the sun blazed in the sky as it reigned over the beach, as two star crossed lovers sped onto the beach, water guns in hand. one was laughing and smiling while hitting the other square in the face. the other falls back, angrily trying to get up and catch him. behind them was two girls, sharing a large parfait.
'hehe! tsukasa-kun and rui-kun are having so much fun!' emu said cheerily, taking another spoonful of the parfait and looking at her girlfriend.
nene shakes her fan, slightly sweating. 'yeah, they're really loud, if only it wasn't this hot, i could tell them to shut up.'
'true, but i've got a surprise up my sleeve if it helps!' emu adds.
'i think it's fine, i'll get them myself.'
nene takes a breath, and then she gets completely soaked to her surprise. she glares at rui and tsukasa angrily, before turning to emu.
'emu..can i have that water gun please..?' she said in a scarily calm tone of voice.
emu nods and begins to cheer. 'go for it, nene-chan, give them a biiig splash nene-chan!!'
nene fixes her hat, smiles at emu, and runs towards the two with full power locked and loaded on either one of the two idiots. it was almost as she was in an open world rpg, executing her targets.
she shoots, and gets tsukasa square in the face. he falls back, screaming. next to him, rui looks back at nene, his eyes wide open, surprised. 'nene-'
she didn't even let him finish his sentence. he too, was soaked and was sent to the same fate as tsukasa.
'that's what you both get! be careful where you are shooting!' nene called out to them annoyed.
rui and tsukasa was prepared to fight back but was met with an even higher and chaotic force, and their faces change from surprise to shock horror.
'papapapapapaappa kaboom!' emu comes jumping over nene's head with a focused and serious look on her face, with an entire bucket's worth of water balloons prepared, and successfully pelts the three of them (nene unintentionally) with many balloons, leaving those three as a screaming mess.
her arms was moving as quickly as a machine gun's magazine, and what remained after that was three sopping wet people flopping uselessly on the sand.
'wahahah! i win!' emu shouts, back to her normal cheerful self.
'e-emu?! how- when?!' nene stammered out, completely lost for words.
'hehe, nene-chan, didn't i tell you i had a surprise up my sleeve?! this is it!' emu smiles, as if everything was normal.
tsukasa gets up from the ground, surprised. 'emu, how did you even manage to move your arm like that?! does it even hurt?!'
'hehe, nope! i was practicing how to do this for a long long time! so im glad that it had a super fun use outside of shows!' emu answered.
rui was still sitting behind them, mumbling softly. '...now, if i used the elastic energy of the water balloons to propel them out and towards the target, then the result of that is...'
'hey! earth to rui!' tsukasa waves his hand in front of rui's face, getting him out of his daydream. rui returns, with a blush on his face.' as he is suddenly met with the sight of his boyfriend.
'ah, tsukasa-kun! sorry, i was just thinking of a new invention!' rui smiles.
'are you sure? you was out for a while there!' tsukasa softly places his hand on rui's forehead, and feels the seething heat coming off of it.
tsukasa gives a silent face of worry, looking straight at emu and nene. without a word, he picks rui up and runs back towards their beach umbrella.
from there, nene, emu and tsukasa begin to cool rui down. nene with the fan, emu with the water and tsukasa with the snacks.
'rui, how did you not tell any of us that you was more sensitive to heat! even worse about how you can't regulate it!!' tsukasa said worriedly.
'ah, sorry tsukasa-kun, i wanted to have fun, but it seems it had maybe gone a little overboard yoyoyo..' rui looked around at the three of them, looking sorrowful.
'overboard is one way to put it.' nene said softly.
'how are you feeling rui-kun?' emu asked.
'thanks to my lovely friends, i feel much better now. thank you everyone.' rui said.
'no problem!' tsukasa said, before a yawn cuts his thoughts.
all three look at nene, who is covering her mouth.
'sorry, i'm not allowed to feel tired?' nene snapped back.
'should we call it a day here everyone?' rui observed the night sky, and at everyone's tired faces. 'everyone looks quite exhausted, and we might return a little too late.
'i think its a good idea but, i want to spend more time with everyone.' emu admits, looking a little more sad.
nene suggests. 'i don't think any of us want to leave each other after the fun day we had. 'so then, how about a sleepover?'
'i think that's a good idea! everyone looks quite exhausted to return home, and i think we only have a few trains left back to tokyo.' tsukasa speaks up.
'okay then! everyone can go to mine!' emu begins to pack up her things, and everyone else follows suit.
as soon as they get on the train, emu and nene are already asleep, with emu holding onto her, her head on her shoulder. it doesn't take long for tsukasa to join them in dreamland, laying on rui's shoulder. rui leans closer to tsukasa and wraps an arm around him, staying awake so they don't end up in a different part of japan.
and as the group arrive at emu's house, they immediately lay together on a massive air mattress, blankets on them. scripts waiting to be analysed, laptop waiting for a musical to be played. all four lay together as they slept, preparing for another wonderful day ahead of them. small smiles formed on their faces as the night continued, washing away their tiredness.
