into the castle! Though I wouldn’t mind if you’d like to talk to the others..”
“No way man! We’ve come all the way from Kris’s place to the dark world just to accept your invite, no way is Lancer or any of the others distracting us from this awesome night!”
Susie exclaims, knowing that it’ll make Ralsei feel more important.
Kris stays mostly silent, occasionally agreeing with Susie that you two came here for his “tea party”.
“Well, if that’s the case, then why not come inside?”
Ralsei says, holding both Susie’s and Kris’s hands and leading them towards his castle.
Kris notices that Ralsei is slowly massaging their hand, they smile at that fact as they walk towards the dark castle.
Ralsei walks them inside and leads them towards their rooms, showing them how he improved it from their last time visiting. Both Kris and Susie’s room have been turned into one room, with Kris sleeping on the right side of the room while Susie sleeps on her left size of the room. The floors are fully covered in a soft, silky carpet that intertwines with pink and blue, the beds being much softer and easier to lay on, and there’s pictures of all of them around the room. Susie looks in awe as she didn’t realize that Ralsei put this much care into making simple rooms, let alone make them intertwine and connected with each other.
“Dude, you really outdid yourself, have you?”
Susie exclaims in pride and joy, feeling happy that Ralsei put this much effort on just their rooms.
“Awww, Susie..! I knew that both of you would love it!”
“Susie looks around most, then finally notices that the wall disconnecting Kris’s room from Ralesi's room is still up.
“Hey, uhhh… how come your room isn’t connected to ours…?”
Ralsei looks towards the wall that separates his room from Susie’s and Kris’s connected room, a depressed look towards the separated rooms comes onto his face before quickly switching to a fake smile, trying to mask what he truly feels.
“O-Oh, u-umm… I-I’ll just do it later!”
Ralsei switched the conversation about what they’ll do, not wanting to say why he didn’t do it. Susie looks at Ralsei with some concern but then lets it go as she doesn’t want to push further.
“W-Why don’t we have our tea party now? I won’t want to waste your guy’s time.”
Both Kris and Susie agree to it, Susie expressing joy to finally get some fun on and Kris nodding their head in agreement.
Throughout the day, all of them have fun together. Susie tries to cook something edible for once but almost burns down the kitchen even trying. They eventually make something simple together, sharing the moment together and cherishing it deeply as Kris takes a photo of all of them, Susie being covered in tomato sauce, Ralsei having flour stuck on his fur, and Kris’s kitchen gloves being stained in cut greens and reeking of garlic and rosemary.
Kris suggests a movie and Susie is on board with it, Ralsei agrees but not sure which one. Kris and Susie huddle together and decide on a horror movie, The Darkening!
“The darkening? What’s it about?”
Kris and Susie then explain how it’s about an inspiring writer with an alcohol problem taking his family to the Underview hotel after becoming a winter caretaker with his wife “Cindy” and his sociopathic son “Daniel”. As he investigates the hotel more out of morbid curiosity, its supernatural elements start to drive him insane as he and his family desperately fight for their survival.
“Uhhh… are you sure we wanna watch that? Sounds a bit… intense..” Ralseii says with caution and nervousness.
“Come on dude, it’s not like they’ll come and get us! Now stop being a chicken and let’s watch this movie like the man you are!” Susie ruffles Ralesi's hat to tease him.
“Fine, I guess we can do it..” Ralsei looks with playful defeat.
“I know you had the spirit!” Susie shouts, glad that Ralsei grew a back bone for once. Kris nods at Ralsei and gives him a thumbs up, making him get some confidence and gladly go with the flow.
Before they start the movie, they get their snacks ready and sit down, Ralsei sitting on Kris’s side as Susie puts her arm around them both.
As the movie starts, everyone is having a good time except Ralsei. He’s not used to this kind of violence before and shaken by the more intense scenes. Kris notices them looking terrified and cuddles Ralsei a little, knowing that it’ll make him feel better. Ralsei’s heart skips a beat, not expecting this kind of blunt, physical affection. His face blushes red but tries to keep it together as he holds hands with Kris, enjoying every second of it. By the end of the movie, Susie falls asleep in the middle of it as Ralsei and Kris cuddle.
“T-That was… a very extreme movie, wasn’t it Kris?”
Kris nods and smiles at Ralsei, still holding his hand as they continue to sit on the couch.
Ralsei visibly blushes as they keep holding hands with him, Ralsei shakes his head a little to keep calm.
“Why won’t we go to bed now? I’m sure it’s late for you two, it wouldn’t be that bad to stay down here, you know.”
Both of them shake Susie awake to tell her that they’ll be sleeping over here.
At first it doesn’t work, so Kris decided to hit her over the head with a pillow, snapping her away.
“Hey! I was sleeping? Dumbass!” She then notices Ralsei looking a little nervous but then he asks her if she could stay the night as a sort of sleepover.
“Sleepover? Oh I’m so ready for that!” She brings out the bag they brought for her and Kris, containing some pajamas that match their colors.
Susie noticed that they’re both holding hands with Ralsei visibly blushing when Kris isn’t looking. Susie doesn’t pay too much mind as she knows that he’s very easy to fluster.
Susie and Kris decide to change into their pajamas, Susie putting on a purple and pink spotted pajama combo and Kris putting on a striped lime green and soft yellow themed pajama combo.
“How come you aren’t wearing a set of pajama’s, dude?” Susie looks with confusion.
“Well, I don’t usually have other clothes. These robes are usually the only thing I always wear.”
“Seriously? That’s all? Come on man, that can’t be all you’ve got!” Susie says in a teasing tone.
Ralsei looks nervously as he feels out of place without having matching pajamas like the both of them.
“Come on man, if you want I could go and get you a pair, I’ll even get one with your colors!”
Ralsei looks at Susie with surprise at his gesture, “Y-You’d really do that Susie?” Ralsei tugs at the ends of his robe, not sure how to feel about this.
Of course I would, you’re our friend!” Susie said with a great amount of certainty.
Susie then decided to head into Castle Town to look for some pajamas, leaving Kris and Ralsei behind.
Both of them sit in silence as they hold hands, but he then releases their hand from Kris’s.
“S-So uhhh… W-What do you wanna do now Kris? W-We can do anything you want now that Susie is gone for a bit..” Ralsei's glasses crook a little from his stammering.
Kris suggests that they clean up as they don’t want it to look like a mess, pointing at the leftover bags of popcorn on the floor.
“O-Of course! You wouldn’t want it to be messy here now would you?” Ralsei says as he adjusts his pink glasses and starts to throw away the empty popcorn bags.
Kris joins in, helping in collecting the scraps of junk food that they’ve all eaten together. When Kris tries to grab the last bag of popcorn, Ralsei unintentionally tries to grab it as well, causing his fluffy fingers to intertwine with Kris's.
Ralsei looks at Kris, immediately blushing as he realizes what he did, pulling away out of embarrassment and immediately starts to apologize about the mistake.
“S-Sorry Kris! I didn’t mean to do that…” Ralsei looks embarrassed as Kris looks at him in awe, finding him adorable when he’s flustered.
Kris reassures that it’s okay, and to not worry about it, noting that mistakes happen. Ralsei sighs in relief as he wasn’t expecting Kris to reassure him.
“Oh thank the Angels. I’m really grateful that you’re not angry at me…” Ralsei rubs his ears a little from shyness.
Kris reassures him that he hasn’t done anything wrong, but also mentions that they find it cute that he gets so easily embarrassed.
Ralsei blushes profusely at their comment. He tries to hide his cherry red face from them out of nervousness, stuttering over his words as he tries to speak, getting redder and redder and he thinks about how lovingly they look at him.
Kris laughs to themselves, thinking it’s adorable that he freaks out over a simple compliment.
Ralsei notices their soft chuckle and gets a little angry, “K-Kris! T-This isn't funny! Stop laughing!”
Kris’s chuckles turn to laughter as they fall over and cackle over his attempt to be assertive.
Ralsei groans from pure embarrassment as Kris is laughing at how he tried to get angry at them.
“Ugh! You know it’s not funny, Kris! Stop being just a meany head!”
They try to gasp for air but seeing Ralsei’s flustered face makes them go back to laughing their ass off.
Ralsei gets more embarrassed as they keep laughing at his flustered state. Feeling stupid for even blushing at the fact that they simply intertwined fingers
After a while, Kris calms down as they wipe away their tears and start to cough from their dry mouth. They exhale deeply and finally get the chance to catch their breath
Ralsei feels even more of an idiot for even getting nervous over a stupid, silly little touch until Kris holds his hand, gripping it gently.
Ralsei blushes more as they hold his hand, “U-Uh… K-Kris…? W-What are…”
Kris puts their hand over his, cupping Ralsei’s hand gently as they look at him with a soft, warm smile.
Ralsei gets a weird and unfamiliar feeling, but at the same time it feels warm. He starts to get butterflies as Kris holds it closer to them, eventually moving closer to Ralsei.
Now Kris’s face is all up on his own, making his heart skip every beat it has. Just as it seems that Kris is about to do something else, Susie barges in with the pajamas.
“Hey Ralsei, I got you these ones that fit ya!”
Both of them immediately move away from each other and pretend that nothing happened. Ralsei gets distracted from what Susie was saying and thinks about how close he was to… to… before he can finish that thought, Susie throws the silky smooth pajamas in his face, pulling him out of his love stricken trance.
“C’mon man, try them out! I bought them specifically for you.”
Ralsei stutters as he answers, “O-Oh, R-Right! Thank you, S-Susie! I-I’ll just take these to the bathroom and…” Ralsei rushes out of the room in a hurry.
Susie looks confused on why Ralsei is acting like this, she looks at Kris with a confused expression.
“Hey dude, what were you two talking about?”
Kris stutters on their words before settling on that they were talking about baking.
“Right… got it..” She looks at them suspiciously, knowing that something else was happening but decides to not press them on it.
Meanwhile, Ralsei hides in the bathroom and looks into the mirror. He continues to think about the moment where he almost… he snaps out of it and tries to convince himself that it was a one time thing! That nothing happened between them! That Kris was just teasing him for a silly giggle and… Ralsei holds the clothes and uses them as a cover and screams into it, muffling his voice as he tries to distract himself from those feelings.
He finally finishes screaming at the top of his lungs into the fabric, feeling relieved.
“See? It’s just a silly little joke! Kris would never just decide to… they wouldn’t…”
Ralsei groans as he starts to get feelings for Kris, not understanding these feelings as they haven’t experienced it before. He thinks about the other times he felt this way but tried to bury them. The time where he got a hug from Kris when they first entered Castle Town, when they gave him a plushie of himself, now they hugged him during the tunnel of love… how they wanted to just go with him at the festival…
He lays his head on the counter, starting to realize his feelings for Kris because of how they treated him.
He sighs to himself, deciding to change into the pajamas. He takes off robe and puts on the pajamas that Susie got him. After he does so, he leaves the bathroom and tries to keep calm.
Susie and Kris hear him come inside and notice that he’s wearing pajamas.
“Dude, you look awesome in them! I knew you’d look great in them, and they fit your colors!”
He blushes a little from Susie’s compliment but brushes it off.
“Thanks Susie! They fit me perfectly and it feels so nice on my fur.”
Kris also compliments him, saying that it makes him look cute.
Ralsei feels the butterflies in his stomach coming back as he desperately tries to bury them deeper within himself, but finds himself burning red with his feelings, finding himself blush redder than he already was.
“T-Thanks K-Kris! I-I’m happy you l-liked t-them!”
Kris and Susie chuckle, Susie finds it hilarious when he gets flustered. Kris finds it funny and adorable for a much, much different reason.
After a while of goofing off before resting time, they all get ready for bed. Susie gets on her bed and starts to get tired, pulling the blanket over herself as she’s about to sleep.
“H-Hey, wait! Where am I supposed to sleep?” Ralsei says with a little panic in his voice.
“I don’t know, man… just go sleep on Kris’s bed…” After Susie says this, she then finally rests.
“H-Huh!? With Kris?! C’mon Susie! Wake up! You can’t just say that and then fall asleep!” Ralsei tries to wake her up, but fails as she’s practically a snoring stone with a piece of fabric over her face.
Ralsei sighs and looks defeated, hanging his head low as he twiddles his fingers in nervousness and asks Kris the embarrassing question, “H-Hey… Kris… d-do you think I can… s-sleep with you…?”
Kris takes a moment before answering, smiling and agreeing to let him lay on their bed.
Ralsei is grateful but nervous that they agreed in the first place, “T-Thank you K-Kris…”
Ralsei climbs into their bed, trying to stay stiff and rigid to not annoy them, but they have other ideas.
“D-Don’t you think this is w-weird..? M-Me sleeping in y-your bed… b-being so… close to you…?” Kris thinks otherwise, enjoying the fact that they’re so close to each other.
Before Ralsei could respond, Kris then cuddles him. Ralsei is taken completely off guard and starts to panic on the inside. Kris holds him firmly and closely, making sure to make him feel nice and comfy. They explain that this feels nice, saying that it became so much more comfortable and warm with him.
Ralsei gets even more embarrassed just from this intimate act of love, his heart races as he keeps imagining what Kris will do next.
“A-Are you sure this is okay…? I-I don’t want to be a burden…” Ralesi says, looking a little conflicted.
Kris reassures him, saying that they don’t mind and in fact, they like it.
“I-If you say so…” both of them cuddle together, one of them being content and enjoying this and the other feeling conflicted and nervous, feeling like they don’t deserve this.
Kris is the first to sleep, closing their eyes shut as they rest their mind. Ralsei on the other hand continued to lay awake, unable to sleep because of this.
During the middle of the night, Ralsei gets out of their bed and decides that he needs air. He leaves the room and goes off somewhere in Castle Town.
Eventually, Kris feels around the bed for Ralsei, only to realize that he’s not even in They eventually open their eyes to see that he’s gone.
They get out of bed and put on some slippers they brought before going outside the room. They check everywhere that they can think of, the bathroom, the kitchen and even in the other Darkners rooms, but despite it all they can’t find him anywhere.
Kris decides to leave the Castle entirely and head into town, it's eerily quiet as most of the Darkners went home and all of the shops and buildings are closed for the night.
They search around trying to find Ralsei, but each corner only leads to a dead end after dead end. Kris gets more and more worried by the second as they still can’t find him whatsoever.
Kris' sighs of failure quickly turn to groans of frustration as they still can’t find where Ralsei went, deciding to calm their nerves by taking a walk.
Kris spends a good while walking by themselves, thinking about what other places Ralsei could’ve gone to.
Kris walks to the side of a cliff, finally spotting Ralsei sitting there in the fetal position. Ralsei continues to look at the endless void under him, crying silently from his own thoughts.
Kris sits beside him, making Ralsei scream from the shock of seeing them sneak beside them.
“K-Kris! I-I didn’t see you there! U-Uh…” Ralsei quickly wipes away his tears, desperately trying to not worry Kris.
Kris asks if he’s okay, noting that they saw him crying before he quickly tried to hide it. Ralsei looks embarrassed about even being emotional enough to tear up.
“M-Me? Cry? D-Don’t be ridiculous, Kris! You know I-I have to be strong, For you and Susie! That's what you want, r-right?”
Ralsei puts on a fake smile, trying to mask his true feelings just to make Kris not worry about him. Their smile falters as they already see through his mask. Kris thinks to themselves, not sure how to comfort him properly, but they decide to speak their mind.
“Ralsei, are you… okay? You’ve been so… weird ever we’d held hands, and us sleeping together… you’re acting like you don’t matter…”
Ralsei is surprised that Kris is speaking properly, not in short responses or silent whispers, but fleshed out sentences.
“U-Uh… I-I’m fine, Just trust me on this! There’s nothing to worry about with me, okay?”
Ralsei gives Kris a forced smile as he’s visibly sweating through his fur, trying to keep up the smile so as to not worry them.
Kris sighs in disappointment, looking at Ralsei directly.
“Ralsei, please tell me what’s wrong. You can tell me anything, please don’t bottle it up for Susie’s or my sake.”
Kris gently picks up his hand, making sure to keep eye contact as they caress it with care and love. Ralsei grips onto their hand, the soft and gentle feeling of Kris’s skin makes him lay his chin on their shoulder and let it all loose.
Ralsei cries into their shoulder, gripping Kris as hard as he can from all the bottled up emotions he’s been keeping away from them and Susie. Ralsei tries to talk but the waterworks keep flooding in, making him sound like he’s hiccuping. Kris holds him as they comfort him, knowing that they’ve felt this way for so long without the chance to express it properly.
After a while, Ralsei composes himself as he sniffles away the last remaining tears.
“I-I’m so sorry, Kris… I-I didn’t m-mean to just… f-fall apart… I-I’m sorry, I’m really sorry…”
He continues to sob into their arms, wanting some level of comfort after opening up to them. Kris continues to hold them near their chest as keeping him secured is the best comfort he needs.
“I-I’m your p-prince… I shouldn’t b-be the one c-crying like a baby… I-I’m sorry… p-please don’t… p-please d-dont hate m-me… please…”
Kris lets him hold onto his shirt, not caring that it’s been stained by the tears of a lonely boy. What’s on their mind is caring and making sure to reassure Ralsei that they care for him.
After ten minutes of him breaking down onto Kris’s arms, he calms down and stops it entirely with just a few sniffles persisting. Kris wipes away some of the newer and older tear stains on his face, making sure to not let it bother him.
“Are you feeling better? Do you… want to talk about what’s been bothering you, Ral?” Kris looks at him with concern and compassion, making sure to not let Ralsei think that they don’t care for them.
“A-Are you sure…? I-I just… I-It’s too much to say… i d-don’t want to make y-you feel… o-overwhelmed…” he says, hiccuping consistently as he tries to breathe.
“Shhh… breathe Ralsei, breathe. Just one deep breath after another, okay?” Kris slowly tilts Ralsei’s head back towards themselves, making sure he’s looking at them.
O-Okay… I-I’ll try…” Ralsei breathes in and out with the help of Kris, eventually calming down enough to be coherent.
“T-Thank you, Kris… I needed that…” He sniffles a little, taking one last deep breath before facing Kris again. His eyes turn pink from crying excessively and his nose is covered in snot from it as well.
Kris puts their hand on his shoulder as they speak again, “Do you… still want to talk about it? I-It’s fine if you don’t want to, but still…”
Ralsei stares at them for a long while before looking down at his legs, “I-I’d like to talk about it…”
“Then go on. I’ll listen to every word you say, okay?” The look of reassurance in Kris’s eyes gives him a bit more confidence.
“C-Can I be honest, Kris…?” He looks at his fingers when he says this, waiting for Kris to respond.
“Sure, I’ll listen to whatever you say, Ral.” Their eyes lock in with Ralsei’s, a small smile spreads across their face as they listen to his problems. A smile not formed by pity or obligation, but from love and concern for his well being.
“W-Well… I-It’s just that I have these feelings whenever we do anything together… I felt it when you hugged me when I first met you, that time you gave me a little gift when I found you again in cyber city. I couldn’t understand what it meant…”
Ralsei dangles his feet off the edge of Castle Town, feeling more comfortable with Kris sitting next to them.
“…And that time I thought you proposed to me with that ring you got from Noelle, the moment you hugged me when I cried about the prophecy back in the church… or the time y-you let me eat that salsa in the tree trunk first…”
Ralsei continues to ramble on about their intimate memories together, he gets redder and redder when he thinks about how they initiated most of them. Just as he gets overwhelmed, Kris gently grips his chin and moves it towards them.
“Well… did you like it when I did those things?” The way Kris says it makes Ralsei blush like a cherry, his breath becoming shallow as his fluffy cheeks get redder and redder.
“U-Uh… m-maybe…” Ralsei says nervously, he looks around cautiously.
“Is it bad if I say that… I really liked it when you did that… to me?” He blushed from embarrassment from him admitting his pleasure in loving Kris’s acts of intimacy, thinking that he’s greedy for even loving the attention and affection he’s getting.
Kris moves themselves closer to him, letting go of his chin but then goes to his paw and holds it with love and care.
“It’s not bad at all Ralsei, you shouldn’t feel guilty for enjoying those moments.” Kris then hugs him, making sure that they’re gentle with him.
Ralsei blushes from the hug, but instead of feeling stupid or embarrassed, he feels warm and filled with love. He hugs back as he finally calms down.
“Kris… Do you really care for me…?”
They chuckle quietly, finding the fact that despite everything Ralsei is still doubtful.
“C’mon silly, of course I care for you. Trust me, I’ll make sure you’ll feel loved.”
Ralsei sighs in relief, finally putting his worries to ease and relishing in the hug.
“Thanks Kris… but I have to say something… and it’s important.”
Kris has a soft smile on their lips, knowing exactly where this is about to go. They hold both of Ralesi's paws, making sure he’s comfortable enough.
“You can say it, Ral. I would never be mad at whatever you want to confess to me, okay?” Kris scratches his chin, loving the way he blushes just from their silly little moves.
Ralsei burns cherry red just from the simple chin scratch. His words stutter over each other, trying to confess what he wanted to say but fails miserably.
“I-I just… I-I wanted to say t-that…” He gets more nervous, knowing that what he’s about to confess will either be the best thing ever or the most embarrassing decision he’s ever made in his life.
Kris then cups Ralsei’s fluffy cheeks, making him shut up and look at them.
“Ralsei, you can tell me whatever you want. I promise, from the bottom of my soul, that I will accept you for whatever you will say.
Ralsei’s breathing hinges for a couple seconds before blurting, “Kris, I love you!”
Both of them go silent for a few seconds, before Kris busts out in laughter. They topple over on their back and cry their ass off from his blunt confession.
“H-Hey! This is serious, Kris! Stop laughing at me!”
Ralsei gets angry as Kris continues to cry their eyes out from joy, loving the fact that now he’s angry over his stupid, blunt confession.
Ralsei then hits Kris in the stomach out of embarrassment and anger, causing Kris to gasp and laugh as they struggle for air.
“O-Oh my god! I-I’m so sorry K-Kris! I-I didn’t mean t-“
Kris catches their breath and pauses for a little, then tackles Ralsei down to the floor.
“H-Hey! W-What are you doing, Kris?!”
Ralsei says with confusion and anger.
“God, I never thought I’d live to see the day you’d finally tell me those four words!”
Kris then hugs him tightly with happy tears falling down their face. They laugh as they finally confess as well, “Ralsei, I’ve always loved you. You have no idea how much I’ve held those feelings from start to end of our journey.” Kris’s face shows a genuine, truthful expression of joy as they finally confess their feelings as well.
“Y-You also… l-loved me, Kris…?” Ralsei said in confusion, not understanding how they could love him.
“Of course, silly! You didn’t think I flirted with you by accident?” Kris' smile widens, enjoying the fact that they can finally confess on their own terms.
Both of them hug each other, relishing in each other's comfort. Both of them finally being able to breathe after their confessions.
After a while, Kris pulls away slightly. They look at Ralsei’s red face and find it adorable how despite it all, he’s still easy to fluster.
“Hey, uhh… I just… wanted to apologize for the way I was acting. I-I didn’t understand what you wer-“ Kris cuts him off, placing their finger over his month.
“Ralsei, it’s fine. You shouldn’t apologize for not expressing your emotions properly. You can just relax and not feel guilty.” He sighs loudly, clearly relieved again at their reassurance.
“I’m so glad you’re not mad at me…” he says with a little doubt in his voice.
“Are you kidding me? I would never be mad at you. No way I could ever get mad at someone with a cute face like yours.” Kris winks at Ralsei, who’s visibly flustered again.
“S-Stop teasing me! You know it makes me look like a cherry!” Ralsei shoves Kris playfully, being met with a chuckle.
“Come on, You have to admit I’m right! Plus, I like it whenever I see you like this, all cute and adorable over a little compliment is almost the highlight of my way.”
Ralsei pushes Kris a little harder, accidentally making them fall on their back and making him get on top of them.
The tension immediately rose as none of them were expecting this whatsoever. Ralsei makes the first move as he gets closer to Kris’s face.
“H-Hey… I-I… uhhh…”
Kris looks at Ralsei stuttering to get out a sentence, an idea pops into their head.
“I-I wasn’t expecting… t-this…” exclaimed Kris, their flustered face getting more and more redder by the second as Ralsei continued to get on top of them.
Both of them chuckle nervously as they weren’t expecting this, slowly getting more intimate as it prolongs itself. Eventually, they stay silent as both their faces are lipstick red.
Kris slowly lifts their upper body from the floor, putting their hand over one of Ralsei’s shoulders. His breath hinges from this simple gesture. Before he could react, Kris moves slowly and gives him a long, deep, loving kiss. At first, both Kris and Ralsei don’t know how to properly kiss, messing up over and over. eventually, they then get into the rhythm of it all, they both lean into it, Ralsei kisses back as they show more and more of their desires, their needs, their love for each other. They continue to kiss for what seems like forever until they both break the kiss. Both of them pant as they weren’t expecting it to last so long, and yet both of them enjoyed every second of it.
A little spit lands on each other's pajamas, the simple, yet a strong act of intimacy between each other reenacting itself in both their minds. They look at each other with more than love, something that surpasses their own beings.
“T-That was… a-amazing…” Ralsei says, rubbing the combination of each other's spit away from his lips. Kris does the same as he fully sits up.
“Y-Yeah… I-I didn’t think you’d go along with it…” Kris holds themselves steady on the floor.
“M-Me neither, but it felt so… warm…” both of them look at each other with some awkwardness but then Ralsei hugs Kris.
“Thank you…” Ralsei’s warm fur caresses towards Kris’s smooth skin, comforting them both.
“No, thank you… I’ve always loved you since the beginning. You can never understand how much I’ve wanted to say the same, but I guess you also had that issue…”
Both of them hug each other, their love spreading into each other as their relationship becomes something they’ve always wanted.
Kris then picks up Ralsei in the bridal style, smiling softly as they do so.
“H-Hey! T-This is embarrassing, you know!”
Ralsei whines at how stupid this looks, but Kris doesn’t care.
“Come on, it’s not like you’d want to walk back anyways. Why don’t I do the bare minimum and carry the “prince of darkness” back to his castle?” Kris says in a mocking tone.
“Ugh! I can’t with you!” Ralsei says, his tone being defiant but secretly, he really enjoys this.
A few minutes later, they get back to the castle. Kris sets Ralsei down at the steps and leads him inside. Before entering, they open the door and show them inside.
“The prince goes first.” Kris says with an obviously smug smile.
“Oh god angels sake… you’re such a tease, Kris.” Ralsei rolls his eyes and enters, giggling a little as he does.
They eventually get back inside the bedroom, seeing Susie snoring soundly. Both of them chuckle silently to see her still asleep. Kris then climbs into their bed.
“Aren’t you going to join in? It’s not like I want to let you sleep on the floor, you know.”
Ralsei sees Kris’s wink and decides to join in, “I-If you say so…”
Ralsei climbs onto the bed, Kris immediately cuddles him. Ralsei looks a little nervous after their first kiss, but Kris kisses his forehead as a sign of reassurance. He hugs them back, eventually falling asleep peacefully.
They sleep soundly at night, both of them dreaming of each other. As the night grows their cuddling becomes more personal and intimate.
In the morning, Kris wakes up to see Ralsei not in bed with them. Kris panics a little as they also don’t see Susie in the room either, but they smell something sweet outside. Kris goes outside and into Ralsei’s kitchen, only to see him and Susie making breakfast together.
“Oh! Kris! You’re awake! I didn’t want to wake you up, so I quietly got out and made some breakfast for us!” Ralsei seems so much happier than yesterday, putting on a genuine smile instead of one to mask his insecurities.
“Yeah! He’s teaching me how to make them too!” Says a flour covered Susie. Seeing them both happy fills Kris with joy and love, especially for Ralsei.
Kris joins both of them together in making breakfast, laughing, making a disaster of flour and eggs, but having fun nonetheless. After finishing their food and washing the plates, Kris sneaks behind Ralsei as he’s washing the dishes.
“Eek! Hey! Don’t scare me like that, Kris!”
He catches his breath from the unexpected surprise.
“Sorry, I thought It’d be cute to see you get startled~.” They chuckle, thinking it’s funny to spook Ralsei.
Ralsei sighs, never having the heart to scold them.
“Jeez… you’re so mischievous. I still love you, though.” He gives them a little kiss on the cheek, expressing his love to his loved one.
“I love you too, Ral.” They both kiss again, letting the water run as their love continues to grow. They then stop and look at each other with loving eyes.
“I love you, my prince.”
I love you too, my knight.”
Both of them nuzzle each other loving every second of it, but are interrupted by the sound of a plate falling. Kris and Susie jump at the sudden noise, seeing a shocked Susie at the kitchen door.
“S-Susie! I-I didn’t see you there!
Both of them chuckle nervously as they’ve been caught kissing and cuddling.
“W-We can explain.” Ralsei says with nervousness.
Susie laughs her ass off, finding it hilarious that she caught them kissing while doing the dishes. After a while, she catches her breath.
“Nice kissing nerds! Keep on kissing so I can show this to Lancer! *she laughs louder as she walks out the kitchen, ready to tell it to Susie.
Ralsei groans loudly, not expecting their secret to be exposed. Kris comforts him, teasing him about Susie finding out.
”you don’t need to worry about it, Ralsei. It’s not like she’ll tell everybody in Castle Town.” Kris nuzzles Ralsei’s neck, comforting him.
“If you say so…” Ralsei seems unsure, a little worried look appears on his face. Kris kisses his cheek in an attempt to take his worries out.
“C’mon, don’t worry about her. Let’s just cuddle and have some fun.”
Ralsei blushes a little and smiles at Kris, kissing them back on their cheek.
“I’d love that, I’d really love that..”
Both of them kiss again, Kris making sure that it is as passionate and lovingly as possible. They break the kiss and smile at each other.
“I love you, Kris.
I love you too, Ralsei.
They then hug gently, the flour and syrup on their pajamas mixing with each other as they finally accept that this is what they both wanted, a happy ending for them both.
