Chapter Text
Imagine if you just crashed, uprooted a tree somehow and now you're bleeding and suddenly can see in color.
Not to mention you barely know what it means to see in color for the first time.
You're used to ponies looking terrified at the sight of you. But this yellow one is coming towards you instead of running as far as they can.
If you were actually a real being, you would be confused. But you're not, so you do not feel anything.
You feel like a broken vine with no orders. You can't understand what this winged creature is saying.
Your red eyes dart from the green, the yellows, the mixture of blood on your fur before finally resting on the blue green of the tall pony's eyes. You don't understand them but something in their eyes says things you don't recognize.
You wobbled as you struggled to your hooves, like a rock structure about to fall apart.
You can't tell if they're trying to lead you to that…thing in close range. (You've seen tents before, but not whatever this is but you'd think a fire inner could burn it down) Or trying to balance you?
You wouldn't advise it, you are stained in a mix of your blood and an earth pony's blood.
But you don't usually talk. You're not usually ordered to talk. Just to attack and kill.
You walked with limps for the longest time, it's always been that way. You thought it was normal. Just like how normal it was for you to be able to breathe without gasping.
That changed with the healing process.
She got out the thorns that were clogging up the flow through the vines and the flowers on your body. You could breathe normally, it was nice to breathe fresh air.
And before that, she got your fur and hair cleaned. They had water in the cult, but you were never allowed to get close to it.
This was the closest to maybe concern someone has felt towards you. It feels a bit odd, you would thank her if you knew how.
You've been picking up on some words. The pony's name is Fluttershy.
You know all the animal names in the cottage by now.
There's a word she's been saying towards you that you really like the sound of. It sounds nice.
'Starry'.
You have no clue what the word means.
Ah. 'Starry' is you apparently? She sometimes refers to you by 'she' as well. Having an actual name felt very strange? But you aren't one to stray away from gifts.
