Chapter Text
Midorima was stressed to say the least. Oha Asa had predicted that Cancers were in tenth place today. Apparently today's lucky item was a pair of scissors. Luckily he had some in his bookbag. Worst part was that his class had a test after lunch. Luckily, he had enough time to study during lunch.
Midorima stepped out of his house and saw Takao waiting outside with his bike and Midorima's wagon ready to go. "Good morning Shin-chan! I have your wagon ready to go!" Takao exclaimd. Midorima had no idea how his boyfriend was so energetic so early, but he just nodded, sat in the wagon, and waited for Takao to start biking to Shuutoku high.
When Takao started to bike, Midorima couldn't help but think. Even if his day was terrible, he at least could see Takao. As Takao kept peddling, he couldn't stop staring at his boyfriend. Takao looked perfect. Not that he would ever tell him that. Apparently he was staring too long, and they already arrived at school.
Midorima stepped out of his wagon as Takao went to find somewhere to put the bike and wagon. Midorima walked into the building to his classroom. He sat in the back row in the corner. That's where he always sat next to Takao. He looked next to him expecting to find an empty seat for Takao. Instead he saw one of his classmates sitting there. He glared at the girl. "Go sit somewhere else," he said barely holding back his anger. The girl looked confused, but she wouldn't move. Midorima gave her a glare. "I said move!" he said. The girl finally moved, but not before scoffing.
Takao walked into the classroom and walked into the back and plopped down next to Midorima. "Shin-chan, I put my bike behind the school building along with your wagon," Takao smiled as he said that. Midorima just smiled at him. He was still trying to calm down from almost snapping at the girl. Takao continued, "Is something wrong Shin-chan?" Midorima shook his head as the teacher walked into the classroom and sat at his desk. Midorima zoned out the entire lesson. How was he supposed to pass the test after lunch if his luck was bad today?
The lunch bell rang. Midorima didn't even look at Takao and walked straight to the school library. He went inside and sat at one of the tables in the corner. He hated having to study during lunch, but his luck was too risky to trust for the day. Yes, he was smart, but Oha Asa was never wrong. His eyes widened as Takao walked into the library. Takao always sat with the team during lunch. Why was he here? "Takao what is wrong? Why are you here?" Midorima asked looking at his boyfriend.
Takao smiled at him, as he sat down, "I wanted to sit with you today," Takao smiled.
"I'm studying today, so I can't talk," Midorima said calmly. He was surprised when Takao didn't get up, instead just started to rub his back. That immediately helped him calm down a bit. Maybe he didn't need to have luck. After all he had Takao.
