Isagi strolled through the crowd, not really paying much attention, as the train station was less crowded at this time of day. After defeating the U-20's team, Ego gave them all a two-week break. Isagi was taking this chance to watch a movie she was planning to watch before coming to Blue Lock. She had been angered by a forum that was inncorrectly assigning the characters types, so she decided to go and watch the movie for herself, so she could stop the misinformation. 'If we're talking stereotypes, they're probably-' Her train of thought was quickly interrupted when she bumped head first into somebody. "Ah, sorry, I should've been paying more attention" She quickly apologized, embarrassed. When she looked up, she realized this was no stranger, it was Rin! "Rin?! Uh- What are you doing here?" She blurted out nervously. Rin glared at her. "What do you mean? I'm taking the train, same as you." Rin looked away, seeming as though she wanted to be anywhere but here. "Ah, right.." 'Jeez, how could I ask such a stupid question?!' Isagi reprimanded herself. Rin, obviously having reached her destination started heading out. Isagi panicked, "Hey do you wanna, uh.." She gulped as Rin turned around to listen to her. 'Good, here's my shot!' "Do you wanna go to the movies with me..?". Rin was caught off guard by the question, face slightly tinted pink. Hiding her face, she asked, "And why would I do that?" Now it was Isagi's turn to be caught off guard by this. She hadn't anticipated getting this far. Quickly thinking of an excuse, she answered, "Well, I'm going to watch Scream, and since you said you liked horror movies, I thought... You would maybe wanna go (out) with me?"
With an awkward smile, she stood there out of place, like a business man wearing mismatching socks. 'Great going Yoichi, you blew it.' She thought to herself. Rin's silence wasn't helping her confidence. 'Ah, dang, I shouldn't have said anything-' "Alright fine, I'll go with you" Rin finally answered. Isagi looked up, catching her gaze through silky bangs. "But only because it would be lukewarm to decline, and I'm feeling nice today" Isagi's eyes lit up, her heart fluttering with the same excitement as scoring a goal. Her and Rin were going on a date-! 'Ah no, no, I can't be thinking like that. This is just two friendly rivals going to the movies together. Yeah, that's all it is! It's not like my heart is beating like crazy right now, geez what is that smell — is it me? Wait, is my hair messed up? What if she thinks I'm ugly in this outfit? Gosh this is so embarrassing...'. Before she knew it, they were already heading off the train and into the theater. After awkwardly being declined to pay for Rin's ticket, they got snacks. Or well, Isagi did. Rin didn't want the extra calories, despite Isagi seeing her always devouring her food like it was her last meal. 'So, what do I say? Hey how's it going Rin? No, that's too formal... This kinda feels like a date, huh? No no, that's too direct.'
"So, Yoichi," Rin's words woke her up from her thoughts. "I didn't think you were strong enough to watch a scary movie."
'Excuse me!? Why wouldn't I be strong enough? I'm old enough to watch this without getting scared! This movie isn't even going to be scary anyway..' Noticing Isagi's tepid face, Rin decides to rephrase her words. "Why did you pick this movie to watch? It's not that interesting." Upon hearing this, Isagi lit up. "Well, you see, different people have different types, like an MBTI. But there are also different typology systems, like Enneagram subtypes, tritypes, Big Five, Temperaments, Sociotypes, and more!" Rin continued to listen, though she didn't really care about what Isagi had to say. Still, she nodded along when Isagi told her that she was probably INTJ 3w4 LII whatever the hell the rest was. None of it made sense, but she liked the sound of Isagi's cheerful voice, so she let her continue. She wouldn't admit it, but she was a little sad when Isagi had stopped talking to focus on the movie, but it at least gave Rin more wiggle room to stare at Isagi freely. Isagi didn't have too much going on; She had basic straight hair, basic clothes, medium size breasts, probably B cups. She was just your average Jane Doe. If she was anyone else, Rin would've ignored her, would've declined the invitation. But Isagi Yoichi wasn't just anyone; She was special. She lit a fire inside Rin, like gasoline meeting an open flame. Plus, she had already seen this multiple times with her onee-san so she didn't have anything else to do. Considering that, she got bored pretty quickly.
Soon that boredom became tiredness, and the tiredness soon shifted into her slumping onto Isagi's shoulder, despite being five inches taller. Obviously, like anyone would, Isagi noticed Rin's new position. She was flustered, not knowing what to do. Her rival, or her crush, was it a crush?, was sleeping on her shoulder. Isagi tensed, not daring to move. One wrong move and she could wake up, and then the moment would be over. Slowing her breathing, she relaxed herself, sinking into the chair. She attempted to shift her focus back on the movie, but failed. Giving up, she slowly lowered her head onto Rin's. She sniffed her hair, smelling her champagne smooth perfume. She already knew Rin liked to keep herself clean, but it was nicer being able to smell her scent up close. Though her position was kind of cramping her arm, so she carefully lifted it and around Rin's shoulders, cautious not to wake the sleeping beast. Though she wish she could. She wished she could wake her up and hold her hand, hold her close as she kissed her soft lips, feeling her body against hers. Unfortunately, that's not how the world works. But if this is all she can get for now, this small moment as they lean into each other's heat, then she'll take it. Hopefully, one day, they could be more than this.
Now, like this, Isagi was finally able to focus. Paying attention, she noted the characters quirks, personalities, and perspectives. With this input she was able to conclude that Billy was either ISTP or ESTP 6w5, his friend Stu was most likely ESTP 7w8, and Sydney was probably INTJ 9w8. If she had been paying more attention she could've gotten more insight on the characters and other characters, but she was fine with this for now. She could always come back to watch the movie again, but she'd never get this moment back.
