"Oh!! You picked up right away. I must be the chosen man!!"
"Gosh… Im already injured enough”
“Ugh~ i surrender! White flag! I’m dead!”
“Im so tired so tired…I dont think my work will ever end. . ."
"One leads to another and then another and then another another~”
MC breath gently paused, as if to say something before her mind caught up. Her fingers began to loosen on her phone. They pressing it against Their left cheek before setting the phone aside on their shoulder. MC pulled herself up from her lazily positioned body adjusting her hair that might have been ruined from hanging her head over the bed.
Before they knew it her mind made a choose on what to say. Her voice filled the silence that Luciel never intended to fill.
“I guess you’re having a hard time…;;;”
Her lips closed once more, as he responded. They gently laid back down hanging her head over the bed, and her phone back on her ear. Her ear twitched, as Luciel continued to talk almost tired of this back and forth. They softly sighed before her eyes fixed on the small camera angled perfectly in Rika apartment. It covered most of the apartment, yet they knew there were likely more cameras that filled the gaps that this camera couldn't reach.
Luciel's voice faded into her mind while he spoke.
“Today’s unusually tough…-”
MC began to tilt her head. They stared at the camera more carefully, not knowing if it even was a camera. They never felt the need to ask more about the information handed to her. It's how they gotten into this mess, and now here they were locked in
a dead woman's apartment and forced to stay. Luciel voice soften even, as he continued to talk while the blankets wrinkled underneath MC. They let out a strained sighed before sitting on their knees. It wasent the cameras. It wasent Luciel, or to her knowledge anything.
MC eyes trailed from the that camera hung from the ceiling to the wooden flooring.
“You know, what did you do before you came to the RFA?"
They pushed aside the awkwardly placed hair strand on their face putting it behind their ear
"Can you tell me?"
MC hand loosened on their phone before feeling their eyes close. Luciel's voice broke in from the muffled speaker on their phone. Their lips parted once more, yet there was no respon-. Luciel's voice peered into the silence that they left.
He asked once what they did before joining RFA. Her tongue moved to speak, yet their lips stayed still. What did I do? Their mind pushed for an answer only to be pushed back leaving them in a slight dazed state.
"Can you?"
They held no other identity then the one they currently possesses. They were a person living in Seoul, Korea where they had to return this phone. MC had talked to Unknown, and he led them here. A supposive kind act now landed her planning for a party in no less then a week.
"Tell me what did you before."
It seems so blurry, but they cant rememberanything past that. They aren't even sure how they got to Rika apartment other then arriving there.
"Mika."
Their throat began to itched causing them to stammer on their words hearing that name. Luciel softly mumbled before MC could hear the phone being thrown on a desk. Their fingers twitched at the clashing on the speaker phone before setting their gaze to where they presumed a camera was.
Their mind pushed aside any linger residue that the name felt it had. Maybe Luciel was just getting in their head to freak them out like how he did with Yoosung, but how would he know-. It didnt matter, not to them. They felt their body softly rise up from the bed before their hand lingered on Rika nightstand.
The soft wood was felt on their fingertips before their hand fell limp, as it went over the edge. Their voice broke before they looked down at the floor. What did I do? What life- .
MC voice clambered before they settled their tongue to rest after speaking.
"I dont-..."
Their eyes looked around before they felt themselves biting their bottom lip. They turned their head around glancing at the photos Rika had on her desk. Photos of past RFA events hung with awards that the organization had earned. They gently began to walk over before setting their eyes on the door that was keeping them in.
Their own voice pushed passed their own faltering voice before they knew it.
"Its a secret~"
There was no question on what to say. It came out instinctually. MC hand moved the phone passed their cheek. Their speakerphone picked up their hair stands brushing against it. They gazed at the phone for a second while their mind had already planned. Their thumb slid across the screen, and hung up.
Her eyes focused on the reflection that the phone gave before throwing it on the bed. MC carefully pushed herself up, and began to head to the kitchen to calm her mind with tea.
