Snap.
Hoseok lowers the phone down.
“Let me see, Seok-ah.” Yoongi hovers behind him to look at his phone, his breath grazing his nape.
They examine the picture they took standing close to each other in front of the mirror. Yoongi is right behind him looking smug–his long black hair hidden under a beanie–and Hoseok is holding the phone up, dressed in his denim jacket and short shorts, his long locks of hair fluffed out beautifully.
But what wasn’t captured in the photo was Yoongi’s right hand holding Hoseok low on the hips.
Anyone but them wouldn’t know from looking at the picture.
“So pretty…” Yoongi hums. Hoseok looks up to meet his eyes in the mirror and gives him a smile, small and timid.
“Hyung, let’s take another one,” Hoseok reaches behind him to pull Yoongi closer. In return, Yoongi’s arms snake around his waist instinctively, pressing him close to his wide frame. He rests his chin on the younger’s shoulder before landing a quick peck on his cheek.
They both let out a giggle.
Hoseok doesn’t hesitate to bring the phone back up and take the picture. But one isn’t enough– so he clicks some more. His slender fingers grasp the phone while the other hand secures the arms caging him in.
One picture captures the sweet smiles plastered on their faces, eyes crinkled, cheekbones high. The other catches Yoongi stealing another peck, it comes out a little blurry. The next one is when Hoseok turns his head, kissing Yoongi on the cheek this time.
There are more pictures, mostly out of focus, but still–the joy of being in each other’s embrace can be translated even through the shaky frames.
In another photo, the phone is held up high, fully covering Hoseok’s face. And behind him was Yoongi, his head held low, face hidden, pressing his forehead against the warmth of Hoseok’s shoulder.
And somehow, that one ends up on Yoongi’s lockscreen.
Only one of the pictures was shared to the whole world. But the rest—stuck in time inside Hoseok’s little gallery—amongst the collection of visuals depicting everything he loves.
